Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sauda Municipality

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Vikedal. This was, without doubt, one of the most pleasant vacations we ever spent. Not only because of the location and surroundings, but also because of your friendly and warm welcome.

We had a great time in the cabin of Heidi and Tor Arne. It is beautifully located and has a great hiking trail next to it. The cabin is nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. The communication was very friendly and Heidi's recommendations for activities in the neighborhood were great. We can highly recommend this cabin.

Vi hadde et helt fantastisk opphold på tinghuset. Fantastisk beliggenhet, vi fikk muligheten til å bade fra bryggen og sole oss. Det var kort vei til Rosendal. Vi kommer absolutt tilbake til denne plassen. Tusen takk for oss.

God plass, kjekt for barn. og trivelig vertskap. Anbefales :)

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Haus am Fjord und sind genauso begeistert wie bei unserem ersten Urlaub hier. Das Haus ist wirklich etwas besonderes. So nah am Wasser kennen wir keine andere Unterkunft. Der Fjord ist jeden Tag anders. Selbst an regnerischen Tagen ist es wunderschön. Gemütliche Wohnzimmer, perfekt ausgestattete Küche und Sauna garantieren perfekten Urlaub auch wenn das Wetter launisch ist. Wir haben viele fische gefangen, im Fjord gebadet, gewandert, Unmengen Beeren gesammelt und SUP gefahren. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit 😁

Flott hus med nydelig utsikt over fjorden. Stille og fredelig. Koselig vertinne som gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha et flott opphold.

Beautiful location with unique home. Few quirks in the home but that is part of the charm. They communicated well and fixed a few maintenance issues very quickly. The views from the home and the surrounding area are so beautiful.

What a beautiful peaceful place. Eivind and Signe-Britt could not have been more welcoming to us and a huge help with our genealogy questions. We brought my parents to Norway for their 60th anniversary and was hopeful we’d find an approximate area of where my dads family lived. Thanks to Eivind we found so much more. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Wygodny apartament w przepięknej okolicy

Vi hadde et flott opphold hos Hilmar! Han var en veldig hyggelig og informativ vert som tok seg god tid til å vise oss rundt i leiligheten. Den var kjekk og koselig, med alt vi trengte for et komfortabelt opphold. En ekstra bonus var den lille terrassen i hagen med stoler og bord, perfekt for å nyte ettermiddagssolen. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Wir haben uns sehr zuhause gefühlt. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit einem sehr schönen Garten und einem malerischen Ausblick. Wir hatten glücklicherweise perfekten Sonnenschein sodass wir Ausblick und Sonne ausgiebig genossen haben. Es ist sogar eine Waschmaschine sowie Wäscheständer vorhanden, neben einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch der riesige Fernseher lädt zum Ausklingen des Abends auf der Couch ein. Eine sehr tolle Unterkunft und ein gut erreichbarer sowie freundlicher Gastgeber. Loved this place, we even extended our stay. First we were hesitant to book because we didn’t have our own bedding, but after texting with Kristen he recommended a cheap place to get some linen. Which was totally worth it! The bed was big and comfy, however too soft for my BF. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you’ll need. Water pressure in the shower is otherworldly lol (in a good way). The views of the mountains from the balcony and kitchen table are incredible. We loved the concept of cleaning the apartment for the next guests, felt like a real Airbnb. Also all the personal stuff of Kristen and fam made it feel right at home.

We had a lovely time and the hosts were super helpful and friendly :)

Die Unterkunft liegt gut erreichbar an einer Hauptstraße. Von den Auto hört man in der Wohnung bei geschlossenen Fenster nur noch ein leises Rauschen. Nachts fahren dort wenige Auto. Man kann vor der Tür parken. Die Wohnung war anfangs etwas kühl. Sie hat sich dann über die erste Nacht aufgewärmt. Die Wohnung war sauber. Reinigung nimmt jeder bei Verlassen selbst vor. Bettwäsche und Handtücher bringt man auch selber mit. Optional konnte man den Service auch dazu buchen. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben lediglich keinen Föhn gefunden. Aus dem Fenster hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Wasserfall. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung war gut und bequem.

Très bel environnement. Spacieux et confortable. Très calme. Nous avons bien dormi.

Nydelig leilighet. Ryddig og ren. God kommunikasjon og vi fant lett frem til leiligheten. Hatt noen fine dager.
