We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at the place. Everything was well arranged, the instructions were clear. Our favorite was definitely the terrace, perfectly equipped for resting. The host is very responsive and proactive in their efforts. We enjoyed it. There are 2 good restaurants nearby and in the evening, it's dead quiet. I recommend the place without hesitating!

Isabel is an extremely warm and welcoming host—she gave great recommendations and was so friendly!! The location is great and the backyard pool is amazing!!!

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would come back.

We stayed in Rafaels villa for a month, and we would return in a heartbeat. Our stay felt like home from home. The villa is spotless and beautifully decorated with everything we needed (no feedback required), and the garden is the perfect private and peaceful place to relax (Pics do not do justice). Great location with restaurants, and supermarkets a short stroll away, and the marina and Albufeira town a very short drive. Our host was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond with tips, guidance and thought we were crazy with the amount we used his bikes. A definite recommendation if you manage to get availability.

We were overwhelmed by the accommodation! Everything was very clean, the amenities were great, we didn't miss anything! The outdoor area is the highlight from our point of view, a beautiful pool with two cozy loungers, the ambience outside is wonderful and beautifully decorated. We were able to relax superbly! The communication was also very good and very courteous. Absolutely recommended!

Karen and Jürgen are certainly among the most welcoming people I've ever met via Airbnb, it's the opposite of all these vacation home factories that clutter this website now! Here, the place is magical, quiet and inspiring, it really was a pleasure to discover this little house and we hope to come back as soon as possible. Karen and Jürgen, in addition to being friendly and welcoming, are people with a great sense of humor and it's very much appreciated. Thanks again for our stay!! PS: Don't listen to Waze to get there, and instead read the instructions they'll send you by .pdf this will save you from getting lost in the pampas, finally Jürgen will be happy to explain everything to you while joking about our adventure ;-)

Monte West Coast’s Casa da Gaiola is a gem. Beautiful grounds and very close to the nearby beaches and towns. Quiet and pleasant. Catarina is an amazing host and anyone would be lucky to experience this place.

The villa is exactly as shown in the pictures - beautiful and very well maintained. We were particularly impressed by the fantastic view of the mountains and the wonderful pool, ideal for cooling off. The beach can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, by car it takes a few minutes. Communication was always fast and helpful, check-in even worked smoothly at 2 a.m. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Cate and Robin and spending a few days in their home! They’re both such warm-hearted people and made us feel welcome right away. Vila Tranquila is truly a beautiful place, and we’d love to come back someday. The pictures just can’t capture how beautiful it really is. The house is stunning – you can really tell how much work and love Cate and Robin have put into it. It’s got everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is like a little peaceful oasis, with a lovely view over the landscape and the river. We barely got any reading done because it was so nice just to sit there, take it all in, and listen to the birds. There’s also a little path leading down to the river, which is another great spot to hang out and even take a dip in the water. It was honestly such a great experience – our only regret is not staying longer! We’d love to come back… and maybe have a round of Kniffel with you two!

Lovely house, made with love and furnished. Beautiful colors. Nice and quiet, beautiful garden and a cozy little village nearby with a nice beach. We have extended our stay by 2 nights extra.

We were able to spend a 10-day vacation here at the end of May. The accommodation is (together with 2 neighboring apartments left and right) quietly secluded, all around there are only fields, no other houses in the immediate vicinity, there are sheep and a kitten - an absolute dream! Fernanda brought us fresh, delicious strawberries from her own harvest. Communication was impeccable at all times. A wonderful natural beach with great cliffs is "right around the corner" by car and we could even swim and kayak in the adjacent river. The sunsets are spectacular. 10 minutes from the accommodation is the village of Rogil, where the traditional Portuguese dessert "Pastel de Batata Doce" (delicious!!!!) originates. The apartment is superbly equipped, we lacked nothing and we felt very comfortable. Only the exhaust air in the windowless bathroom could work better. Thanks for the great time at your place! :-)

The Lemon Lodge is tucked away in the mountains, providing a lovely and peaceful retreat away from the main bustle. That serenity comes with the trade-off of being a nice drive away from town up some challenging roads but you can get the hang of it after once or twice. Definitely need a rental car, mid-size is even better. The house itself is stunning and really well designed. Kitchen has everything you need. We cooked a lot on the grill in the back. Would have liked screens on the windows to let some fresh air in, as bugs up there can be tricky.

Lagos was a beautiful place and this Airbnb made exploring it easy. The location is ideal and the street is quiet. The apartment looks like the photos and was well decorated but without clutter, and comfortable. It was very clean which is so important to me. Hosts were extremely responsive and kind from start to finish. Easy checkin with lockbox. Would recommend to others.

I love this flat! I spent February here working online & I had a fantastic stay. The flat gets quite cold & heating was a bit annoying at times (I had to buy my own wood, luckily I had a car; getting the fire properly started took quite a while), but other than that I highly recommend staying here. The flat feels, despite being small, spacious and cozy. The kitchen is minimal but modern & had everything I needed for simple cooking. The bathroom is tiny but the shower isn’t :) the sunny terrace was a godsend - being able to soak up some sun warmth between calls without having to leave the house was much appreciated. I loved going to bed upstairs, it felt like a separate room & had treehouse vibes (just remember to duck). The internet connection was stable & decent, I had video calls without any problems (I brought a cable). Andreia is responsive and helpful. I loved staying here & would def come back! But if you get cold then I recommend bringing a hot water bottle and slippers :)

Susanna is an extremely friendly, wonderful host who always responded quickly to our messages. The apartment is wonderfully clean and very nicely decorated. The location is very very quiet with a great atmosphere that it is in the middle of a very nice rural area. Dear Susanna, Thank you very much for everything and we will be happy to come back.

Sandras place was amazing, its right on the beach and a 30 second walk to the restaurants. It was amazing waking up each morning to the sound of the sea, the place has 3 terraces that you can lounge on and the view from the hot tub on the roof is one not to miss. The kitchen is well layed out with all you need if you want to cook. Sandra was very helpful via text if we ever needed her and she gave us recommendations of where to eat etc. We will be returning to stay again for sure.

We (2 friends) spent 3 nights in the small cottage in the middle of the Village. We walked the fisherman's trail beforehand and enjoyed our 3 remaining vacation days very much. We especially liked dinner and breakfast in the courtyard. Thanks for the wonderful time.

We had such a wonderful stay at monte do Galo, in the amazing valley near Aljezur. The natural surroundings were absolutely stunning,birdsong in the morning, silence at night and wide open views that helped us completely unwind from our busy city lives. João was a fantastic host: kind, welcoming, and full of great tips about the area like best spot for surfing, restaurants etc. His sweet dog was a big hit with our kids! The house itself was cozy and full of charm and fully equipped. Every morning we woke up to breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and recharge. Thank you so much for everything João. We truly felt at home here and would love to come back again soon!

We were able to relax immediately in the beautiful ambience. There are many nice little places nearby, good restaurants and great hiking opportunities, among other things, on the coast and in the cork forests. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, well equipped and sparkling clean. Antje and Reiner welcomed us warmly and were also great hosts. Thank you, happy to come back!
