Best kept secret in Sintra! This was my fourth trip to Sintra and Carlos and Madalena’s place was beyond magical! Beautiful, serene location, peaceful and quiet, perfectly comfortable in every way! I worked remotely while there and the internet was super fast and the apartment perfectly equipped with everything one could need - including a Nespresso machine! (I wasn’t sure so I brought a portable one from home!) Carlos and Madalena were wonderful hosts, and I look forward to returning again soon! There is not a better, more beautiful, nor more ideally suited location in all Sintra! Thanks for an exceptional stay! Super easy walk down to the historic center. Evening cocktails next door at Palacio Seteais was a wonderful treat. Grocery and food delivery via Uber Eats was super easy, and many great restaurants and attractions within walking distance! 12 days was not enough! PS - for anyone visiting Sintra - Pastelaria Gregorio’s Broas de Mel (Honey Cookies) are NOT to be missed!!!

I very much loved staying at this location, beautifull place with amazing view of the lovely garden and the trees and very cosy flat with everything I needed , the host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We had an incredible stay at Tiago's home - wish it could have been longer! The house is really stylish and modern, the gardens are extensive and beautiful and the overall feel is immaculate, private and relaxed. The pool was our absolute favourite part - we spent hours just in here. We had a lovely bbq in the outside kitchen area, we had morning coffee up in the trees at the back of the property, we had evening meals on the upstairs terrace. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms immaculate and the kitchen had everything we needed. Tiago's parents were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived abit late - they also gave us lots of lovely local recommendations. Sesimbra is an easy drive away and a really lovely, locals town - we loved the Fish Market and a sunset boat trip around the coast. Hope to come back soon :)

Very good stay in Fatima in the charming blue house, typical of Portugal and extremely clean, very well located in relation to the Sanctuary, 10 min walk. Perfect house for a pilgrimage. Sylvia is a very caring and welcoming host, she had arranged a taxi for us on arrival from the bus because it was extremely hot that day. The next day she offered to drop us off by car in the village of the little shepherds, giving us all the necessary details to enjoy our pilgrimage. Silvia is present for her guests while being discreet. We will keep a very good memory of our stay in Fatima in Sylvia's charming little blue house. Thank you Silvia for your warm welcome and all your attention to us Laure and Thierry.

Staying in Ani's beautiful guesthouse was an absolute delight. Not only was the surrounding area picturesque, Ani made us feel right at home with her welcoming fruits and veggies. The location is a little drive away from Lisbon, but the surrounding area and towns are worth exploring and offer more than enough. I would say the pool was our favourite part, but the lovely cats that came to visit us from time to time stole the show. All and all a lovely time, we will be back if we're ever in the area again.

Great stay at Bernardo and Patricia's. From our arrival to our departure, reliable communication, warm and meeting all our needs. Their apartment is comfortable, well arranged and spacious. The most for the touches and small gifts during our stay. Very nice meeting for a good stay in Portugal 30 minutes from Lisbon and plenty of other places to visit. Having a car on site is a plus. We had a lovely stay for 11 days, host family was so lovely and warm, the place itself was comfortable, clean and practical. It also felt very safe and private. Would 100% recommend and will visit again if we get the chance!

The apartment is located in a very quiet village, with a food store and a cafe. A 5-minute drive away, and a 15-minute walk away, there are several beaches and a wide range of restaurants. It shares a garden plot, orchard, parking, and clothesline area with three other accommodations, but with enough distance to have privacy. In the common areas there is a beautiful and sunny garden with terrace furniture where you can sunbathe, have breakfast, read, etc. The house is newly built with quality materials and is tastefully furnished with good furniture. In relation to cleanliness, it is impeccable. We have stayed here again this year, as it offers us everything we need. This area of Portugal is a gem, offering many things to see and do, and has a proportionate, family-friendly, and quiet tourism. Eugenia and Julia were attentive and quick to respond to any need. It was a pleasure. We'll be back.

It was the best choice to enjoy both Nazare and Obidos Berlemgas. The accommodation was small in size, but it was equipped without any inconvenience for a two-day stay, and the condition of the accommodation was clean. Above all, it was a simple problem for the host, but I felt good because they actively and quickly resolved it:)

The house was well equipped and had all the amenities. Just to inform, at night, cars go by and the light goes through the gaps in the curtains, also no oven/microwave but just the stove is enough for simple meals. Location is nice but without a car it's not too accessible to the main city if you want to go out at night. Minimarket and restaurants nearby are good quality but a bit overpriced depending on the product, luckily for short stays the minimarket has a nice selection of individual products like butter and some coffee products.

We felt completely comfortable with Sabrina and Hélio. The apartment is unique and designed with great attention to detail in the style of a boathouse - a real place of well-being. Everything has been thought of: The kitchen is excellently equipped, it was sparkling clean and nothing is missing. The location is wonderfully quiet and the sea is very close. We would come back anytime – all in all a wonderful stay. Thank you, Sabrina and Hélio!

Sara and Jeremy's place is wonderful. Very welcoming, impeccable cleanliness, wonderful smell throughout the house, tasteful decoration. The kitchen reminded us of the houses in Santorini! The beds were very comfortable! We liked that the television had a Netflix session available for guests, and we can enjoy a good movie in the living room. Sara and Jeremy were very attentive and were always available for any questions. Not to mention the animals, which were adorable! The pool is spectacular, it catches the sun all day and although it seems small, it is enough for us to cool off on the hottest days. The private courtyard was great for us to have breakfast and lunch to the sound of the birds. The garden was always immaculate, Jeremy took care of it in the morning. We really liked Azeitão and we will definitely be back soon!

Very good location, very clean and nicely decorated. Bed was super comfy. Only con would be that it's a bit noisy from the other apartments and the staircase, but i guess it's because it's an old building.

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished (especially the art is just stunning) and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was perfect – quiet and perfect for me to work and yet still central, near the coast and lisbon was perfectly to reach as well as by car or by bus. I especially want to highlight the hospitality – Joanna was super friendly, helpful, and always available if I had any questions. She offered me some food because i came on a day an electric shutdown day, where it was more than chaotoic in the city, she gave me extra towls when my friends came over and she fixed problems immediately. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Highly recommended!

The apartment is true to the description. The best thing is the pool and the space around it that is shared with other tenants, but we rarely saw them. Inside we only missed that the TV was only in French (although you can access apps like Netflix) and an oven, but both things did not seem essential to us. Didier was very friendly and hospitable. Too bad we couldn't talk much because we don't speak the same languages. We had a small problem in the apartment due to a lack of understanding, but as soon as we understood each other, he solved it quickly. The house is close to Foz do Arelho (within walking distance) and the beach. Foz is small, quiet and pleasant with a few restaurants and shops. A 15-minute drive away you have Caldas da Rainha with all the amenities (hypermarkets, restaurants...). In short: an apartment without great luxuries but with the essentials, with a spectacular outdoor space and close to the beach. Very nice hosts.

Very nice Airbnb, with a lot of nature around, close to Lissabon & the beach.. Easy communication, would recommend :)
