Pet-friendly holiday rentals in São Domingos de Rana

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Great place. Close to the ferry station, bakeries and markets nearby, amazing views of Lisbon. The house had everything we needed; the host provided the kitchen and bathroom essentials. We felt right at home. One little issue, the beds were not very comfortable.

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

This Airbnb is the perfect place to stay when visiting Sintra. The hosts are sweet and welcoming; they were so accommodating with our schedule. We needed more towels and they brought them to us late at night. We needed to drop off our luggage before check-In and leave it there after check-out, to which they were more than happy to help. If you are staying here with more than 2 people, please be aware that the only shower is in the master bathroom. The shower is completely glass and there is only a thin curtain to separate it from the master bathroom. That didn't bother us at all, but it is something to note. Overall, incredible stay!

A perfect escape! What an incredible discovery! From the moment we arrived, we felt the peace and tranquility we were looking for so much. The place is a true oasis of serenity, ideal for those who need to escape the frenetic rhythm of the city. Our two pets also loved the garden and the ample space for jogging and play! The accommodation was impeccably clean and decorated with very good taste - simple but elegant. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals without major problems. The swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Crystal clear water at perfect temperature, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and lush vegetation! The hosts were extremely attentive, welcomed us with great sympathy and were always available when we need to, but fully respecting our privacy. We're already planning our next visit. This place has earned a special place in our hearts!

Mario and his place were fantastic!! The location was great, with easy access to the sights and the metro. Mario was super helpful and responsive. Absolutely loved my stay at his place. Would definitely stay there again!!

Christina was extremely helpful and an excellent host. As a superhost myself, I would absolutely rate this place a 5 star. Her level of communication was excellent providing us with a driver and great local recommendations. I highly recommend having a hired driver while visiting the area if you want to travel outside the square.

We had a nice stay at Lenita's house. It is a beautiful place to spend a few nights. There are beautiful beaches and nice restaurants in the area, the supermarket is around the corner. The garden is a quiet and green oasis in the middle of an urban environment, very special.

If you want to enjoy the nature of Portugal, feel the ocean breeze, and be amazed every day by the incredible scenery visible from the balcony, the kitchen, and the bedroom — this place is definitely worth your attention. Every time you look out the window, you’re met with a breathtaking view that photos simply can’t capture. Some advantages: the location is excellent. If you’re planning to explore the nearby beaches, this apartment is perfect. If you’d like to visit Lisbon, it’s also very convenient — you can take a reasonably priced taxi or a train, which is also very easy. There are supermarkets nearby where you can get groceries, and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal — all within short distance from the apartment. Beautifully renovated and decorated house in a very traditional village/small town. The garden with its cooling pool and dining/chilling area was equally beautifully presented as per listing. Although a car is needed to visit the area and for restaurants etc, Casa Arnaldo is in a great location for exploring the area including fantastic beaches, vineyards and historical sites, which Cristina informed us about providing plenty of useful information to make the most of our stay.

An extraordinary stay with thoughtful details that make all the difference! Adriana’s apartment exceeded all our expectations. Not only does it look exactly like the photos—spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean—but the hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The location is excellent, with easy parking that is either free or very affordable. But what truly sets this Airbnb apart is the incredible attention to detail. Adriana and her team provided so many thoughtful extras—cereal for the kids, a bottle of wine, plenty of milk, water, coffee, and even pantry essentials like pasta, perfect in case you arrive late and can’t go shopping. This level of hospitality is rare on Airbnb and truly makes a difference. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay with hosts who genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We would return without hesitation! P.S. They even left a little treat to our pet!

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Manuela was attentive from the beginning to the end, making sure everything was fine. She was very kind and pleasant at all times, and very attentive to our dog. The house was very cozy and quiet. It is true that in the mornings it is very bright and with so much light it is a little difficult for me, but it is fine.

This was our last stop in our 2 week journey through Portugal. It was a quick 10 min ride to the airport in the morning to catch our early flight. The unit was luxurious and the value is great. It would be an arm and a leg in the US. Train is a quick ride into old Lisbon. Host provided clear instructions. The parking garage was a big plus for our rental. Took a nice stroll to the soccer stadium and kids enjoyed the park in the building grounds.

The check-in could be done much earlier, which was great for us. The apartment was well equipped, even with small things that help you in a vacation apartment/self-catering. The apartment is located in a residential area, so you get a little bit of everyday life. The apartment has a good location for excursions to the surrounding area (center of Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, western point of Europe ...) Contact from booking to check-out was great (coordination, support, flexibility ...)
