Cottage holiday rentals in San Fernando Valley

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

Definitely wanted to stay longer! Connie made us feel welcomed before our stay even started and was even more of a delight to meet in person. The property is beautiful! Cottage was perfect for us and our pups. Neighborhood streets are nice to walk down with stores and restaurants easy to walk to. I can go on and on about the positives so I’ll just say that we will always check availability here first for any return trips.

We had a wonderful time and loved the house! It was extremely clean and well-outfitted. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely home in a beautiful location!

We enjoyed our stay at this very cute and cozy cottage. It was a very peaceful location and close by a beautiful Walking trail. It had all of the amenities, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.

Connie was truly the perfect host. Responded so quickly to request for hot tub heat-up each eve (enjoyed the pool, too). And her written words were warm and generous. There was everything you could need in the kitchen and bath…including extras you wouldn’t even expect in other Airbnbs we’ve stayed. Syrup for our pancakes, for example, and toothpaste! Wonderful ambiance in our sweet cottage, lots of comfortable places to sit and covered front porch to snuggle up in next to the gorgeous home with beautiful gardens. Loved the lights strung across the yard; SO pretty each evening. We were fascinated by the Pasadena Parrots twice a day; fun to try and spot them in the mature trees all around. We are grateful for Connie allowing us to experience this exquisite property and we really hope to return!

This place is so beautiful, quiet, secluded and magical! It's about 12 minutes drive from the town of Pearblossom which is very small. It's a small gates area with only a few houses around, but we havn't seen anyone while we stayed there. It's 9 minutes walk from a natural park called "the devil's punch bowl" where you can hike and climb on rocks. We enjoyed it very much with our kids and dog. The house is great! It has lots of bedrooms and beds, fully stocked kitchen (very old appliances but they work), 2 fireplaces, many TV's, awesome play room and a wonderful Jacuzzi (strong jets). We spent time hiking, bathing, playing pool, watching movies and eating. This is a perfect place to check out from the world and enjoy family time. I will also mention that if you go outside early, you will see a few dears! There's a grocery store about 12 minutes drive, we brought a lot of food with us. Wonderful experience!

This is a paradisiac place. Very secluded and surrounded by nature, ideal to really unplug. The outdoor kitchen is beautiful, as well as the swimming pool and the suite. Karen was an excellent host, always available when we needed something. We are looking forward to come back soon!

Absolutely loved staying at David's place. It was perfectly peaceful and quaint and very unique. David was also great in that we left an item by accident when leaving. He immediately let us know and helped coordinate a pick-up of it later that day. Was super appreciated. Would highly recommend staying at this or one of his other properties!

My stay at The Venice Love Lodge was great! On nice quiet street it was easy for me and my two dogs to walk the neighborhood. The Love Lodge is very nice and clean is very well stocked with pans, dishes and utensils so we were able to stay in and cook (Ralph’s grocery store was nearby). Although it has been updated even has usb-c ports at the wall outlet this 1940’s era house was great. The TV has an APPLE TV box and you can log in to your account to watch your content (just remember to log out when you leave). I felt very safe walking around and safe parking on the street. The bicycles are in good working condition and was fun riding around. Personally I preferred a Waymo ride to the Santa Monica pier and Venice Boardwalk (theAI car drove better than some of the other rides shares and was slightly cheaper. Overall had a great time and will do again when I can. Thank you Arron and Monica for the use of the Venice Love Lodge.

We had a wonderful time staying at Darryl’s place! If you love the ocean like we do - this is definitely the place for you! Wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, it has a beautiful, private patio, a beach we have enjoyed during the day and multiple restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Darryl is a fantastic host! He was very accommodating, communicative, gave us recommendations and left us a bottle of wine, bottles of water and snacks! We loved Darryl’s place and highly recommend it! We’ll be back again!

Our most recent visit was our third stay at Kristin and Richard’s place. We love the location. Great for visiting the entire Pasadena and LA area. Their place has tons of character and many thoughtful touches. Kristin and Richard are very friendly and super responsive.

Don's place was the perfect spot for our family. We loved the location and the views it provided while also being centralized between a few neighborhoods we wanted to explore, like Echo Park, Highland Park, and Silver Lake. It was easy to come and go, and we felt like we had a lot of privacy. I also really enjoyed the various patio spaces we had. We would stay here again.

This was a 10/10 stay. The cottage was absolutely magical and Ronald and Elle were very flexible, communicative and thoughtful. The cottage is bright, cozy and the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers and lemons as well as water and some toast for breakfast. :) Definitely book your stay here if you are in the area! Would come back for sure.

This is one of the best houses I've stayed in over the years. It's located in a tranquil and secluded valley, exceptionally clean and bright. The arrangement of all the items reflects the host's elegance and thoughtfulness. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are warm and cozy, and the bathroom is simple yet tidy—meeting all needs without any clutter。AJ responded very promptly and kindly adjusted the check-in time to accommodate my early arrival—such a thoughtful host. I was delighted to spend a few wonderful and peaceful days here. The nearby trails are perfect for walking or cycling, and the central area is just about a ten-minute drive away, making it very convenient. AJ truly deserves this praise, and I highly recommend staying here. See you next time. Elyn

The Captain’s Cottage was a very cozy stay for me and my partner. We really appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms. They made sure we had their contact information and to let them know if we needed anything. The price was very reasonable and I could recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay.

This was the perfect place to stay! We were there for our Chapman student’s graduation. We were able to relax and enjoy everything more because of this space. Being able to cook breakfast as a family and offer her a peaceful spot to study for her last exam made it feel like we were at home.

Host was very responsive and accommodating. Location was safe and secure for our family. Nice and spacious. Would definitely rebook for future visits.

A really cute home perfect for a small family, in a great location

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.

The place was great! Quiet, serene, and had everything that was needed. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future!

I look forward to staying at Bill & Sue's studio cottage when I next visit LA. The cottage is in the Westchester neighborhood of LA. The lovely area invites walking and exploration. There are beautiful residential gardens with an amazing variety of flowers, and shrubs, and street trees lining the blocks. There are abundant choices for useful retail, grocery shopping, and restaurants very close at hand--Beach Pizza at the intersection of Manchester and Lincoln is excellent. Playa del Rey beach is a comfortable walk away but is also accessible by the 115 Metro Bus. Links to Santa Monica and LAX are simple with the Big Blue Bus #3. The place is convenient to LAX but seems like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with all the tools that you need to prepare and enjoy full meals. It is wonderful to sit and enjoy the outdoors in relative privacy of the patio.

Our family of 4 had a great time at Joel's place. We had everything we needed and the location was close to everything we wanted to visit, while being in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The fact that we could use his backyard space for parking was a plus, although we didn't end up using it (due to a proximity sensor on our rental car that we couldn't turn off - our car kept hard braking when we were backing in). Joel was flexible enough to get us a parking pass for on-street parking. The place matched the descriptions, and price was great. We loved staying here as our base for our adventures in LA and would highly recommend for others!
