House holiday rentals in Santee

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. The back yard is perfect for hanging out in the evenings with the lit pool and vibe-y blue and green lights and strung patio lights. The hot tub was hot and the patio had lots of furniture for lounging or eating meals together. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. I even enjoyed a fire in the fireplace on one of the chilly mornings while we were there. They supplied all the necessities for easily making a nice cozy fire. The living room TV came with Netflix logged in for the guests to watch and the surround sound was awesome during movie time at night. The neighborhood was so quiet with lots of people walking their dogs or running. There is a nice playground just around the corner from the house that we enjoyed one evening after swimming. My teens enjoyed walking down the road a just few minutes to enjoy all of the cool places to eat. The host was very responsive when I had a question about the pool. Overall a perfect stay!

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

If you're currently looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and have kids, stop looking. This is the place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carrie's property. Kids Paradise was ideal for our young ones, and thanks to Carrie’s thoughtful preparations, we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. This made it possible for our children to have a wonderful vacation, while also allowing us parents to relax. I highly recommend this accommodation for families with children of all ages. We look forward to the possibility of staying at one of her other properties in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Van's Airbnb! Van was incredibly communicative and friendly, making the entire experience seamless and welcoming. The view from the property was stunning, adding a special touch to our trip. The kitchen was well-equipped and a joy to use, and the house itself was exceptionally comfortable, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

If you have a family with children this is the PERFECT place! Not only are there plenty of toys and board games to keep the kids entertained, there is also a pool and jacuzzi. This rental even had toothbrushes and toothpaste along with sunscreen and aloe in case you forgot.

This Airbnb was so wonderful. It was even better in person than it was in the pictures. My family and I really loved all the amenities, decor, and kitchen equipment. We loved the pool toys and slide too. The host was so accommodating and friendly to communicate with. Would 100% recommend for anyone with a big family or a small gathering!

Linda and Bill’s place was a wonderful surprise. It is tucked away in a peaceful nook of the well established La Mesa community. It is our second reservation here and we hope to be back. The owners are super friendly and responsive. Everything was like described, even better in real life ;) there are stairs to the unit, but this is clearly described in the listing.

This house perfect for us to attend my daughters graduation at El Capitan HS. Access to anything you could possibly need groceries, coffee, restaurants and take out options abound. It is about 20-25 minutes if you are looking to access the beach and attractions. If I need a place to stay for a group in East County Mariah’s house will be the spot. Thanks!!

This place is so cute! It was close to everything AC works great. The bed was super comfy and the massage chair was a huge bonus! Will be going back if available next time I’m in town! Ty

I had a wonderful stay at this house! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We stayed at Zeina and Mo's place for one week with our East Coast and West Coast children and grands--6 adults and 6 children in all from ages 2-12. We could not have been more pleased. The house was meticulously clean and was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals at home. An added plus was an outdoor grill under a cabana like space with a table for 6 and outdoor counter to provide additional seating. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures on the web site. The whole outdoor space was clean and welcoming and proved to be a center piece of our stay. There were plentiful and soft towels for bathing and the pool. Zeina and Mo were promptly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We left with many fond memories of our week together, in large part due to to how comfortable and pleasant we felt about our stay was at Zeina and Mo's house.

We loved staying at Abby’s place in Santee. We were our two kids and the place was SO kid friendly. We appreciated the rocking recliner for nursing, the spacious master suite, and many toys and games. The place was so close to all that Santee and San Diego has to offer. With family living in Santee, this place was perfect for our trip. We also appreciated the two king beds and bunk beds for our stay.

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

Perfect! Derek and Brooke really have such a wonderful place and it’s so close to a very eventful downtown La Mesa. We dined there each night and attended the local Farmer’s markets. The home is so peaceful and had everything we needed. It’s just enough space for 2 - 4 people. (This trip was only me and my mom) They gave ample instructions and it was very easy to lock up when we left and easy to enter. We also appreciated being able to park directly in front of the unit on the street. The neighborhood is so lovely, you’ll wish you lived on this street! I’m definitely going to rebook this space next time I’m in town.

We loved this house, everything was perfect, no issues and the kids refused to leave! They still want to go back and live at the “house with the blue door”! Clean, tidy, comfortable pillows…definitely recommend booking this place!

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space! Elyce was such a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and she was so kind to let us extend our stay by a night. We will definitely come back to her house to stay again. We felt right at home!
