Enjoy a peaceful visit to the farm in this cozy and comfortable bed-and-breakfast retreat. Wake up with breakfast brought to your door, then spend the morning leisurely exploring the surrounding apple orchards and gardens. Located on a working farm/cidery, you can learn about apple culture and even stroll through the orchards tasting different varieties of apples during the harvest season. The farm's chickens provide very tasty eggs which you'll enjoy for breakfast; there are cows and lots of wild-life just outside your door! The cottage is set up comfortably for two people with all the spa amenities. Guests have stayed here for the last several years; you can read reviews online by following the review link on our website after searching for our name (AppleGarden Cottage) on the web. Breakfast is brought to the cottage each morning with all organic and home-made items. Fresh eggs from our pasture-raised chickens, local dairy items, and our own hard cider is stocked in the fridge. Guests can enjoy touring the apple orchard and cidery, and visiting with the resident chickens. They have complete privacy inside the cottage. Free EV charger for guest use. We live full-time on the farm in the main house and are always on-site when our guests are present. We enjoy visiting with folks if they want to tour the farm or need suggestions for activities. Tomales is 68 miles from both San Franciso (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports. There are many hiking opportunities just a short distance from the farm: Point Reyes National Seashore has wonderful trails to explore. There are local cheesemakers who have educational tours; Tomales Bay is perfect for kayaking, and of course there are several oyster farm choices for the bivalve lover! We are located about an hour from San Francisco (traffic depending) and about 20 minutes from Petaluma. Fee includes breakfast for two each morning. On rainy days, enjoy the cozy comfort of reading next to the fireplace, or venture out to watch to storm at Bodega Head. Plan to bring snacks or other things you'd enjoy eating; we provide breakfast (of course!) and there are restaurants fairly close by, but no stores or places to just run out and get a quick treat!

Our unique San Francisco lodging on Russian Hill is convenient to many interesting shops and boutiques nearby. The historic San Francisco cable car system is only a short 1/2 block away. The accommodation is very private with a separate entrance and private deck. Since we are behind another building there is very little street noise. It is like being in the country in the middle of San Francisco. There is a queen bed and also a sofa bed but it is an additional cost. Three people, 2 beds add $15 per night, two people 2 beds add $7.50 per night. I live on the property so I am usually available by phone or text. At this time there is no personal interaction The home is located in an eclectic neighborhood with residents of all ages. It is 1/2 block to the cable car and 2.5 blocks from the popular Polk Street, which offers an array of ethnic restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to North Beach and China Town. The vibrant Financial District is also close by. The cable car line, going to Fishermans Wharf and Union Square is 1/2 block away, Buses going all directions are 2 1/2 blocks away.
