Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in São Miguel Island

Check in was easy, as followed instructions given. Very noisy from airport (didn’t realise how close we were when booking). The apartment was perfect for my mum and I, one bed and used sofa bed. Would recommend if you have a hire car like us as we drove into town and everywhere else, not the best if you need to use taxi/ bus etc to get around

Beautiful location. Sea view. Big sliding glass doors and wonderful black out blinds. Brilliant shower. Gualter and his wife were perfect hosts, helping with local convenient car hire and taxi too. Always there to help make the trip smooth and special. Great hosts, great apartment, great location. There are sea water swimming pools within 5 minutes walk! We loved this.

Impecável, estrutura muito bem projetada. Decoração linda, vista maravilhosa do jardim e privilégio de ver os aviões decolando pela proximidade do aeroporto. Proprietário muito educado, e Sofia muito solicita com as nossas necessidades. Proporcionaram um Check in flexível que foi um grande diferencial. Todos os utensílios de cozinhas disponíveis pra todas as necessidades. Amei e super recomendo.

L’accès à la piscine de l’hôtel (intérieur chauffée) et extérieur non chauffée se fait en traversant la cour. Hôtel propose petit déjeuner 17€/adulte 13€/enf Hôtel Spa propose massages et autres sur réservation Restaurant dans l’hôtel Le tout est plutôt très propre et beau Parking vidéo surveille et privé à l’hôtel Les + : Balcon sympa avec vue piscine Appartement spacieux L’accès à la piscine, sauna hammam,salle de sport compris dans le tarifs Dosette de café offert à l’accueil de l’hôtel tout les jours ( sur demande) Prêt de serviette de bain à la réception (sur demande) Rangements suffisants Les moins : Sel,poivre,vinaigre,huile : la base quand une cuisine est à disposition selon moi L’humidité PERSISTANTE Pas de fauteuil dans la chambre (rajouterai du charme) Decoration un peu froide

The apartment belongs to a series of apartments under the management of a 4-star hotel. The checkin was done at the hotel lobby which turned out to be really helpful, as the staff did everything for us to have a smooth experience. The apartment was clean and it had good amenities, although we only spent one night and didn't make full use of it. The apartment provided us with a restful night. Since it's part of the hotel, we also had the option to use the hotel facilities. The hotel had an interior pool and small spa that we really enjoyed, since it was a bit cold outside. It turned out to be a great experience for us. The location is peaceful, but it doesn't have a lot of services nearby. The hotel has a restaurant and bar that we didn't check out, although the breakfast seemed to be a bit expensive (17.5€ each person). The village of Capelas seems to be a bit larger and you may find more places to eat and shop there if you need.

joli appartement, spacieux, bien aménagé et extrêmement propre. Le quartier est calme et prôche de tout (bus, magasins, centre, mer). Le contact avec le propriétaire s'est très bien passé.

This place was walking distance from the beginner surf spot. Would recommend a car/scooter regardless of where you stay on the island. This place had a nice garage to use and was easy to drive in any direction and easy to return home. I would highly recommend this place for and island adventure HQ or surfing HQ

We had a delightful stay at your place, and we’re so grateful for your warm hospitality and quick responses. The apartment itself felt like a dream home: spacious, warm, and full of light. We particularly loved the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a breeze and enjoyable. The proximity to the ocean and the lovely terrace were fantastic. Additionally, the grounds of the complex were expansive and lush, which we really enjoyed. A special thank you for the regular cleaning service and the thoughtful treats provided by the hosts, which made us feel extra welcome. Just a couple of small notes for future improvements: there’s a slight musty smell, particularly around items stored under the bed that might need airing out. Also, the water in the shower takes a while to heat up and the pressure drops after a few minutes, requiring a bit of waiting. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we look forward to the opportunity to visit again. Thank you so much!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Marina Mar II. Der Check-In war super einfach und die Unterkunft sehr geräumig. Den Strand und den Hafen konnte man gut zu Fuß erreichen. Olga hat uns alle Fragen zeitnah und freundlich beantwortet☺️

This was our first time in the Azores and split our trip in two parts - the first part in Ponta Delgada to get a feel for the city and we picked the perfect location for sure. Walkable to all the sites, free parking lot very close by, prefect restaurants in the neighburhood (must go to Nonna's teeth pizza and the Han Table Korean BBQ were fantastic) and having security keypad for entry was prefect as we could split up and not wonder who had the key. Will definitely recommend to others and was perfect for ur family of 4 ( two grown children) but could work for 2-3 couples as well travelling together. Thanks for the beautiful accommodations! Rick

We had an amazing stay at Mitche and Kurt’s beautiful home. The house is absolutely stunning — thoughtfully and tastefully designed, with a remarkable attention to detail. You can really feel the care and love that went into creating this space. The view is simply breathtaking, and waking up to it each day was an experience in itself. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need — it truly felt like nothing was missing. Mitch, Kurt, and their wonderful team were kind, responsive, and helpful from the very beginning. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special. This is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. We’d love to return one day — highly recommended!

Paulo nos ha ayudado cada día a planear nuestro itinerario según el tiempo cambiante de la isla, toda la familia siempre predispuesta a ayudar. Los plátanos de sus plantaciones siempre a mano, y con la compañía de sus mascotas. Disfrutamos de las cenas en la terraza, y la ubicación, es muy cómoda por su proximidad al aeropuerto y los diferentes puntos de interés de la isla

Uns hat der Aufenthalt hier sehr gefallen. Die Tipps für Unternehmungen waren besonders hilfreich. Als einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses anzumerken.

Rui is an amazing host. Did not have the situation required Rui’s attention, however overall was great. Would recommend the place to stay indeed! Rui is a super responsive host to fix anything upon the request) 10 out of 10

Zameldowanie przebiegło sprawnie, przywitall nas gospodarze oraz dwa urocze pieski i kotek :) pokój był czysty i dobrze przygotowany na nasz przyjazd. Paulo i Berta to bardzo mili i pomocni gospodarze. Paulo chętnie opowiedział nam o miejscach na wyspie, które warto zobaczyć. Polecamy!
