Holiday rentals with beach access in San Marcos

Such a great place! I’ve stayed in a fair few good airbnbs, but this one really stood out. The location is great and the home was absolutely pristine, but what I really appreciated was that everything the house was stocked with was superior quality. I’ve never stayed in a place that did the small things so well - the pans were great, the appliances were great, the towels, the bed linens, they even had a full set of glass Tupperware and a water filter in the fridge.

We had a great stay at Joel and Heather’s apartment! The location is incredibly central—just minutes from the beach, shopping, and downtown, which made exploring the area super convenient. The space itself is cozy and well-kept, perfect for a solo traveler or couple. While the apartment is on the smaller side and there is some road noise from the nearby I-5, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient, well-located spot in Carlsbad.

I loved the location, we could walk to coffee in the morning. A few great food options are close. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone wanting to cook, we didn't because the food choices were too good in the area.

We stayed at Christie’s apartment for two stays during a one week trip. Both stays were overall pleasant . Very nice view from the front balcony where you are able to see both the ocean and sunset, you are also able to hear the waves crash at night. Nice interior with plenty of space for two remote workers. Nice coffee shops within a walkable distance for lunch breaks and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were also many great restaurants within a few minutes drive of the apartment and a mall in Carlsbad 15 minutes away with many retailers. The only issue I ran into with our stays is one neighbor two houses down was rather hostile towards parking near her property, although it’s public street parking. Overall, I would stay again, I would just make it a point to park on the other side of the road.

We loved our stay! The place was accurately described and clean. There were nice touches throughout the place and Karin's binder of suggestions for food and activities was extremely helpful - she's done all of the work for you. The outside area is really nice and relaxing. We had bad luck with weather (June gloom!) so we were inside more than we wanted to be so it got a little tight especially with doing the dishes.

We absolutely loved, and would recommend Matthew's vacation rental. We have stayed in Oceanside several times for a quick get away and this lovely location is by far our favorite. We hope we will be able to return in the near future. A parking spot is right in front of the property, Matthew's check in and out instructions are clear and easy to follow, the location cannot be beat, with the ocean and private beach just steps away. The interior has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and well stocked. I personally appreciated the binoculars and decaf coffee. It was wonderful to sit outdoors and watch dolphins, seabirds, surfers, dogs happy to be on the beach, and relax to the sound of the waves. There are many great restaurants nearby, and plenty of activities and places to visit in and around town. The best part was the feeling of being in our own little private sanctuary. What a beautiful place!!!! Perfect space to relax and enjoy Encinitas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker with everything needed: coffee grounds, creamer, sweetener! We were welcomed with breezy air and beautiful decor. Even the amenities in the shower were awesome and I loved the soft luxury of the towels. We will definitely return to enjoy the blessings of Cardiff Paradise!

My mom and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The location is amazing- walking distance to La Costa Resort restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches and shopping areas. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Close to Legoland and the ocean. Easy access into the home and easy to find. Fun activities/games for families. Very children friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place for our large group of adults. All amenities were available to us. Our hosts communicated well and promptly prior to and throughout our stay. I would highly recommend.

Great location and cute neighborhood. Lots of space to spread out in the house for are large party. The Bedrooms were nice and big and the kitchen was stocked very well.

This was the perfect place to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It was quiet and had a great view of the ocean. The deck was a peaceful place to eat meals, hang out and read. Super close to the beach and great restaurants. We will be back.

Dan was a great host that responded to all our questions and needs within minutes it seemed like. The little bungalow was conveniently located a block away from the beach and about a 4 minute drive to anywhere you wanted to be in ocean side. Loved the location of this place and it was a nice relaxing stay! Highly recommend.

Lisa and Menotti have a beautiful beach escape that was perfect for our small group celebrating a birthday. The sliding door and balcony were beautiful and such a nice feature to let in the beach breeze. The house was pristine, comfortable, and so well designed. All amenities you would need. The hosts were super responsive and helpful and accommodated a late check out which allowed us to wake up early and check out low tide in the morning! Definitely will stay again.

Beautiful Airbnb with all the perfect details to make it feel like a home away from home. The glass sliding doors that open up to the backyard are absolutely stunning. I would recommend it, and stay here again in the future. Thank you so much to our hosts. We loved it.

Anthony was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. He accommodated our specific needs and was helpful with last minute inquiries. Perfect location with spacious, but welcoming environment. Home was stocked with all basic needs so you didn’t immediately need to run out to buy necessities. We also appreciated the art work and decor that isn’t normally in a rental. Loved the fireplace, fire pit, and outdoor entertainment garage. I enjoyed the rooftop desk the most, while the family spread out to the other areas. Wonderful family home with all sad to leave.

Great place! super close to the beach. They even leave fun stuff like a closet full of things you need for the beach. We would stay again.

We loved this place! The mattress was so comfortable, I literally took the sheets off to see what brand it was. It was nice to have beach stuff ready to borrow for our stay and we loved sitting out on the front porch to eat and watch the waves.

Great place if you are looking for a beach setting. Clean linens and towels, clean room. Kitchen has nice plates, glasses, utensils, etc.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place to visit my son, who is currently serving in the Marines. We were both able to rest deeply in a big, soft, comfortable bed something we hadn’t shared in a long time. The house had everything we needed; if I needed something from the kitchen, it was there. Nothing was missing. I was able to cook for him, we shared a beach day, and for a few days, it felt like we were home again. It was a safe, cozy, and truly special place. I’m deeply grateful for this week and for the joy of spending it with my son. 5 stars without a doubt! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe stay full of heart.

Such a great place to stay. Restaurants, beach, pier all within walking distance. Within the complex pools, gym, and game room. My kids especially loved feeding the koi fish in the pond. The condo was centrally located in the complex between the game room and the pool. Sitting on the balcony you can hear the waterfall and get a peek at the ocean through the trees. Will definitely stay again!

This is our family second time coming to Oceanside. The home is clean close to the beach and restaurants. Cassandra does a great job communicating and getting back to you. We’ve never had any issues or any concerns. We’ll definitely be back for a third time. We absolutely love staying here.

You can’t beat the un obstructive view of the ocean! Beautiful, clean and spacious condo. The little dog park out back was a nice touch. Parking was super easy and helpful! Within walking distance to many places. One of the best places we’ve stayed at!
