What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la villa de Paula. Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente bien. L’emplacement est top, au calme proche des sites de visites, vous avez beaucoup d’informations données par Paula qui est très sympathique, réactive et attentionnée. Je l’a recommande vivement.

Le logement était magnifique. Nous avons adoré la décoration et les grandes portes qui apportaient de la luminosité avec une vue sur la belle cours avec la piscine. Nous avons été super bien accueilli par un très bon goûté. Quelle belle attention! Susana nous a également faits plusieurs recommandations de restaurants et la communication était excellente. Il fallait conduire 8 min pour nous rendre au centre-ville. On retrouvait tous les essentiels pour bien cuisiner. Le logement était propre, mais je ne peux passer sous silence la douche. On retrouvait du moisi et personnellement, malgré le parfum qui avait été ajouté, je trouvais que l’odeur d’humidité et de moisi était désagréable. Tout le reste était impeccable!

Très bon séjour. Belle vila bien équipé. Hôte accueillant et réactif. Nous recommandons !

We loved our two weeks at this location. Superb views over the ocean and the surroundings. All we needed in the house was present and clean. Very peaceful neighbourhood (although we were a little unlucky to have roadworks ongoing). Amazing private pool (with an extra bathroom)! Carolina was super friendly and always available for questions. Would love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I had an incredible stay here for our honeymoon. The view is absolutely stunning and makes you just stand and stare out into the valley in awe each day. You are close to nearby walks, shops and natural pools. As you are centrally located, nothing is too far away. The house is well equipped, easy to find and the hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout. We stayed in decent weather at the beginning of June and didnt need to use the heaters at all. Would absolutely recommend and we will be returning!

Der Aufenthalt bei Valter und Marlene hat uns super gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit sofort zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Die Dachterrasse war das Highlight des Appartements. Der Ort etwas abgelegen und es gab nichts besonderes zu sehen. Aber wenn wenn man seine Ruhe möchte, ist es genau das Richtige. 😊

Місце, яке залишилося назавжди в моєму серці! Якщо ви хочете побути наодинці з собою, відпочити від міського ритму - це ідеальний варіант. Природа навколо неймовірна. Окреме дякую за зону гриль і все підготовлене там. Ми дуже добре провели час.

Einen besseren Host zu finden ist wirklich schwer. Das AirBnB ist super sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Bei sämtlichen Fragen stand uns Ana immer zur Seite. Außerdem hat sie einen wirklich tollen Travelguide geschrieben. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira fliegen würden, würden wir ohne zu zögern ein AirBnB von ihr nehmen.

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft! Besonders die Aussicht von der Terrasse am Abend hat uns gefallen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zur Begrüßung stand auf dem Esstisch ein paar typische Süßigkeiten und Poncha bereit, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben!:)

The accommodation of Maria Joana and Janine was amazing! We felt welcome from the start. The area is really nice and has lots to do and restaurants to go. The best thing is that we’ve seen one the best sunsets from our own balcony and that says a lot for Madeira! During our stay we have asked Janine for tips on where to go and it was like talking to a search engine. She instantly sent us links with spot on restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

Rodrigo ist ein toller Gastgeber und sehr um das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste bemüht. Er hat uns persönlich an der Unterkunft empfangen, hat uns Alles gezeigt, sogar Bier war kaltgestellt und andere lokale Produkte waren vorhanden. Die Unterkunft war super sauber, es ist Alles vorhanden und die Lage einfach optimal. Ein Highlight war für uns die Dachterasse und auch die E-Scooter waren top. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Die Unterkunft ist großartig gelegen im Norden von Madeira. Es handelt sich um eine sehr ruhige Lage, wie beschrieben neben dem Kirchturm der zu jeder Stunde laut läutet, allerdings um 10 Uhr abends das letzte Mal und morgens um 8 Uhr zum aufwachen. sonst sind die Bilder im Inserat mehr als aussagekräftig und absolut übereinstimmend. parken ist überhaupt kein Problem, allerdings ist die Lage des Ortes eine Grundvoraussetzung für einen Mietwagen. Manny ist einer der besten Vermieter den ich bisher erlebt habe. Er wartet bei der Anreise an der Wohnung, nimmt einen in Empfang, zeigt einem alles in einer Ruhe und gibt viele Tipps für die Umgebung, sei es kulturell oder essen. Er ist immer erreichbar, absolut freundlich und mit ihm zu reden und zu plauschen bereitet ein großes Vergnügen. alles an allem hat es uns hier sehr gut gefallen so dass wir auf alle Fälle wiederkommen werden. wer eine ruhige Wohnung in schöner Umgebung mit toller Aussicht sucht wird hier fündig. vielen Dank Manny

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Carlos ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Das Haus ist wunderschön mit allen Ausstattungen, welche einem das Gefühl geben zu Hause zusein und gleichzeitig im Urlaub. Die Lage ist sehr gut um im Norden der Insel alle Unternehmungen gut zu erreichen. Eine ruhige Lage mit Sicht auf das Meer mit sehr schönen Sonnenuntergängen. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch in Carlos seiner Unterkunft.

Nous étions à Madere pour une semaine et nous avons adoré notre séjour! Opção était super réactif et disponible. La vue du balcon était encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos. L’emplacement était très intime. Nous recommandons chaudement ce logement.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La vue de la terrasse est incroyable, et nous en avons beaucoup profité car il faisait un temps magnifique.
