Holiday rentals with a hot tub in São Miguel Island

We had a great time at Claudia's place. The place is beautiful and very well kept. Claudia recommended some really nice places and the location is ideal for visiting the whole west of the island. 🥰❤️🙏🏾

Manuel and his son Vasco welcomed us the day of our arrival. Vasco was in contact before we arrived and had ensured that we were well informed about how to get there, if we were okay with a self-check in, what we might like to see and do during our stay. The house was immaculately clean, with all that you might need for your stay, from condiments in the press, to a welcome basket of milk, bread and goodies, to shower and beach towels and toiletries. While you hear every plane landing and taking off this mostly happens during the day, you also hear the birds in the morning and evening. The house is situated at the edge of the city and you are a short walk into the countryside. There's a stunning cliff walk 20mins from the house where you can either walk to the village at the of the base of the cliff or along the top. Lynda's coffee shop is a minutes walk away and we loved having our coffee in the morning sitting outside looking out to sea. You'll need a car to explore all the island.

Monica is very attentive, checked in regularly during our stay and moved quickly to resolve a small problem. The accommodation is spacious, very clean, very well equipped and located in a quiet area. Monica welcomes us with a small basket filled with local products. The accommodation is well located for visiting the west of the island of Sao Miguel.

We had an incredible time staying at Casa da Praia dos Moinhos; the property was so beautiful, the description and images from the listing perfectly matched our experience, and the location was gorgeous and serene. Our hosts Luis & Ines were incredibly responsive & kind. We will definitely return here on our next trip to the Azores!

We had a lovely stay at Dave's place. The village was welcoming, and we felt a part of the community for the short time we were in Pedreira. We especially enjoyed the views, the cats, and the nearby hikes. Dave offered helpful suggestions and tips, and even offered some cold drinks also. The hot tub was just perfect after hiking. We hope to return at some point.

Paulo was an amazing host. The property is beautiful and clearly handled with love and care. The views are stunning. From one side there is an ocean view and the other, a countryside view. Everything was clean and we had ample supplies. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Parking was across the street and very easy. Paulo is super responsive. I got sick and couldn’t find a pharmacy open as it was Sunday. He was at our door within 20 mins with a few options of medicine. I took it and was feeling better within 30 mins. The island was beautiful and if we return, we will definitely be staying with Paulo!

Everything is impeccable. Vítor responds promptly and communicates during the stay in case we need anything. Right in front of the corner of the pier, there's a wonderful fish sauce. Thank you!

A perfect space for two couples to enjoy a comfortable space and a good central location on the island to experience and explore. We enjoyed relaxed evenings in the hot tub! Joao was a lovely and responsive host and went the extra mile for us to be comfortable.

We stayed for over a week with 6 adults and 2 babies. The rooms were perfect size for travel cots and beds were comfortable. Large indoor and outdoor dinning tables made it easy for us to all eat together. The kids loved the enclosed outdoor space and the toys (small water pool, rakes ect.). Quiet at night and close enough to downtown (5 min drive) for groceries and other activities. Very responsive hosts with clear communication. Would recommend especially for larger groups!

Monica was the perfect host! The setting is private and very peaceful. Our family of 5 had an amazing stay! Do not miss breakfast! Monica shares local options and it’s served in a beautiful room overlooking the property. The pool and hot tub were nice to relax in after a day of hiking. Monica shares restaurants and things to see/do!

Laura and her husband are gems. They do their best to ensure that their guests can enjoy Sao Miguel as well as the attractions and restaurants, weather site and live cameras of the different places to visit They are very responsive. We were stuck outside because we had the keys inside and in less than 5 minutes Laura's husband was there. In addition, you are greeted by a gargantuan basket filled with goodies. The house is faithful to the description and photos. The bedding is really of very good quality. It is quiet despite the roadside (a little traffic at 8:00 a.m.) and remains safe for children. We only had breakfast and therefore did not cook (except eggs and fruit salads...) The location is very good for discovering the island. Furnas and Nordeste are 45 minutes away by car even if they are on the other side. The airport is 15 minutes away. In short, we were delighted and recommend this house without hesitation!

Vila Vista Vale was so beautiful! We felt like we had a whole resort to ourselves! The garden and pool were amazing! It was so nice to have outdoor spaces to eat or enjoy our coffee. The pool was such a fun place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome basket was so thoughtful! We were able to walk to the parks and hot springs, the store and the restaurants. It was also a great location for driving to enjoy the nearby sites like the beach and the tea plantation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting an awesome home base for the island of Sao Miguel. Raul was very responsive to my messages and proactive to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible!

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.

Joao’s place is perfect for families and big groups. We stayed for one week as a group of 6 (plus 1 baby) and we all felt right at home! The house is comfortable, clean, and cozy. Joao is an amazing host, very responsive and very kind. He definitely made sure to accommodate our group in the best possible way. This was our first time in Sao Miguel and we are already looking forward to our next trip and staying here again! I highly recommend Joao’s property.

The place was nicely modern and clean. Everything was very nicely designed and well stocked. When entering, be aware that it is very narrow, and a smaller car is beneficial. The garden is large with various plants and trees and a hot tub where you can relax superbly. There was also a welcome greeting on arrival and we immediately felt comfortable.
