Family-friendly holiday rentals in São Brás de Alportel

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

It was a charming accommodation. It was big for two people and we felt comfortable right away. Communication was easy. All in all, we were very please.

Having been to Tavira before I knew exactly where the house was situated. I needed accommodation for my brother and I plus our father and his companion, both mid eighties. The location was absolutely perfect being right in the centre of town and with its lovely balconies offering an outside space perfect for “people watching “ to keep the interest for the older generation. Plenty of bars, restaurants, patisserie’s and shops all a nearby level walk. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms a nice size and whilst it would be difficult for a disabled person with the internal steps it was fine for our 87 year olds. One flight up to the living area which also has a shower room and one more to the next level with two bedrooms with a shared balcony and then another to the master bedroom. Would definitely recommend and return. Many Thanks

Everything was perfect! The accommodation was in perfect condition, very clean and close to the city center on foot. The pool is a real plus! I recommend it:)

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. This is a really lovely little apartment in a fantastic location - in the heart of everything yet peaceful too. Hosts are great communicators - couldn’t fault it, just what we needed!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy little apartment — truly a hidden gem in Albufeira! The location couldn’t have been better, with easy walking access to the Old Town, the beach, key attractions, great restaurants, and just a short stroll to the marina for boat tours to the Benagil caves. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Isabel was incredibly kind and highly accommodating, especially considering we were travelling with our infant. She made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. We felt very welcome and at home throughout our stay. We’d absolutely love to return to this place the next time we’re in Albufeira. Highly recommended!

Brilliant stay at Denise’s place, you need a car but it’s close to tavira and other small towns and not too far from central Algarve. We stayed for a night and enjoyed a lovely drink on the terrace probably one of the nicest views and drinks of our trip The room was cool even though it was hot outside and clean with all the things we needed Lovely place

We stayed for a week with our baby and had a wonderful time. It‘s a super peaceful, beautiful place - especially the surrounding grounds are magical. The house itself is simple but cozy and very charming, the terrace overlooking the property‘s nature is a wonderful place to hang out and chill, and we made good use of the BBQ and outside shower. At some point we had a power outage, but Ana dealt with it promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a retreat in nature.

Silvia has always been very friendly and responsive. The accommodation is perfect and a 10-minute walk from the old town of Lagos, 20 minutes from the beaches. Everything is available: beach towels, parasol, beach toys... The welcome gifts are fabulous (breakfast, fridge almost full!!!...). I highly recommend it!

I stayed for 2 weeks. The perfect location , next to the beach, close to the centre of Old Town with a lot of restaurants. The best was a sea view from the balcony with having morning coffee and sunbathing during the sunny day. Apartment is in old building but is clean, has everything for the stay with plenty of towels, changing sheets and kitchen staff. Thank you Marco for hosting me!

Karin's home was absolutely amazing! The decor, the comfortable beds, the amazing pool, everything was perfect!! It really felt like the Airbnbs I stayed in 10+ years ago, before it became a profession to turn cheap homes into Airbnbs. Stay here, you won't regret it!

We had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean (very happy to let my little one crawl around on the floors it was so clean!). Much bigger than the photos. Pool area was very peaceful. Lots of amenities without being cluttered. Well stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. Restaurants and beautiful beaches within walking distance. Great communication and very helpful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

The apartment was spacious and everything was clean and tidy. The complex is beautiful and we were very happy to use the pool. Communication with the host was impeccable and we were flexible with arrival and check-in. Overall, we were completely satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation.

This was our 5th stay at the old village but first with Joanna. Apartment was lovely, really clean and well maintained. We loved the location right next to Artisan bar and pool. Joanna was a great host, extremely responsive and helpful. My only criticism is the beds in the second bedroom weren’t very comfy. But apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Really great location and the view from the pool was amazing. It was very easy to drive to all different areas of Algarve from here. Birgit was very nice, thoughtful, and gave great recommendations on what to see and restaurants to eat at.

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)

Just had a 12 day break at Villa Charme and it was a dream stay. Pictures don’t do the Villa justice. Beautiful pool that the kids (young and old) loved and lots of outdoor space. Fernando was a wonderful host - friendly and knowledgeable and always available to help. We absolutely recommend a stay here - you won’t be disappointed. Lynette
