Apartment holiday rentals in São Jorge

We had a great stay in this small apartment overlooking the Pico! Location is central and quiet, and Franziska was really a great host with us, very available: everything was perfect ☀️

Communication with Luis was great! We were delayed with our ferry and he stayed up late to welcome us! And on the day of departure, we were able to check out flexibly 2 hours later, which was great! The apartment was clean, well equipped and within walking distance of the harbor. We strongly recommend a car or scooter on the island :)

We had a great time and you will feel right at home in this freshly renovated, thoughtfully furnished and lovingly decorated place! The hosts will go out of there way to arrange everything to make you feel comfortable - if you need anything, they will be happy to help. The village where the Airbnb is located - Santo Amaro - is approx. a 45 minute drive away from the airport and in my opinion very well suited as a starting point to explore the island. There even are a couple of hiking paths nearby! I can fully recommend this place and will surely have an eye on this Airbnb if I ever come back :)

Very nice and modern apartment. Very good location to start various activities. Immediately near a large supermarket, ferry and restaurants. Super friendly host Débora - was available for any question. I highly recommend it!!

The apartment is completely new, tasteful, high quality and brightly decorated. Hugo and Sonia have modernized and rebuilt a traditional house in Urzelina - the apartment is part of it. It is centrally located but still quiet. A courtyard gate separated from the street in a courtyard. Sonia personally welcomed us and gave us many great tips. She even took the time to show us something about the surroundings and tell history/backgrounds. Very warm, accommodating and lovely hosts <3 Highly recommended :-)

This place had everything we could ask for. Beautiful clean interior with amazing views from both decks. A very short drive to the supermarket and anything else you could need. Hosts were responsive and willing help us with anything we needed.

very charming house, we felt like at home and Ibi, Margit's husband, is extremely nice and welcoming, making us feel welcome. The very charming house, very typical of the region, indeed the furniture was not new but quite comfortable! in addition the view of the bay was magnificent and we could see many cachalots in the distance!

The accommodation was great. Clean, cozy and has literally everything we needed. On top of that, the host was super lovely, always offering help, introducing us to the local culture and more. She gave us very useful tips not only about trips, natural beauties or gastro but also about travelling through local airlines etc. This stay was a great pleasure and beyond worthy!!!!!!!! WE LOVE THAT!

Perfect stay location for our adventure up Pico mountain. Near main road, but well insulated and quiet. Some features are average, but most are upscale, clean, and visually beautiful- namely gorgeous landscaping, marble stairways and balconies, secure windows and doors, and super spacious rooms. Great property surrounded by mature pine trees. Would definitely stay here again. Stephanie responded promptly to my questions. Excellent experience.

A group of us friends stayed in a 2-bedroom unit and had a great time. The location is beautiful - right on the water - and very peaceful. There is an outdoor pool, though it was too cold to use for us. The location is great - we could walk to downtown Madalena in 5 mins and Cella Bar in 5-10 mins.

Incredible views from the apartment and very clean! The communication was very good and the check-in easy. I would recommend it at any time!

Spacious house super easy check in. Lots of amenities included that were super nice such as some coffee pods, a washer and dryer, and some soap if you want to pack light. ☺️ We were given the code ahead of time including once more before arriving which made check in super easy. Street built in the last year so a little confusing to explain to taxi drivers without showing them the map but didn’t cause any real problems and was easy to get to anyways. Not in the main streets by the marina so nice and quiet for resting and a great view of the mountain. Recommend if you prefer a quiet neighborhood.

We had a really nice stay and were warmly welcomed. The apartment is very nice and modern/new. Everything you need is available. Communication is also smooth with both tips and questions/problems. You'll definitely need to have a car or scooter to be mobile. Then the apartment is a great starting point to explore the island.

1 of 3 units at the property but we never really saw the other people. the view is spectacular. the kitchen was well equipped. 2 VERY friendly cats that we adored hung around. the area is very peaceful. exactly what we were looking for

We had a great stay at the place and that there was the possibility of daily breakfast and a pool is a great plus for an Air BnB! Especially the neighboring village of Lajes has impressed us very much and invites us with its promenade and the many small restaurants, as well as the wonderful view of the Pico!

Really happy with everything and grateful for the flexible check out - definitely recommend!
