Family-friendly holiday rentals in Santarém

Die Hosts waren sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Das Apartment und der Poolbereich waren wie auf den Bildern. Im Juli waren in der Gegend leider viele fliegen u.a., ein Insektenschutzspray ist hilfreich. Trotzdem war unser Aufenthalt sehr schön und das Airbnb zu empfehlen.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

Passámos um fim-de-semana no apartamento de Sérgio que, sem dúvida, se tornou muito bom devido ao conforto que encontrámos no apartamento. O apartamento tem duas varandas maravilhosas que permitem assistir ao nascer e ao pôr do sol, apanhando sol ao longo de todo o dia. Todo o espaço é muito confortável e faz-nos sentir em casa. A vista para a baía de São Martinho confere uma tranquilidade acrescida. O condomínio tem uma grande piscina com zona relvada. A localização do apartamento revelou-se fantástica, pois apesar de ficar separado da praia pela linha de caminhos de ferro, fica muito perto da estação e atravessa-se facilmente, ficando a praia mesmo em frente. Sérgio foi extremamente atencioso quer no processo da reserva, quer no momento do check-in e check-out, permitindo grande flexibilidade e tendo em atenção as necessidades da nossa família. A filha de Sérgio foi também extremamente simpática, pois cheguei a São Martinho de autocarro e foi buscar-me à paragem. Queremos voltar!

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

Foi uma semana de férias bem passada, onde tivemos tudo o que necessitamos no apartamento (utensílios/serviços/máquinas) como nos foi comunicado pelo Sr. Luis. Nas redondezas encontram-se excelentes locais de gastronomia com boa relação preço/qualidade. O local é calmo e com bons acessos tanto para andar a pé como para descobrir de carro novos destinos.

Que estadia incrível! Desde a localização, que abraça a natureza e traz uma calma incrível, até à casa em si, equipada com todos os utensílios necessários para uma estadia perfeita. Tenho ainda que agradecer à Adriana e ao seu pai pela facilidade de comunicação e toda a atenção dispensada! Com certeza será um local a visitar novamente!

Die Unterkunft sieht aus wie auf den Bildern - der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wirklich unschlagbar! Lasst euch durch Google Maps nicht verwirren, sondern folgt den Anweisungen im Inserat, um von der richtigen Seite in die Straße zu fahren. Wir haben auf Anfrage auch ein Baby-Reisebett und eine Baby-Badewanne bekommen, was super war. Obrigada! 😊

Очень интересное жилье, много старинных и оригинальных предметов, но к сожалению нет места для размещения одежды и чемоданов. Спальные места находятся наверху, туда невозможно поднять чемоданы. Мельница старинная, поэтому чувствуется затхлый запах. Красивый садик.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Incrivel! A casa da avó Maria surpreendeu em todos os apetos, extremamente limpa, com cheirinho a sabão azul e com uma decoração que convida à demora nos pormenores. Vale 100% a pena visitar este espaço, tranquilo e convidativo ao descanso. Fica pertinho da Nazaré, da Batalha, de Leiria e a 5 minutos de alcobaça, perfeito para visitar a zona e aproveitar! Os nossos patudos adoraram o pátio para dormir ao sol. Vamos sem duvida regressar e divulgar com os amigos!

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Peaceful home! No noise, no light (outside at night). The National Parc is a great place with fantastic walks and amazing things to discover - go to see the Dinosaur's footprints, or the lovely chapel made with old dolmens. Be aware that the beds are narrow, not an issue unless you need space while sleeping.

Un des meilleurs Airbnb où nous avons séjourné en famille. 3 chambres avec de super lits, 2 salles de bain, une petite cour très agréable avec salon de jardin et barbecue. Maison très bien équipée (machine à café à dosette avec dosettes, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, etc.) . José et son épouse étaient à nos petits soins : super panier de vin, fromage et charcuterie à notre arrivée, petit-déjeuner copieux tous les matins avec des produits maisons et artisanaux... Vraiment parfait !!!

Um local maravilhoso para fazer reset à vida agitada do dia a dia! Uma casa extremamente limpa e bonita, com tudo o que precisamos à disposição. Destacar o jardim maravilhoso e a piscina. Por último, elogiar a simpatia da Sara e a sua disponibilidade! Já ansiamos por fazer um reencontro nesta casa incrível! 😊

We found Mafalda’s place a bit by chance in a wide search in the area. Coming in November, we could unfortunately not make real use of the nice surroundings of the "Country House" (maybe more a cottage). It was slightly disconcerting though to realize that after you leave the main road, take some turns, and enter the rural place with the fancy pool, the actual accommodation is located again nearly at the main road and in the evening we heard trucks. No problem at night, though. The place is cosy, which also means not very spacious but well-equipped. Some kitchen equipment could be in better shape. Heating was perfectly fine. Mafalda could not meet us on arrival, but sent very detailed instructions that made it easy for us to find the place and get in. She also responded immediately at all kinds of times to questions that came up. Later, we met her in person and interacted very nicely. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay at the Country House and would clearly consider returning.
