As you pull into the driveway this 1885 Victorian towers above you, your mouth drops in awe of the size. Up the porch to enter a small front door, a dimly lit winding staircase creaks as you ascend to 3rd floor. Original architecture painted many times over oozes with history. 70 years ago the house was turned into apartments, unloved for many of those years, time has definately taken its tole, yet to the spirits within, their big old house still stands proud and distinguished in all its glory.

This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

Elena's house in Tiny, ON was exactly what our family + pet was looking for as a weekend getaway close to Toronto! The house and furnishings are new and the house is well-stocked with all the pots/pans, plates, bluetooth speaker, tv, linens, etc. Nice to have a fire pit out back as well! The place is well-situated and close to the provincial park. I highly recommend staying here!

Waterfront Oasis great for Families & Friends

We stayed at Tara's Airbnb for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place, as it's not only beautiful but also managed by Tara, who is a wonderful host. The house is in excellent condition. I like the layout of the rooms. Each floor has two bedrooms on either side, providing ample privacy, while the living room offer plenty of activity space. We spent most of our time on the main floor, playing board games, cooking, and eating. We really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on Georgian Bay. The spacious backyard easily accommodated all 8 of us for a campfire at night, and it's also a great place to watch the sunrise. I really appreciate Tara's heads-up about the A/C not working before the trip, and we agreed on a partial refund before check-in. Fortunately, the weather was not that hot. Thanks to Tara's proactive communication, we minimized the impact of this unexpected issue and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This week we stayed at two places, Fairmont and Tatiana’s cottage and honestly our stay at the cottage was a much lovelier one! The house was beautiful, the decor and attention to detail by the host is amazing as well! Great place for friends to hang or for a family! Amazing for families with children too! Tatiana was also super friendly and amazing to communicate with!

We had such a wonderful time staying at John’s place—it honestly couldn’t have been better. The home was gorgeous, spotless, and felt so warm and inviting. You can tell a lot of care went into making it a space where guests can truly unwind and feel at home. The private pool was a dream. Surrounded by trees and completely peaceful, it felt like our own hidden escape. We spent hours swimming and lounging by the water, and since it was deep enough to dive, it added that extra bit of fun we didn’t expect but absolutely loved. John was an incredible host—super responsive and kind. Any time I had a question, he got back to me right away and made sure everything went smoothly. It was so reassuring to know he was just a message away. If 10 stars were an option, we’d give them in a heartbeat. This stay set the bar so high, and we’re already talking about coming back. Huge thanks to John for making it such a memorable getaway!
