Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Marcos

Selvi’s home was lovely, very spacious, quiet, clean, private, safe, with beautiful surroundings. Last year we stayed at a different Airbnb that was the size of the bathroom here and paid more than we did for this. It was a wonderful experience!

Guru quickly responded to my questions and was very accommodating. The house is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. All rooms are downstairs, only the primary bedroom is upstairs. We appreciated the quality of the bath products available for use.

What a wonderful stay! Natalie was so friendly and proactive, which made us feel welcome before we even arrived. It's rare to find a place that is even better than the photos, but this was it. The entire home was immaculate, and we loved the artistic touches that made the space feel so warm and unique. We all slept so well—the beds are incredibly comfortable. It truly felt less like a rental and more like we were staying at the home of a friend with impeccable taste. And a special shout-out to your two pugs—though we never formally met them, their charming, invisible presence made for the perfect, quietest roommates and really completed the "at-home" feeling! The peaceful neighborhood and seamless process, from check-in to checkout, allowed us to truly relax. It's an ideal spot for a solo traveler or a small family of 3-4. We had a great time staying in a quaint space—perfect for two—that is also very centrally located in Oceanside. It's not walkable anywhere really, but in a short car ride, everything becomes accessible.

We loved our stay! We were provided with amenities we might need such as extra blankets, and iron, pots and pans and disposable cups. The instructions on finding the place were very clear, the space was homey and quiet.

Such a great place! I’ve stayed in a fair few good airbnbs, but this one really stood out. The location is great and the home was absolutely pristine, but what I really appreciated was that everything the house was stocked with was superior quality. I’ve never stayed in a place that did the small things so well - the pans were great, the appliances were great, the towels, the bed linens, they even had a full set of glass Tupperware and a water filter in the fridge.

Michael and Arlene are excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful, cozy, and even better than in the photos. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Rented this airbnb for my 70 year old mother in law who was visiting family in the area. She said the airbnb was perfect - clean, easily accessible, everything you’d need and more.

Great place! Modern simple, deep tub, steam shower, comfy beds and pillows, peaceful environment. Wall-to-wall window doors look out into palm trees, chirping birds, lots of natural light. Note-there’s 2 entrances to underground parking of this. Parking entrance is LEFT side of building down the hill. Great to have dedicated indoor parking! Lovely stay

We loved our 3-night (couple’s) stay at this quaint and cute apartment! Joel and Heather were both very quick to respond and offered good recommendations. It’s within walkable distance to the Carlsbad Village and Beach, which were our top priorities. Loved it and strongly recommend!

I loved the location, we could walk to coffee in the morning. A few great food options are close. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone wanting to cook, we didn't because the food choices were too good in the area.

Such a great place to stay. Restaurants, beach, pier all within walking distance. Within the complex pools, gym, and game room. My kids especially loved feeding the koi fish in the pond. The condo was centrally located in the complex between the game room and the pool. Sitting on the balcony you can hear the waterfall and get a peek at the ocean through the trees. Will definitely stay again!

We loved our time here! It was perfect and we were able to just walk to the golf course everyday. Hoping to stay here again next year for the NCAA championship. Thanks, Robyn!

Nick was a great host! He let us check in early to get settled, was communicative and helpful, and the apartment was everything we were looking for. I loved the location as it is very close to downtown Oceanside while still in a peaceful neighborhood. I felt very secure with the courtyard and loved the coffee shop right across the street. I would recommend staying here and plan on staying here again the next time we come down!

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful. Brett was extremely accommodating to my whole family while we stayed at his beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again.

First we would stay here again. Location is centrally located to everything (beaches, restaurants, golfing, shopping). The condo is fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfy. Host Julie was always very responsive, knowledgeable and flexible.

A wonderful condo in the Omi resort.Has everything you need , fully stocked .great views out of the 2 sliders .A Walkable area in the resort and a lagoon and beaches not faraway. I enjoyed the walks in the resort and the restaurant.
