Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

The appartment is spacious and beautiful, we had some trouble with the water caused by a general problem, but the host helped us super quickly and kept us well informed, would 100% recommend :)

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

This is a unique place with a lot of history. The kitchen cute and spacious. The porch is the best part of the house. We saw sunrise and sunset. Beautiful. I love the view from the bedroom. The hospitality made our stay easy and fun. Panos helped us get drivers and gave us directions and restaurant reviews.

Thank you Ioannis for your hospitality and kindness. Very nice and well-equipped house. Shaded terrace with a very nice lemon tree. The house cat welcomes you when you return from your walks. The donkey Penelope is very appreciated when the boat arrives. We hope she has been able to put it down since we left.

Just wonderful! The house is very convenient, arranged with great taste and care. There are numerous books and music to dive into. The kitchen provides everything - it is equipped like our kitchen at home. The view from this upper village of Tyros is breathtaking combining sea and steep mountain slopes. A car to get there is recommended. Host Ilias is very accomodating and polite, at the same time practical and discreet. We enjoyed our stay there very much and will certainly come back. This days we stayed at Nektaria’s place were magical… The place is beautiful, had everything you need, clean, well decorated… it felt unreal to be honest! Nektaria gave us really good tips, she is a fantastic host! We had 3 small kids with us that had the time of their life in the swimming pool and beach. It felt very private and comfortable, exactly what we needed. I hope to come back as soon as possible, as this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed. Thank you Nektaria, for everything.

Too short a stay of a week at the end of May, the house is so comfortable that it was difficult to get out of it to visit the wonderful surrounding archaeological sites. Thank you Sophia for your responsiveness, the multiple attentions, your welcome basket… The house is very well equipped, everything is thought out so that we feel at home and the decoration is neat. The small village 5 minutes away where the shops are open with very long hours. In summary, an address to remember.

What an amazing apartment. Fantastic location with stunning views, yet very private - no one else was in the complex while we were there. Lots of facilities; the big barbecue and pool were our absolute favourite. 😉 Panos was a great host - very quick to respond and shares tips for places to see and restaurants. Just make sure to bring enough mosquito repellent, if you don’t want to end up as insect dinner.

We had a great stay with 4 adults, 2 dogs and a baby. The house (and garden and pool) is mega well maintained and super clean. Antonis sent cozy voice messages in advance with clear instructions and his mother received us well before the check-in time (this was not a problem). If there was anything, we could go to them all the stay and we were even surprised again with delicious fresh rolls. We went to Athens for 1 day, which was easy to do with a car. Furthermore, there is not much (in the low season) to experience in the area, but since the house is so nice, that doesn't have to be at all. Great stay!

This was really a little bit of paradise by the sea! The views were fantastic, the whole place tranquil, perfect for some rest and relaxation. There is such a wonderful housekeeper who went out of her way to make sure we were happy, yet not intrusive. Eleni was also always communicating efficiently and effectively through Airbnb. We were slightly out of season, so the swimming pool was not in use, but that was no problem as the sea is right there and beautifully clear and warm in October! The water jetty was perfect for us to catch a taxi over to Spetses for dinner, what an experience!

We stayed here for 8 days in May. Very great, as shown in the photos. Great location and views. Proximity to restaurants and bars on the beach and small shops, easy to walk, about 15 min. The landlord is very attentive, very helpful with any question that might arise. There was already a lot of meals and drinks available to welcome you. The house is nicely simply decorated and modern. Very good mattresses in the beds. Garden, terraces. Pool, outdoor shower. Shadow parking. Price acceptable to me in the preseason. Due to the grounds, you should be safe on foot and pay some attention, cameras, order outside makes staff daily.

We had a wonderful few days stay, fantastic area super central easy to walk to fabulous restaurants and bars and our hosts were great with our flexible check in due to a late flight! Beautiful views well kitted out stay comfy beds and breathtaking views… what else do you need in this fabulous city ❤️

What an amazing place to stay!! It is incredible, clean and with a stunning view!! Everything was amazing, the communication with Eleanna was easy and her parents are very friendly and ready to help anytime. It’s walkable and very close to the centre (10minutes walking) and I definitely recommend it and will be back for sure!!

A spacious, quiet and convenient apartment walkable to everything Athens has to offer. Peter was kind, helpful and always responsive. His instructions and information were as clear as I have ever known. He even helped us find a taxi for our onward journey - nothing was too much trouble. There are some reviews which criticise the area, but we beg to differ. OK, it’s what you might expect in the middle of a big city, but set right by the National Theatre we felt safe, secure and relaxed at all times. The apartment was big, and has a terrific view. It was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Thanks Peter - we’ll be back!

Great views, beautiful apartment, responsive host. Worked well for my family including an infant and my mother, with elevator access and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out and avoid the heat and crowds in the city in the afternoons.

Loved my stay here. It was adorable and had no problems. Was showed around the home by the housekeeper, who was very sweet and even left me with a snack! It has a beautiful view of the sunset and the clock tower. Would highly recommend to anyone and would stay here again. It’s also close to the port if you don’t mind walking or a quick taxi away! Nice, simple apartment with an amazing view.

We had a fantastic stay! Ilias and Argyro were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Hydra itself is beyond charming! Up on a hill and a little removed from the congestion of the town, the house is quiet and comfortable. It’s an historic home that has been renovated, and the quality of the construction is very impressive - as is all the artwork! Our one challenge was the WiFi was not working in the unit, which was a problem as we are remote workers. Ilias graciously walled off a large section of the house upstairs for our use immediately adjacent to a second network router, but even there network speeds weren’t great - 10 to 15mps (a small fraction of what we are accustomed to). So as much as we enjoyed the home, the town and our hosts, we would be a little reluctant to offer a full throated endorsement for digital nomads. Vacationers should definitely come! Remote employees? Maybe…

The apartment is just as described. It had everything we needed. There was some coffee for the Nespresso machine and ground coffee. We ran out of Nespresso pods after the first day, but the full service grocery store is only a 4 minute walk. We did not do any cooking so I can’t comment about that aspect. The bathroom isn’t big but works fine. Plenty of water pressure for the shower. The rain shower head tilts which I really liked. It was very quiet despite being on a busy street. It’s across from a school so nothing goes on at night. The balcony was perfect for 2 people. It’s on the 2nd floor (3rd if you’re from the US) but has lift about 4-5 steps up from the entrance. Lucas was a great and timely communicator. We would definitely come back and stay here.
