Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Santa Maria di Castellabate

We had a specific reason for visiting Fornelli and Savlatore's B&B was the perfect place to stay. The unit was quaint with a bedroom and bathroom. There was a small refrigerator in the unit. Salvatore is a very gracious host, attending to all needs of his guests. He prepares a wonderful breakfast each morning, consisting of fresh made cakes, breads, meats/ cheese, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. He provided good suggestions for area restaurants and things to do along the Cilento coast. Though we do not speak very much Italian, we were able to communicate well enough (used Google translate a couple of times). There is a chiesa just up the road from the B&B and I attended the church service two evenings. The residents were friendly, kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our time at B&B Mandorlo and will stay again if we return to the area.

Small apartment... but impeccable!! It has everything you need for a few days' stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They always responded quickly. Recommended.

If off the beaten path is somewhere you'd like to stay, this would be the perfect location. Close enough to sights, yet very close to a beach that was not crowded. Antonio was very informative and helpful in providing recommendations during my stay.

Nice place to stay, quiet and peaceful. Aniello is very helpful and always responding to all the communications. I would recommend his place for someone who is visiting this part of Italy , close to Salerno and near airport and port. Thank you for your hospitality Aniello and your helpful family.

If you are Italian and want a fantastic weekend getaway, or from another country and want the perfect Italian experience, stay at Al Vicolo del Cilentro! Our stay at Alessandro's place was beyond what we could have hoped. The BnB was so charming we felt we were living in a movie. The room was clean and modern, and the views unbelievable. Alessandro made our stay extra special. He made us so comfortable, toured us around his beloved Cilentro, and made our entire trip a success. He even called the airlines (more than once) to help track down our lost luggage...and took us to buy toothbrushes in the meantime! 5 stars plus.

Spacious and very clean room, as well as the common spaces we used for our excellent breakfasts. Riccardo was a great host, always available and very useful with his tips on places to visit, restaurants, dairies and everythingelse. Raito is a 5-minute drive from Vietri on the sea, it is a small and characteristic village perched on the Amalfi coast with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Salerno, a great foothold to visit the area.

Impeccable accommodation in a central location, clean and well organized. The host is very helpful and very kind, knows how to take care of the client in every detail every detail throughout the stay. There is no against it. Highly recommended and definitely worth a try. Compliments

We really enjoyed Gino’s place. Everything was perfectly fine and we can highly recommend this place. Breakfast was amazing. Also we enjoyed local dinner every night, prepared by Gino and his daughters. Gino took us on a hiking and swimming/ boat tour spontaneously to show us the beauty of this area - which was truly fantastic. Nature in that area is stunning and you can feel that Gino loves his profession 😄. He is a great guide and we regret that we didn’t could stay longer. We look forward to come back!

A nice week of vacation around Agropoli and nearby beaches pampered upon our return to the "Sunset da Carla" b&b by the owner Carla and her family. Carla met me in a thousand ways being intolerant of lactose and other foods..... my breakfasts were satisfactory. Great, its lemon dessert😁 A special mention goes to the dog puppy Corso di Carla who lit up my days by keeping me company and cheering me up. Thank you! Thank you for everything 💖

It was a really beautiful accomodation. Enrico the host is really helpful and nice. The flat is at a perfect aera, the beach is really close. There are nice restaurants everywhere. I would be happy to visit this place again :)

Wonderful place, very characteristic. Impeccable care and cleanliness. Domenico is a very kind and caring host, a really genuine guy. In the morning he made me find breakfast in the courtyard. Everything wonderful and welcoming as only Cilento can do. Experience with a typical flavor that I highly recommend as the village is already nice in itself and then well connected to Paestum and Agropoli. Thanks Domenico, see you next time.

Magic views, breakfast made with love and delicious products from around. Everything was clean in the house, which is not far from beautiful places to eat and visit. Thank you to Marina and her mum for all the attentions!

Friendly hosts, a room with attention to detail, cozy, with a view of complete respect, and with a cappuccino prepared by the lady to be envied to the best Neapolitan tradition.

Valerio and Olga were the best hosts! Tasty breakfast, free parking and proximity to all good things in Palinuro and the surroundings. Even better were their recommendations which definitely made our journey unforgettable!

If you visit the Amalfi Coast again, then always stay here, with Fernanda and Vizenzo.😍 The two are the personification of cordiality. Their helpfulness, flexibility and hospitality are simply incredible… There was actually nothing lacking - Fernanda thought of everything, from the overcrowded refrigerator, to good care products, to the complete beach equipment. We even enjoyed a personal shuttle service from/to the train station 🥰 The place is very clean and decorated with a lot of love. The terrace is a dream, it offers plenty of space and tranquility to be able to unwind undisturbed. Both the location (a sweet little town, which is known for its ceramics) and the sea are within walking distance in a few minutes and can be reached via a few steps. Likewise, bus, ferry or train. We were traveling without a car and had no trouble exploring the area in different ways. Thank you Fernanda, thank you for everything ❤️

Anna and her family have been very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. Tenuta Raimo is a beautiful, peaceful location with breathtaking views of the gulf of Sorrento and Capri. The pictures do not do it justice. The locals are also super friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend Anna’s place to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of the Cilento countryside. Thank you for having us Anna and all the best with everything! 😊

We get our room even earlier, than the basic description, that is super good, because don’t need to wait. Due to the availability of multiple rooms, we can choose between them (+++!!!). Every morning when wake up, our delicious meal already prepared in the garden, on our balcony, and the house maid made fresh cappucino every morning! Villa is well equipped, clean and ideal place for relax. The coastline just at the other side of the street: you csn choose between theprivate swimming pool of the Villa or the ocean. If we have any questions / requests, we got support very fast, and live contact between us and Roberta: she give a list of good recommendations places around as, such as monuments, places, restaurants, etc…. If you have (rental or private) car, everything just in a few minutes of driving. You far enough from the noise of city, but close enough to reach everything while relaxing. Roberta if you read this: we 100% going again, if we visit Italy, Salerno area!

This Airbnb experience was wonderful. If you're looking for pure escapism and a quiet, quaint holiday retreat then please please book this place. It's the calmest, most relaxing stay and the host couldn't be more welcoming or wonderful if they tried. Trentinara is such a cute, small, mountain village with a surprising amount of eateries and the most welcoming locals. If you intend to explore Cilento then a car is a must, but if you want pure freedom and a slow-relaxed vacation then taxis/walking will serve you well. Enjoy!
