Gorgeous caravan, felt so homely and warm, very comfy beds and all the linen was clean and smelt lovely. Great location on the park with great views and quick access to the beach. Would definitely visit again.

A few relaxing days in a beautiful peaceful spot. Balm to the soul - looking at the view, listening to the bird song, and watching nature. Everything was as described. Highly recommended 😊

Beautiful Home In Kippford With Incredible Views

Peaceful and beautiful views. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen.. We loved our stay there and would book again. You do need a car as up a very steep hill but the views are spectacular. Thank-you for making our stay so welcoming.

The Place, Loweswater. Utter tranquillity.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. Thanks, Lucy and Nick!

Secluded spacious lodge Dumfries and Galloway

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
One of the best Airbnb accommodations we've stayed in. The lodge was exactly as described (the third bedroom was smaller than we'd expected but I think that's more because we hadn't paid much attention to it), if not better than described (the shower was spacious). Everything was there as we needed it, we appreciated having working utensils in the kitchen (not always the case). The view from upstairs was amazing, much enjoyed from the sitting area upstairs. Julian was a responsive, kind host, as were Ainsley and Steve, our local point of contact (next door). We even had a delicious welcome pack. We had an amazing week exploring the area. Julian's idea of asking people to write down recommendations of places to visit in the visitor's book is an excellent one. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Rural 3 bedroom log cabin in lovely coastal area.

AntonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just arrived back after 8 days stay in this lodge. Absolutely perfect for getting off grid and enjoying completely peaceful location. By far the best positioned lodge out of them all, with elevated decking overlooking the golf course and the deer park and hills beyond. Lots of wildlife in abundance birds, rabbits and even watched deer running across the golf course most nights. Beach is easy to get to...10 minutes walk down the track and across the main road...great if you have dogs or kids or both. Lodge was very clean and well organised, great kitchen with all accessories, bathroom was modern with a great shower...piping hot water. Bedrooms are decent size bright with plenty of storage. Would definitely stay here again. (Would suggest new outdoor furniture as table and chairs past their 'sell by date'...a nice rattan corner unit to relax with a glass of wine would be perfect... Great communication from Christine. Best lodge we've stayed in.
