Impeccable accommodation. Spectacular scenery.

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

Lovely stay in Portugal. The house was in a very quiet and peacefull area, we woke up with the birds every morning. The garden is very big and has sun the whole day. The pool is actually much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We really loved our stay, the house is very private and Catia was very friendly and helpfull. Also we loved the fresh vegetables from the garden so much! Would recommend to stay with Catia when you can.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

Small friendly studio just lacks a little clarity but otherwise the location is very good for visiting all the cities around and the best is this large pool that allows you to cool off in the evening because it is a region where it can be very hot. There is a sunset from this property that is just beautiful!!! Thank you very much Tina!!!

Great house, dresser, well-equipped and functional. The house is located in a square that has parking spaces. I loved my stay at Casa Gomes.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

We stayed in a super private space, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. The pool is fantastic and our 3-year-old daughter loved it — she had a blast! We arrived around 10 pm and, even so, Edite and her husband were waiting for us with all the sympathy. They even offered us something to eat, if we needed it. We had a delicious fresh lemonade waiting for us and even honey berries, a treat we loved. We also had the opportunity to buy the honey that Edite produces and to learn a little about the production process, which made the stay even more special. Edite and her husband are loving and extremely welcoming people. The space is great, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, ideal for those looking for peace and tranquility. Beautiful space, surrounded by nature, rustic cottage in great condition, very friendly and always helpful hosts, made us feel at home. I couldn't fail to mention the friendly Nougat, the friendly farm dog, and the donkey Serafim. Very quiet place, allows you to relax. I highly recommend it.

Perfect house to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You can do your grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even seems to be ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and left us at ease to get in touch whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

Nice house in a beautiful village !

Best place and best hosts you can think of! Great hiking area, beautiful nature, mindblowing scilence and yet easy to reach Coimbra, Tomar and many of the Xisto villages. And on top of it superinteresting stories and great recommendations by Richard and Fiona. We hope to be back one day. :)

Perfect for those looking for a few peaceful days to disconnect. Heitor and Bernardina are fantastic, they help with anything that is needed and we feel at home. These days were fantastic and we hope to return.

Beautiful location, of immense peace. I've never seen such a stunning sky. The house is very beautiful and cozy, it has everything you need. The pool is even better than in the photos! Miguel was very kind and was always available for any questions. They even left us a basket with breakfast food!

We loved our stay in the Fontanheira houses, without a doubt I give 5 stars. The house has all the conditions for a couple with 2 children, very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. My daughters say it was the coolest house where they stayed, they loved it! But note to those who have smaller children, that access to the mezzanine can be a bit dangerous, because the stairs do not have lateral protection, which for us was not a problem, as my daughters are already older. We stayed in the house farthest from the pool, which has a stunning view to the mountain (I don't know if the side house will also have). Great house to disconnect from everyday stress and recharge batteries in the middle of nature.

Ana is a great host, and the house is super functional and tastefully decorated. It is a great accommodation option for those who want to get to know Beira Baixa and its picturesque surrounding villages. We will definitely return.

We were captivated by the charm of this small Alentejo house, which preserves its old soul with a welcoming touch. Upon entering, we immediately felt that coolness that makes all the difference on hot days - and that made us feel immediately at home. The courtyard is a true haven, perfect for al fresco dining and moments of tranquility. The house is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket and an excellent sausage shop just a stone's throw away, and we loved integrating walks through the village into our routine. Maria João was a thoughtful and generous host — she even offered us a bottle of family olive oil, a beautiful gesture that we will remember. We highly recommend it!

What a fantastically beautiful environment! The house fits completely in the tranquility of the beautiful nature. A place to relax and find the connection. Atilla also ensured that everything in the house there is what is needed, even in bad weather you would not be bored. A host who is open in his contact and is open to improvements. In autumn we will definitely come back to this beautiful and heartwarming place!
