We had a lovely stay. A great base for our weekend in York. The place had everything we needed and the breakfast was really nice too. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks Simon and Danielle!

We stayed at the annex to attend a wedding in nearby Appleton Roebuck. The Annex was very easy to find and Rob was very helpful with directions and information prior to our stay. The property although an annex to the main house is very private and spacious inside! It all felt comfortable and homely and we loved all the artwork and little touches. Especially the cow 🐮 ! The walk down the bridle path outside is nice if you want an explore. Robs place was great well placed for the wedding and to explore York. Fantastic stay! Would recommend to family staying in the area. Fantastic spot and clearly well loved.

Lovely cottage, feels spacious as it is light and airy with high ceilings. Michael was very helpful when we reached out for recommendations about local services and amenities. Very helpful and responsive host, would absolutely recommend the cottage for a peaceful trip away from crowds and the hustle and bustle of York but also being within easy reach.

Sophie is a great host, friendly and welcoming, and very responsive to any queries. The information book she provided in the flat was very helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, in a beautiful quiet setting. The patio was a lovely sun trap in the evenings for a drink with stunning views! The local village shop was well stocked with both essentials and a deli counter, and the butcher had a lovely bakery as well as a selection of homemade meals and the best steak we’ve ever had! We ate out one night at the local pub and had a really good meal. There also seems to be a really good bus service that runs regularly through the day if you needed it, but from here you are within easy reach of places to visit like Robin Hood’s bay, Whitby, the coast and the beautiful North York moors. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

We booked last minute and the host was away but was happy to accommodate us . She advised us that there was work ongoing with the newly built porch and it really didnt affect our stay. After a few problems on the telephone talking us how to get through the gate( it should have been left open) the local agent arrived and all was well The annexe is obviously 'work in progress' with some areas ( dining room) still to be renovated but overall a great place to stay. Was surprised that there was still a christmas garland on the stair bannister! Spotlessly clean but there was an overwhelming fragrance in lounge when we first arrived (? shake and vac or similar) which affected our breathing. Opened windows and fragrance lessened by second day. Great place to stay close to hospital and City Centre. Great having 2 bathrooms. Lovely well equipped kitchen. Spacious bedrooms. When the new porch is finished and the dining area decorated to match the rest of the house it will be fabulous.

We had a lovely stay at The Samson Suite last week. It was lovely and clean and beautifully furnished. All the linen was best quality and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to sit outside on the sunny patio as it was so peaceful and private. The suite was easy to find and the parking was great. Its just a short flat walk into Beverley with lots of places to eat, shop and visit. Beverley Minster is also close by. Top class place to stay and we will definitely return. My husband and I booked Lucy's place for a night as we were going for a meal nearby. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. a simple, cute space that felt private and homey. It was clean and well presented and the bed was very comfy. Lucy had gone to the trouble to stock the fridge and small kitchen with stuff that meant we could have a nice breakfast in the morning. Lucy's instructions were clear and we find the place and checked in easily. Ampleforth is a peaceful village with some nice pubs. We did struggle getting a taxi to our car in the morning but Lucy was very kind and offered us a lift. We'd definitely stay again if visiting the area. Thank you Lucy for having us.

I loved my stay in Scarborough and at Daniel's place. Daniel's house is lovely, very clean and just few minutes driving from the best restaurants and town attractions. Additionally you can just walk to do some shopping as shopping centre nearby and also 24 hrs corner shop nearby. There is also park & ride parking near and bus stops down the road which was very handy when we went out for few drinks. The place is beautifully decorated, complately furnished with everything you need in there. I didn't see the host as he offers self check in and it was very private with my own exit and entrance which is a bonus ! I felt like in my own apartament. Totally recommend it to others.

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation,lovely peaceful location,immaculately clean and spotless. Enough towels,and basket in bathroom full of toiletries. Nice comfortable bed, lovely bed linen. We will be returning again, this is our first experience with Airbnb, highly recommended .

We stayed for a week at JK Lodge and felt at home from the start. Alan and Gill were friendly and welcoming and we're great hosts. JK Lodge is in an excellent location for exploring both the Wolds and the coastal areas. Our spaniel liked the outside area and the lodge had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome treats too.. thankyou!

Joanne was very welcoming and the apartment was as advertised. Secure, private parking, honest pricing and a lovely quiet spot in Leeds. Highly recommended.

Communication with Fern was excellent. Instructions for finding the property and parking was top notch. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly return in the future.

Lovely Studio, compact but well laid out with thoughtful touches. would definitely recommend. The food supplied for breakfast options was excellent. Peter and family are very accommodating and friendly.

Great location: private, peaceful and great village with several public footpaths within a short distance of the cottage. The cottage has everything you need, really well equipped and lovely outdoor space. Sarah was lovely and approachable. We only booked a couple of nights but could happily have stayed all week.

Tiny & cosy place, 15‘ to the north bay beach and the best fish&chips in town. Anne is a very warm, welcoming and empathetic host. Wonderful hideout for a couple of days. Will be back next year!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back. Such a delightful place, well positioned and fully accessible for a blind person with carer. Such lovely touches made us really feel at home here, even decorated for Christmas. Being able to watch the donkeys in the field outside each morning was really relaxing, and so nice to be close to nature like that with such amazing views. John and Pauline were lovely and so helpful, it made our stay really comfortable. You have really thought of everything. Thank you so much

We had a wonderful stay at Ian and Lois’s self-contained guest suite. Every detail was carefully thought out, and the space was spotless and extremely comfortable. The amenities were exactly what we needed and more! Their guest guide was incredibly helpful, especially the recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants, which we loved. The location was also perfect, with such an easy and scenic drive into the city centre. Ian and Lois were fantastic hosts, welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

A lovely place to stay - very clean, comfortable and quiet. The apartment is very on trend and well equipped with everything you could need. Only a few minutes walk into town but very peaceful with a nice little patio area to sit outside. Ripon is a lovely town with a beautiful cathedral. One little problem with the TV (due to our technical incompetence!) was quickly resolved by Liz's son). No hesitation in recommending

This place felt like a hidden gem, perfect for exploring Whitby and Scarborough, and walkable to Robins hood bay. Everything was as described, the place was spotless and set up so we didn't need to talk to the host, but had all the details if we had needed to get hold of her. Kust the break we needed, and our very young daughter loved her first holiday!

The room we had was lovely and everything as described. The host Jamal was lovely and friendly. We were early in and the room wasn’t ready but we could leave our bags so we could go out without big backpacks on which made the day much better. We really enjoyed our stay and if in the area again, would stay here 😊 Thank you!
