I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully remodeled cabin on Lake Winter, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin features an abundance of windows, creating a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. At night, the lights streaming through the trees added a magical touch to the atmosphere. One of the standout features was the heated floors in the bathroom, which were a delightful surprise! Eric, the host, was incredibly responsive and communicated quickly. He provided excellent recommendations for local dining and amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend planning a visit to this stunning cabin. It’s the perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. I was looking for something remote, peaceful, and quiet to unplug with my husband. It was exactly that. The hosts had excellent communication and answered us promptly with the few questions we had. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. They requested any recommendations or suggestions which shows they care about their guests. I would certainly stay again.

Highly recommend this cabin! We wanted a spacious cabin for a getaway with friends where we could cook, eat together and relax and this was so perfect. The kitchen is amazing, the hot tub was a lovely perk, there was more than enough room. When we had some issues getting up the icy winding driveway the host came to help us in person, above and beyond friendliness and support.

Lisa was great to work with very accommodating and helpful with current local events. Great location for trail riding and taking in the beautiful fall colors!

Great home and close to all the trails including ATV which you could ride from home to trails. The home was clean and directions were very good. Totally recommend this cabin!

An amazing experience! It’s a cozy lakefront cabin along Nelson Lake with great views and easy lake access. We kayaked the lake and saw plenty of wildlife. There’s a fire pit which makes for a great night time setting. We had a perfect weekend at the cabin!

Perfect place to get away and relax. We loved the little walk down to the dock on the small, private lake. The fire pit was well thought out and stocked with plenty of wood for tons of s’more’s. Ping pong table was great entertainment. We will be back!

It was the perfect space for a long weekend getaway -- quiet, tranquil, and quaint. Loved the deck overlooking the water and the fire ring with Adirondack chairs available to enjoy the nice evening. The inside space was sufficient for our needs, and good for a night in to watch a movie. Very responsive host that was helpful in resolving any needed elements right away. Easy check in and check out process. Would definitely stay there again :)

We had a very peaceful stay, which is just what we wanted. It’s beautiful there @ Teal lake. Victoria was very, very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely go again.

Great stay, cabin was extremely clean. Kitchen was well stocked and even had a slow cooker and griddle. Spacious outdoors and plenty of space for big kids to play, throw balls. Owner has 3 places next to each other that would be perfect for a group. Will definitely recommend!

Memorial weekend with the family! Had a great time. The house was perfect with lots of charm. Enjoyed days of fishing, kayaking, kids swimming, and just enjoying the view! Made our annual trip up to Hayward which was great as always and only 15 minutes a way! Nights were spent around the fire cooking s’mores, playing Pictionary, and blank slate! Great house and great hosts!

Alexa’s cabin was awesome! Couldn’t ask for a better location as a fisherman who was trying to fish multiple bodies of water. The place has everything you need for an extended stay and the cabin itself was very nice. Alexa was amazing to communicate with, always got back to us promptly with answers.

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

We were in Hayward to ATV. You can ride to the trails from this location. Long circle drive provided easy in/out with trailers and parking. Loved watching the swans from the breakfast nook while drinking coffee. Comfy home

We had a great experience. The house appeared to be new. We were staying there off-season and would love to go back when we could use the lake. Three bedroom and three bathroom was great for everyone. Will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we visit the Hayward area.

Beautiful cabin with a great view looking down on the lake. Public boat landing is only a couple miles away so great for fishing if you plan to do some while you’re there. Cindy was great responded right away when we had any questions. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little get away.

I shared the cabin with a group of girlfriends who were participating in the Ski de She. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate multiple cooks at the same time. There were lots of options for sleeping and all the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and will try to book it again in the future.

Craig and Heidi’s cabin on Connors Lake was a perfect match for our family of 5’s three night stay. Craig and Heidi quickly answered our questions, provided suggestions for ice fishing the lake, and offered an early check-in. The cabin itself was very clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed the view of the lake out the large, two front windows; especially in the morning as the sun created the forest to the East. Our kids enjoyed the guesthouse space when they wanted to relax and watch a movie after a long day out on the ice. We recommend the Flambeau Forest Inn for a Friday fish fry; which is located just down the road! Although our stay landed during the coldest weather of the WI winter, our experience went well! It would also be a great place to be at during the summer months; so we will keep this in mind for future trips to the WI northwoods!

We have been coming up north for 20 years, and this year at LCO was one of our favorite trips. The cabin was perfect and peaceful. I would not hesitate a second to recommend Zach and this perfect cottage to anyone coming to LCO. Whenever I had a question or comment, prompt response was given. Super flexible with us. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience! Great fishing, great family bonding, exceptional memories made all because of the opportunity to stay at this cabin. Will most definitely be back if available again!!
