Family-friendly holiday rentals in Savary Island

It is a lovely place; the Host was very nice and kind enough to show me around the area as it was my first time in Campbell River. the apartment is neat. will stay there over and over again.👌

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Edward & Kira were awesome host with a beautiful home. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot. Great views in a great neighborhood. Edward & Kira were very responsive and when the electricity went out (which happens frequently on Cortes)- they were at the house preparing the generator before we even knew we didn't have electricity. It was a great experience all around.

Absolutely beautiful space, outstanding views! We loved that it was private but close to all amenities. The bedding was so soft and luxurious, the hot tub was an amazing addition! Absolutely will be back.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

This place is exactly what it looks online. Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, beside the water and a cosy cottage with everything you need. Cathy was a responsive host and we cannot wait to come back!

We only had a short stay but the space had everything we needed. Tracy was super responsive. The House was quiet and easy to get in.

This is the second time for us in this Airbnb. We loved it the first time so wanted to go back. Favourites things are the location right on the water, eagles, turkey vulture, hawks flying overhead. Dolphins out front. Cruise ships sailing by. Kitchen is fantastic. Could cook Thanksgiving dinner there it is so well equipped. We are on a four stop tour, staying at airbnb’s at each location. We should have planned more days here!

Always a great stay here. A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a nice grassy lawn for my dog. Gale was so friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Was lovely to have coffee and eggs and cream and croissants for breakfast. Just outside of town so was peaceful and quiet but an easy drive in.

We had a great experience. We liked our cabin and everything about it. Wifi was a 5 minute walk, as well as bell cell service. It was a nice experience to be off our phones and tablets. We feasted on raw oysters and oyster rockefeller. Our hosts were awesome. The view of the ocean from the cabin is now blocked by trees. Definitely want to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s Air Bnb. It is in a very central location with many walkable amenities. It is very well stocked - all the kitchen utensils needed, as well as plenty of linens. The place was comfortable and picturesque. We would definitely come back!

Perfect for my trip to Cumberland! Dave & Maggy's place was the ideal spot for visiting town. Right next to trails and main street. It is a very private room with everything you need. Spacious area and very comfortable. I loved my stay and will definitely try to come back. Highly recommended! They are great hosts.

Another month at what we’ve come to know as our second home. We’ve been renting this place, almost continuously since 2017. There’s a unique advantage to that. We get to see all the changes and improvements Danielle and Mark make every year. The place just gets better and better. If you enjoy cooking, this place is a must. This is one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever cooked in, better than mine and I’m a trained cook. Beyond that, every detail in the home has been thought through and nothing is missing. Danielle and Mark are great hosts who communicate well and can handle any situation with ease.

My husband and I had a weeklong retreat at Liz & Dean’s property. It really was idyllic and just what we needed. The tiny house is situated in beautiful oasis. Even though it is situated in the same yard as the main house, it felt private and peaceful. Liz was exceptionally responsive to every question I asked and provided detailed instructions and tons of local information. Homemade granola was in the cupboard and one day we were even treated to one of Liz’s delicious fruit galette. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, from every type of coffee making equipment imaginable, to a cookie sheet and casserole. I was able to cook several meals and even did a bit of baking. The location was close to the grocery store, local market on Thursday and the farmer’s market on Saturday, and was a short drive to Helliwell Park and Tribune Bay. We are already planning for our next retreat to Liz and Dean’s property.

Had a great stay! Everything about the place from cleanliness to the beautiful view was amazing. The bed was comfy and the place is perfect for two people. Tanya was always responsive when we had any questions. We saw sea lions one night too! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy spot with views. Will definitly be back!

First, the pictures really didn't do the place justice. You are in a cabin, perched on the bluffs, with spectacular views of Trbune Bay, surrounding Gulf Island. That amazing view is from all four bedrooms, two decks, and the living/kitchen area. There is never a reason to close the curtains since no one can see into your location. Secondly, the cabin has modern features. As someone who has been up to Hornby for 36 years, staying at the same family friend's cabin with an outhouse and no potable water, this place was nice. It has two bathrooms with flushable toilets, showers and sinks. Also, the water is drinkable, there is reasonable cell reception and the cabin has WIFI. It is walkable to big tribune bay, the COOP and shops. Third, well stocked kitchen should you need anything while cooking. Fourth, just realize it's chique for Hornby....not Miami. The are some minor maintenance issues but only if you are looking. Lastly, don't bring the Lambo as the driveway is bumpy, tight, long

Rosanne and her partner were amazing hosts right from booking and throughout our stay. They went above and beyond. Safe & friendly neighbourhood with all amenities within walking distance. Would stay again the next time I’m in Campbell River and would highly recommend to others.

Highly recommend!! The house is stunning and the garden is equally beautiful and well maintained! It is spacious and very quiet in the forest. The beds are confortable and the house is overall very cozy. Maria is a very thoughtful host. We had a great time!
