Gîte La Treille, in a very beautiful setting!

Gîte La Treille - you will appreciate our estate and its quiet environment with a view of the body of water. Between St Emilion -Sauternes and Bergerac . 1:30 am from the sea, 1h15 from Bordeaux and 35 mins from Bergerac. Great for a sweet adventure with family or friends. A swimming pool is at your disposal (not attached) - it is shared between the tenants of the 3 summer cottages. We prioritize bookings from Saturday to Saturday. Lovely Country House with Pool

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

Very friendly and helpful hosts-they know the area well and can recommend anything you need. Lovely old building, with a very good kitchen for self-catering and practical house layout. Pool was a huge hit with the kids and the house is well located for trips outside of the town-St Emilion ~45 mins away and Saint Foy has a nice river beach ~25 mins drive away. We had a very good time.
