The Peat Stack

OliviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at The Peat Stack! Everything was perfect, clean and it had everything we needed for the few days we stayed, even some goodies left by Isobel. We felt at home right away! The hot tub, the amazing view and the sheep neighbours were a big bonus. Stornoway and a big supermarket can be reached in less than 15 min and it is a great location to explore the island.

Glyn is such a wonderful, welcoming host. The breakfast was amazing and the BnB was the perfect peaceful hideaway on Skye.

Charming cottage in Ellishadder

AlanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The home is a perfect location. Close to many popular things to do on the Isle of Skye including Old Man of Storr and the dinosaur footprints on the beach (less than 1/2 mile away). The home is peaceful and in a beautiful location, bathrooms and kitchen are great, living room cozy, beds comfortable. If you’re looking for a place to stay, this is it. We absolutely hope to return the next time we’re in Scotland.

Sea Room, Scalpay

ThomasRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The house is in a stunning location, we saw seals and otters from the conservatory and spent many nights looking at the wildlife. The house had everything we needed and was only 15 minutes drive from Tarbert to stock up on supplies. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival and we didn't find it lacking in anything and was easy to find on arrival. We had a wonderful stay and would definatly come back again.

Romantic water side cabin. Isle of Harris

Kam TongRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Otter Hide was a perfect escape for a few nights. It is small but the space is very well utilised. Comfortable bed. The best thing is the location. So tranquil and stunning scenery. Also some lovely touches from the owners; lots of good guides for touring the area and a charming “wee shoppe” of gifts to purchase.

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

LoganRating, 5 starstoday
We loved staying at the Larch Shed! Hallin is a beautiful slice of Skye with much to do and is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas like Portree. Jane was very hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The Shed itself was exactly as described and very peaceful with an absolutely stunning view of the bay to start and end your day with. Everything was well appointed and we enjoyed the rustic decor. Highly recommend the YurtTea down the road for small breakfast and coffee, as well as nearby Stein Inn for amazing dinner. We also enjoyed Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan for dinner. Would recommend stopping at the co op on Forest rd in Portree for cooking provisions on your way up. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our return!

Aird Druim an Tolla

BeverlyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Alasdair is a wonderful human and the chance to experience him, his companion Ross the Dog, and the out of this world landscape of his croft was an honour. He made us feel like family and the chance to get to know him was a highlight of our whole trip to the Hebrides. The beds were so comfy, the breakfast amazing (we watched him feed the chickens who gave us our breakfast eggs while we ate), the local knowledge advice of places and adventures invaluable. Do yourself a favour and get to know him (and Ross) and experience his place. A memory for life for us.
