At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

Our cozy cottage features sleeping accommodations for 8 people with 2 full bathrooms, all situated in the private Yacht Club, which is a gated community. There are beautiful gardens to stroll through during your stay. The decor is very bright with lots of natural light and lots of areas to relax indoors or out. We live in the USA, but we do have a gardener/care taker on site to assist in any way during your stay and is available most days. The guards at the entrance can also assist.

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

The experience at the house of San Lucas de Tolimán was wonderful. By far the best bay of Lake Atitlán to rest. Very quiet Pueblito with a perfect atmosphere to relax. The house is very nice and all the amenities worked very well as advertised. Extremely comfortable and very quiet bed. The terrace with the jaccuzzi complements the whole experience. Positive point to highlight the service, attention and availability of Hector who was always attentive to all our needs. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay! The views were stunning & definitely worth the hike up. The house was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had all the basics you need. Communication was great and made the entire trip a very smooth process - from putting us in contact with airport shuttles, boat captains, etc & giving great recommendations. Only note to other travellers is the water pressure is extremely light, so if you have very thick hair you may not be able to wash it with the little pressure. Otherwise 10/10 stay!

Kenny helped us get s shuttle directly to airport after our stay and always answered immediately any questions that we may have had. Perfect Airbnb for a few days in San Pedro.
