Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sawmill Settlement

We had a truly memorable stay! The place was incredibly welcoming and thoughtfully put together—every little detail made it feel special. The rooms were super cosy with stunning views all around. Our two kids (ages 5 and 2) had an absolute blast! We were treated to visits from nature right at our doorstep—beautifully coloured parrots, kangaroos, and even deer just steps away. The amenities were ideal for a family getaway: a great collection of board games for the kids, a pool table for family fun, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy, and we especially appreciated the quality pillows—a rare find in most Airbnbs, and so essential for a good night’s sleep. Beattie and Roger were fantastic hosts—very responsive and kind. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. A perfect family retreat!

Very well maintained BnB on Lake Nillahcootie with wonderful views just 15-20min from Mansfield. The property is on a farm with farm animals to look at and paddocks to roam. Walking along the paddocks by the lake was very beautiful. Came here with my family and there was a lot for my toddler to explore. The fireplace with the gate around it was a bonus! The host is very responsive; we had an issue come up during our stay and it was promptly rectified. All in all definitely recommend for a peaceful and beautiful country stay.

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! Jamie and Steph’s place is like a scene from Yellow Stone, the place looks amazing 🤩 in the photos, but it’s even better! In real life. The house is situated and designed to have breath taking views no matter where you are in the house, it’s super clean and superbly functionally organised. Jamie and Steph were quick to respond and gave fabulous recommendations for swimming in the area, my family loved the stay and did not want to go home, neither did our dogs, lol, their is a lot of land, our dogs were in dog heaven being able to roam around the large gated area of the home. We plan to visit here every year, it was that good 😌 you won’t know how good until you actually experience it, you won’t regret it, infact, kinda don’t want everyone to go, then you may get my spot😅 but this place needs to be shared. Hope you have a experience to rave about like we did 😉

By far the best place I've stayed with my family.... EVER ! The view is incredible, the house is stunning, it has everything you possibly need and more !! Being able to launch my boat from the waterfront was amazing and the spa at night under the stars was incredible. The open outdoor fire place was put to good use and we ate outside every night, as the outdoor setting is like Tuscany :) This is oficially my favourite ever AIRBNB. Huge thanks Tania, for sharing this place.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Black Tusk in Merrijig! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautifully the property was presented to us; spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully styled to make you feel right at home. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views and easy access to all the local attractions. Communication by Romy was excellent throughout, and the check-in process was seamless. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend Black Tusk to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Merrijig!

We loved our stay at Politini. Bianca was a very friendly host. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and clean. It is so peaceful sitting out on the deck or relaxing inside with the wood fire heater. It is a perfect spot to explore the King Valley region and wineries. We also enjoyed going to the beautiful scenic Powers Outlook. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay with Melinda at Creekside. The place is cosy and inviting. It is tucked away on the creek - as the name suggests - which provides privacy and is peacefully quiet, yet it is still very close to cafes, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Melinda is a friendly host with great communication. I'd highly recommend anyone to come and stay if you are ever visiting Mansfield. Top notch.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Excellent location just close to ski lifts. Although on the small side, the north facing views over the mountains made the place very light and pleasant to spend time in. Kitchen was well appointed and bathroom was very clean and had ensuite access from the main bedroom. Good heating system, and entry hall able to be turned into a drying room which was a nice touch. Gas log fire was good too. Definitely worth staying in!

Our stay was absolutely perfect and Anton was a great host who was super helpful and responded quickly to messages. Uninterrupted views of the sunrise, super close walk to the tennis courts and not one but three balconies to choose from to admire the view was definitely worth it all.
