Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Vicente de la Barquera

The house was great, very clean and comfortable and decorated and furnished with many personal and attractive touches. Being on the edge of the village, with wonderful views, it felt very private, especially as we used the covered outside seating area for meals. Highly recommended.

Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

As soon as we stepped into the apartment, we felt a sense of calm. It's almost impossible not to feel relaxed while surrounded by the beautiful countryside views. The house was designed to capture the scenery, especially with the large living room and master bedroom windows positioned perfectly west. We often preferred having dinner at home while catching a view of the mountain side sunsets over eating out for the evening.

We stayed here three nights with our four children while exploring the Picos. The photos don’t do it justice. Incredible nice space with the most lovely patio. Very clean and private feeling. Potes is an easy ~8 min drive away for restaurants. You’re within an hour of several great hikes in the Picos de Europa. One hike we (which we unfortunately have time to do) departs right from behind the home. Host was very communicative and helpful. Hope to come back some day!

We had a good two night stay in Grace’s house. Grace was friendly, charming and helpful. We enjoyed our trip to Santander on the local ferry service (thank you Grace for the suggestion!). The house was very clean, we appreciated the parking space within the courtyard and we would stay again.

Hemos podido pasar unos días estupendos en Cantabria. La casa estaba justo en la zona que queríamos visitar . Daba gusto llegar y poder descansar tomando algo en el jardín. Es un barrio muy tranquilo que permite el relax. Lara ha sido encantadora ,dándonos información que nos ha venido genial para que nuestras vacaciones fueran perfectas! Ha estado atenta a todo lo que podíamos necesitar. Muchas gracias Lara, eres una anfitriona excelente.

Het huisje ligt heerlijk rustig en het uitzicht is een levende ansichtkaart waar je naar blijft kijken. Heerlijk zwembad bijna altijd privé. In de keuken is ook veel keukengerei wat heel erg prettig is. Communicatie met Alberto was altijd heel snel en vriendelijk. Kortom een fantastische plek wie van natuur en rust houdt.

Great place. Has all the essentials and the host had obviously thought about the things that make a good stay. Monica and her husband were very responsive and helpful on check in! Would recommend

logement fabuleux à tous points de vue. Le matin nous déjeunions face aux montagnes. L’après-midi promenade à pied aisée depuis le logement. Le soir sur les fins conseils de Diana les meilleures tables de Llanes. Un séjour au delà de nos espérances. C’était parfait. Nous le recommandons. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir. À dire à nos amis tout le bien des Asturies. Mais sans Diana cela n’aurait pas été aussi parfait. 👍 merci du fond du cœur à Diana.

We had an amazing time at Magda‘s place. It is very beautiful, nicely located and equipped with everything you need. Magda supported us with many recommendations and her food is amazing! If you come, you should definitely order all of it! 😊 It’s a very good place to relax and enjoy nature. The region is very beautiful and Magda knows all the nice places around.

Als je rust wilt en een prachtig uitzicht is dit een geweldige plek. Vanaf het balkon kijk je uit over een baai met in de verte de zee. Vanuit het appartement kun je prima de omgeving verkennen. Wij bezochten Comillas en het Gaudi huis. Op een half uur rijden ligt Santillana Del Mar, een mooi middeleeuws dorp. Vanuit het appartement loop je zo naar het strand en kun je een heel eind langs de zee lopen. Aan de boulevard ligt een hotel waar je een heerlijke verse jus of cappuccino kunt bestellen. Het appartement is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs als het boven de 30 graden is geeft de zee wind verkoeling. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad

Le logement était parfait, très bien situé, bien équipé, très propre. Nous avons été accueilli par Miguel, avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Le stationnement devant le logement était parfait pour nos motos, à noter que l'accès par les ruelles pavées un peu glissants demande beaucoup de vigilance.

Amparo und María sind tolle Gastgeberinnen - freundlich, immer ansprechbar und trotzdem diskret. Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben uns ganz besonders über die bereitgestellten Lebensmittel und Getränke (Kuchen, Kaffee, Milch, Wasser, Cola & Bier) gefreut. Das absolute Highlight ist aber die wunderschöne Terrasse mit wirklich spektakulärem Ausblick. Wir hätten die Wohnung am liebsten gar nicht verlassen, so schön war die Aussicht. Suances ist ein entspanntes Surfer-Örtchen mit netten Restaurants und Cafés. Anfang Juni war noch Vorsaison und noch nicht alle Lokale geöffnet. Tipp für einen Cocktail oder Snack mit fantastischem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang in unmittelbarer Nähe des Apartments: Bar „El Castillo de los Locos“. Danke nochmal für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

La estancia fue fantástica y María encantadora en todo momento. Pasamos unos días súper a gusto en su alojamiento. Si tuviéramos que decir algo para mejorar sería la calidad del colchón y almohada del dormitorio principal. En todo caso, recomendamos al 100% este alojamiento. Muchas gracias María

Hemos estado unos días en casa de Carlos. Todo fue genial desde el minuto uno. La casa es tal cual las fotos, aún si cabe más bonita. Appartement impeccable et très propre. rien ne manque. Une adorable terrasse entièrement fleurie par Félix. Vraiment très agréable.

Lourdes est très sympathique. Elle nous a très bien accueillis, nous a donné plein de recommendations utiles. L’appartement était charmant, très bien placé pour découvrir Santander à pied. Je recommande fortement cette hôte 🙃

Apartamento muy agradable, limpio y muy equipado. Perfecto para dos personas, el baño algo pequeño. Cocina muy equipada y moderna. Todo muy limpio. Laura siempre atenta, y resolutiva. Al lado de la playa, restaurantes y supermercados. A tener en cuenta que es un segundo sin ascensor, para gente con movilidad reducida no recomendable. El parking interior está bien, pero al no tener plazas designadas en momentos de mucha afluencia como verano o puentes te quedas sin sitio, y fuera es casi imposible aparcar, nosotros fuimos en puente y ya estaba a tope, así que en verano puede ser una locura. Volveria pero no en verano

Nous avons adoré l'accueil de Diana. Diana est une hôte absolument charmante, qui a à cœur d'accueillir les gens. L'appartement était très beau et lumineux, un lieu avec une âme! Il y avait beaucoup d'espace et les lits étaient confortables et propres. l'Internet était un peu difficile à faire fonctionner donc je ne recommanderais pas cet endroit pour faire du télétravail. Il n'y a pas de machine à laver. Autrement, l'appartement était très, très bien équipé et il y a un ascenseur, sauf pour les huit dernières marches. Il y a une épicerie, une buanderie, une fruiterie et plusieurs commerces à proximité. Nous avons eu de la facilité à nous stationner dans la rue avec les instructions de Diana. Le stationnement est gratuit les soirs et la fin de semaine, et payant le reste du temps. Toutefois, des rues sont gratuites tout près du logement. La plage et le centre-ville sont tout près aussi. Bref, un énorme merci à Diana, nous recommandons fortement ce logement! :)

Der Aufenhalt bei Teresa war rundum eine tolle Erfahrung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und super ausgestattet, uns fehlte es an nichts und wir fühlten uns direkt wohl. Der Ausblick von der Unterkunft ist beeindruckend. Die Gegend ist ruhig und man hat seine Privatsphäre. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen und Teresa gab uns wertvolle Tipps. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fuimos toda la familia con nuestra perrita a pasar un fin de semana en Suances y quedamos encantados, tanto con la amabilidad de Carmen como con las comodidades de la casa. Todo muy limpio ordenado. Para mascotas está genial ya que tiene una terraza cercada con una pequeña parcelita de prao. Repetiríamos sin duda.
