Lukas was on top of the check-in communications and general info... very responsive host. The Garden Cottage was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We had 2 adults and 3 teen girls stay here for just a couple nights to head to Mackinac. It was a pristine clean place. One girl slept on the couch but they did have a trundle bed in the bunk bed room. The directions in the book on the counter varied slightly from the Airbnb instructions. They were very thoughtful to put out a few snacks and waters to. They also put out a coupon for a local restaurant but we didn't get a chance to use it. It was a great touch. It was warm one night we stayed. I wish there was a fan or two to help cool it down. Instead I put the window up in the bedroom but it got noisy from the road. We did find later a window fan that we could have put in but then that would only help one bedroom. It was really close to the boats to Mackinac. It was a little hard to find at first. Maybe a pic of the front would help. In the end, we really enjoyed it and it worked out pretty well for our short stay.

Our weekend stay was perfect. The accommodations were just as described. We slept very well and will definitely book here again.

The accommodations at this stay was exactly as advertised, right on the shore of beautiful Lake Superior!! We boated from the marina to Pancake Bay, dropped anchor along the way and enjoyed natures landscape, caught the sunset each night out on the water which was spectacular. Although we were close to SSM (25 min) it felt like we were in a different province. The host was polite, helpful and generous, including offering to lend us a life jacket to keep us safe - as we had forgotten one. If you have a boat or not - and want to enjoy a relaxing time out, I recommend a visit to this Marina - and bring your boat!

We found this Airbnb on short notice. It was easy to book, easy to find, and in a great location. We loved the proximity to the ferrys that go to Mackinac Island as well as other attractions we went to. The house was spacious, had everything we needed for 3 kids and had a great view of the straits. We would recommend Sara's to anyone who is looking for a fun spot to stay in the upper peninsula, and we would love you come back! Thanks, Tom

Beautiful view of the water! Close to many good restaurants & shops. This room is connected to an inn, and the large, shared deck is connected to the bedroom and living room. There could be noise from other guests while you are there. The entrance is next to the lobby with the vending machine, so again- the other guests will be nearby. We enjoyed exploring the area… beautiful location!

Great place to stay in a beautiful area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Sara (Owner) was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The condo was clean and was the perfect size for a group of five.

We had the pleasure of staying with Tina last summer, and we were more than happy to come here again! It is a lovely little apartment, very clean, and close to everything you may need. Would happily stay here again!

It was a great second time I’ve stayed here. If I have one complaint it is that the couch is uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

This truly is a 5 star stay! It was convenient to the ferry and walkable to most of the things we wanted to do and see. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay. The bakery downstairs was a wonderful bonus with everyone being very friendly and helpful. Ryan’s place was very clean, comfortable beds and linens! So nice to have great coffee in the morning. It was close to where we wanted to go in the Soo. We will stay again.

Cathy's older style vacation house was great for us. It was clean, had all the amenities, very comfortable beds and it was quiet. Cathy and her daughter gave us suggestions of sites to see including waterfalls and beautiful views. We had a good time finding the falls and exploring. Plus the view of Lake Superior right across the street with the sun and the mountains was a great view while relaxing on the deck. If it wasn't so far from home, we would return often.

Nice little place to stay! We got in late which made getting in interesting with what door to enter but it was nice overall! We would stay again!

We enjoyed staying here. It’s a short 10 min walk to the Mackinaw Ferry. The house is old but very clean.

This place was amazing! Excellent place for swimmers to stay with direct access to Lake Huron. The property is beautiful and clean. Comfortable swing down by the water is very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

This air bnb blew me away based on price and location. Only a few minutes away from mackinaw city’s main strip and shelpers day lot it is a steal. The room was clean and had lost of space for 2-4 people. A plethora of towels and soap for the bathroom incase you forgot to bring your own. The couch folds out into a lazy boy bed with a mounted smart tv on a swing arm on adjacent wall. Bed was very comfortable with blankets for any weather. Ac was functional and made room cool within 10 minutes. Shower had good pressure and stayed hot for multiple showers. Ample parking for any guests as well. Disregard other negative reviews. There were no bad smells in the place and you can barely hear the cars from the highway. The grill and fire pit also looked very nice even though I didn’t use either myself. You truly cannot go wrong with choosing this as your place to stay for general vacation or a trip to Mackinac Island. 11/10

Such sweet hosts! The lake was relaxing, and we loved waking up early to have coffee and watch the sunrise on the lake. We had our one year old with us, and it wasn’t difficult at all to quickly baby proof things (not a lot of knickknacks, crazy things in drawers or glass furniture, etc.). She loved running around the big yard. Perfect home base to see everything in the area, and it was the perfect size for our family of three plus grandma.
