Really helpful host and lovely location!

What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful spot and cottage to fully unwind for a couple of days. The cottage is set in the most peaceful and beautiful of settings, with easy access to the lake and beach area. The cottage was quirky, quaint and eclectic and we all felt at home and relaxed as soon as we stepped in. The added extra touches from Mark and Ruth were lovely and we felt really welcomed to their space. The cottage has everything you need and it made for a peaceful and relaxing few days to relax and recharge. Thanks again for letting us stay.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place and friendlier helpful host. Kathryn was attentive and was very responsive, always friendly and helpful. This cottage is very spacious, modern and clean. We really enjoyed our time here. We are already planning when to go back. The views from the windows and the hot tub are beautiful. There is so much to do, we needed much longer to explore more areas and go on more walks. We would definitely recommend this place.

What an absolute gem we found in Apple House. The pictures really don't do the whole place justice! A cosy, romantic house set in beautiful, serene surroundings. It really was the perfect location for our mini moon! Was lovely to be greeted by the chickens and Russel the dog each morning <3 We were treated to some tasty welcome gifts and the place was spotless, very comfy bed and just the most charming decor. Thank you so much Emma and Craig! We will definitely be returning with more of our family!

An excellent cottage walking distance to the town centre. Close to pubs and shops. The property was in excellent condition and the welcome pack was very nice. Excellent stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to call home temporarily. Lovely quiet location but close enough to Lake Windermere to reach on foot. Very comfortable and super stylish, the unique bathroom is a real plus. Emma and Gregory had really thought about everything I could need and I can't wait to revisit.

We spent a week at The End and had a great time, the views were beautiful and the cottage is much bigger than the photos show, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great location for most of the Lake District. Would highly recommend and would come back. Kids really enjoyed the swing in the garden.

Zoe was great in communicating and the property is indeed a rare find. The garden was unique and our Labrador loved it.

Such a lovely cottage!! We felt at home upon arrival and enjoyed every minute we spent in it. Our cat was very happy as well, entertained by all the birds and little animals he could watch from the windows. Location was great - nice little village but also a 10min drive to Cockermouth with plenty of options for shops and restaurants. We’d love to come back someday!

Stuart and Lynda gave us very clear instructions to get to the place and it is one of the most beautiful stays we have been in. The drive is amazing and the walks from the backyard are great as well. It is easy to get to if you drive and is 30-40 mins away from most famous Lake District hikes. Definitely would recommend

Wonderful stay at Strawberry Cottage. Location was amazing so we could make the most of everything Keswick has to offer. Very homely cottage, very comfy beds and lots of local information available. Beautifully decorated too!

First class accommodation with amazing outlook over Lake Coniston. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Its well located within a 5-10 minute walk of the town depending how fit you are!

Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean, lovely welcome basket with treats such a great welcome. Lucy and family very welcoming, showed us around and ensured we knew how everything worked. Lots of tourist leaflets and guides. Central to all local lakes, Hilltop etc stunning scenery on the doorstep. Loved our stay

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

Jem’s Conga’ was the perfect spot to explore Ambleside and the nearby towns of Bowness, Grasmere and Keswick. Jem was a brilliant host who shared ideas of walks and things to keep us occupied in the rain. A comfortable, homely, cosy cottage in a stunning and peaceful setting.

We really enjoyed staying here for a few days! A fantastic location for heading out on some great hikes and not far from places like Grasmere and Ambleside too! A very cosy place to be located with fantastic views right from the door! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at the Bothy, it’s a wonderful place! Charming and comfortable, the spacious living room and kitchen have everything you could need and the bedroom is really comfy and cozy. The perfect secluded country escape and a short drive to Windermere. The local pub was a great spot for a beer in the sun and Max the dog loved running around the massive field that Rebecca directed us to. Thanks so much for having us, highly recommended! X
