Family-friendly holiday rentals in San Lazzaro di Savena

This is a very spacious flat, which is beautifully furnished and has a lovely outside seating area. It is walkable distance to the old town and has a number of good cafes close by for breakfast. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was very well equipped. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they were quick to respond. Our group was a couple in their 60s and 2 in their 70s. We could not have walked from the station but Carolina described where it was best to catch a taxi and the whole process was very easy. Carolina then ordered us a taxi for our return to the airport, which worked very well. It was a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend this flat!

Mauro’s apartment was very clean and tidy. We felt as if we were home. He was very friendly and supportive. I’d like to stay in his aparment whenever I come to Bologna

We spent two nights there, everything was great! The hot tub overlooking the mountains is a good plus and if you go there in summer you can enjoy the fruits that grow on site. There is also a couple of neighbors, who are absolutely adorable and with whom everything went well.

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home is! From the warm fireplace to the beautiful furnishings and feel of the home, we loved EVERYTHING about it. Tiziano was so helpful with recommendations and we can’t wait to come visit again and share a bottle of wine with him next time. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a small town home with plenty of small local places to eat/drink.

We had a wonderful time staying in Cristina’s loft. The garden, lovingly cared for by Giuseppe, is absolutely beautiful and was a true highlight of our stay. The surroundings are well worth exploring — full of charm and cultural treasures. Most mornings we started the day with a run through the peaceful landscape, followed by a refreshing swim in the pool. There is so much to see and do in the area, both in nature and in terms of culture. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and relaxing stay.

We had a very joyful stay, host was friendly from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Loved all the animals and the beautiful scenery. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Communication was very easy and we felt right at home.

The house was impeccable, as described in the photos. Very clean and organized and quite wide. The space is very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. It is a good location for those who think about going to the F1 of Imola because it is very well located in front of the train station and it is in a quiet area. among other attractions in the area. We had some unforeseen external events to the house, which the Host helped us and helped us resolve quickly. Very responsive and communicative. We are very pleased!

We really enjoyed this place, Guido is a very friendly host, very responsive, very welcoming, the apartment was spotless, spacious, there were 6 of us, it was perfect. Our hosts had filled the fridge and cabinets so we could make great breakfast, everything was perfect. The location 30mn walk from the center, close to public transport was a much appreciated plus, we did everything on foot. A very nice stay in a beautiful city. Great place to stop in the countryside and so peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was wonderful. In the center of everything and walkable to everywhere. There are dozens of stores and restaurants surrounding it and we felt part of the city. The balcony was a huge plus! We enjoyed sitting out there and taking in the sights and sounds of the street. Even during the hot summer, the balcony was cool and shaded later in the day, just in time for a glass of wine. The air conditioner cooled the apartment down well. Enrico was very quick to respond to us and answer our questions. He went out of his was to help us and we appreciated it!

Lorenzo was a delight. Everything at his apartment was clean and well maintained and the location is amazing, especially if you like to visit local restaurants. The apartment had even more space than I anticipated and was very comfortable and homey.

Our week's stay in this beautiful area was made even better with Daniele's lovely home and property. It is nestled in the mountains and provided a good starting point every day for traveling around to either Pavullo or to Bologna and Modena. The home was modern, clean, and perfect for having morning coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. After a day of traveling to see the sights, we sometimes chose to make dinner in the kitchen which had all of the necessities. It was a great experience!

We were only in Bologna for one night, and I'm so happy we stayed here. It was central to everything we needed and was a beautiful and well-cared for space. Ilaria was so communicative and kind, made sure we had everything we needed to check in, and provided us with some wonderful recommendations. We had a really wonderful stay.

Paolo was fantastic, welcoming and gave me some great recommendations. I spent a week in Modena exploring the city and Paolo’s apartment was in the best location!

This was a very quiet and comfortable place in a beautiful setting. We shared the entire location with the hosts and a second accommodation. Enough privacy. Great pool that was big enough for the kids. We had a very spacious house with a private outdoor table. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked several times at home. In the village at 10 minutes there is a supermarket with all you need. The place is rather isolated, you need a car to get around. Gabriela suggested to leave the car in Castel Bolognese, at 30 minutes by car, park it for free and travel by train to Ravenna or Bologna. That is just 30-40 minutes and saves you the hassle with parking or Zona Limitada restrictions in the Italian cities. We did not go to Firenze that is about 1.5-2 hours by car. Conclusion: great rural hide out with all luxury and privacy. We have seen many cyclists on the mountain roads. Supposedly therefore a good location also for cyclists or motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy this region.

We loved Ruth's house. The perfect place to relax, enjoy the tranquility, nature and the pool. Although we had a car, Ruth told us how to get to Bologna by train and it was a success. We were also in Florence. Ruth has treated us as part of her family and has had numerous details, both with us and especially our 10-month-old baby. Thank you!!

We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

Our extended family stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the house and the area. Very comfortable with ample room for our family - 3 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms - there was room for everyone. Tredozio is a cute town with ample restaurants and typical Italian shops. The butcher and the delicatessen are the best. If you need it there is a brand nAme supermarket only about 10 minutes away.

This place is very comfortable and beautiful. you can feel the atmosphere of Italian historical life there. It's a great location for trips to surrounding towns. Franco was incredibly nice and open to our needs.

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. I had a long stay at scarlet's place. it has everything you need. the supermarket ist about 10min walk. the surrounding is quiet and peaceful. you are also close to green fields for a hike, if you are sportive. The listing is further a way from Forli city center. There is a bus line about 5-10 min walk away which brings you right to the city. it is pretty reliable and comes about every 15-20 min, so even if you are not there with your own car, it's absolutely fine. Scarlet does have 4 dogs. They are small and really well-behaved. There is the occasional barking at other dogs, as dogs do, but they are small cuties. So even if you are not a dog person, it'll be fine. All in all, I can definitely recommend this place. Scarlet is always responsive and quickly attends to your needs.
