We specifically chose to stay here for the view..it was spectacular. It's a very peaceful place located in a small, town. If you only want to relax this is a great spot. The home was clean, had everything you would need. There are insects here and there in the home, but that's a given due to the location. It didn't bother us. Getting there for us was a bit challenging, especially if you plan to visit other surrounding areas. We visited La Fortuna one night and it took us about 2.5hrs to drive 38 miles, to give you an idea of how the roads are there. I would recommend a 4x4. Beware of the occasional fog, another element that made it difficult for us at times to drive in. Driving around there is not for the weak. I enjoyed our time there and the view was worth it. Everyone we encountered there was very gracious and helpful. whenever we needed anything or had any questions! We appreciated the hospitality!

This is the second time that we have come, we loved the extension that was made to it. The place is beautiful and quiet. Great for couples , lounging and spending nice nights. It has everything to cook. We really enjoyed the stay and left the routine in a beautiful place and surrounded by coffee plantations and the sounds of the birds.

Very nice place. I would go back, it's perfect for resting and having peace. It is close to well-known places such as Freddo Fresas. The rooms are comfortable. It's very well equipped. I recommend bringing a blanket if you are sensitive to the cold. Very nice place. I recommend it 100%.

Our stay at the cabin was simply spectacular. Everything exceeded our expectations: the cleanliness, the details, the comfort... we have absolutely nothing negative to say. The cabin and the entire property are beautiful, you can breathe tranquility and you can see the care in every corner. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Definitely a place we'd like to go back to.

My friend and I had a great one-night stay at Fabio's place. Everything was impeccably clean, very well decorated and perfectly in line with the listing. The beds were very comfortable, which allowed us to rest well. I also really appreciated the small touches of the owner, as well as the responsiveness and kindness during our exchanges. The location is ideal, quiet while being close to amenities. I highly recommend this place and won't hesitate to come back if the opportunity presents itself!

We stayed at this cottage for the weekend with my family and the experience was just spectacular. The place is too nice, surrounded by nature and with one of the best views of the Central Valley we have seen. The cabin is very well equipped, all spotless and thoughtful down to the last detail. It breathes tranquility and feels a real connection to the environment. It is located very close to the Barva Volcano, which makes it ideal for those who enjoy the mountain and the fresh air. Definitely a place we want to go back to. 100% recommended!

The cabin surprised us for the better, it far exceeded our expectations and I would stay here again without a doubt. The weather is beautiful, the fireplace is perfect for those cold nights and everything was actually very good.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views are incredible—we were truly blown away when we woke up and looked out; it felt like waking up in Switzerland. The location is very close to the volcano, which makes it perfect for early visits—although it was unfortunately closed during our trip. The home itself is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and very cozy. A quick note: the road up the mountain can be a bit intimidating at night, especially for those more used to city driving. We’d recommend arriving before sunset if possible. All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay and we’d definitely recommend it!

The cabin is in an incredible place, surrounded by nature and with a lot of privacy. Ideal for a getaway from the city without having to handle a lot of distance. Approx 10-15 min from downtown Barva.

Amazing views. Great for bird watching and immerse in nature. The villa looks brand new, everything works perfectly except there’s no heating system so it’s difficult to stay warm at some times during the day and night. You definitely need a 4x4 for a little part of the road closer to the house. Worth the price!
