Holiday rentals with a hot tub in San Diego County

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Very comfortable place with a lot of character and such a great location. Very convenient if you were taking kids to the famous San Diego Zoo and nearby parks. Lots of storage drawers and closets. Hosts were great, very responsive to any questions we had.

Great location and very well kept. Beach bungalow/ cabin vibe. Walking distance to anything and everything around Ocean Beach, which is so fun and lively but still peaceful! The cliffs down the road are a bit dangerous and windy but with the right shoes, so worth the views. We didn’t realize the hot tub was shared with 2 other units on the property but we got lucky and had no trouble using it when others weren’t and barely noticed our neighbors- they were very quiet. Owners were great and responded within seconds!

We were 3 families on a trip together with all our kids and this place was perfect for 14 of us. Spacious, packed with things to do, lots of rooms and bathrooms — the pool and hot tub were great also. It’s centrally located, close by to Costco, groceries and lots of plazas. The water heater broke during our stay and she came and fixed it the next morning. The hosts are very responsive and we all really enjoyed our stay; we’d definitely come back :)

Beautiful Home! My kids loved the Backyard along with all the games. My Man loved the Condiments & Kitchen He said You guys had the right equipments I loved the jacuzzi.

Our stay here was incredible!! Craig and Julie were wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and had great communication before and during our trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We felt right at home and hope to make it back here someday!

Robs place was very cozy and suited my wife 3 year old and myself quite nicely. The location is great for a La Jolla trip, downtown and the San Diego zoo. It fit our needs perfectly and their jacuzzi is the nicest one my wife and I have seen (we usually prioritize jacuzzis for our stay). They were polite and even accommodated a 2 hour earlier check in for us as we had our 3 year old with us and they get fiesty 😂. Thank you to everybody associated with this location, it was amazing

We loved Max's place. Big open room concept and walkable to many restaurants in the neighborhood. Loved the outdoor area as well.

Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved all of the plants and fruit trees around the property! The pool and hot tub were well kept and we had a blast! We were a big group, I loved how many lounge areas this property had. We never felt cramped or like we didn’t have space/chairs for everyone. Beds were super comfortable - way more comfortable than you usually expect at a rental. The host was super responsive and it seemed like they had thought of everything!

Nice place, great for a family! Loved the back yard and balcony. Very homey feel. Would recommend!

The house was perfect for a family vacation. My kids loved the pool and play area. The hosts were very responsive with questions. Something was going with the fridge and the water/ice maker and the fridge kept beeping especially at night, but that was really the only issue. Plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay again

This villa was perfect for our wedding weekend at Mt Woodson Castle. It was only 4 minutes away! All amenities we could possibly need was provided. The view from the back of the villa was breathtaking. There were 2 jacuzzis that we wished we had time to use. Would definitely want to return again someday to just relax and enjoy the villa. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. Villa was easy to find thanks to very detailed instructions from the hosts.

If you are looking for something with nature and private, this is the place . The home is so beautiful and the view is priceless. Totally recommend this house . We were a family a big family and we all fitted .

The villa on the hill is a hidden gem that I would gladly go back to. The views were breathtaking from just about any spot on the property. One of my favorite parts about the whole villa stay was sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set in the evening. The villa itself was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. The owners keep it very clean and stocked with cooking utensils if needed. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Southern California, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious place to stay.

Probably the best Airbnb we have stayed at. This was our first trip to the desert and by the end we did not want to leave. If you are looking for some peace and the most beautiful scenery this house is recommended. Lots of wonderful shady places to enjoy the scenery and well appointed home amenities.

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

An unforgettable stay — highly recommend! We had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and felt cozy yet spacious. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, breathtaking mountain view from the pool. We especially how quiet the neighborhood was. Our host Posh was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it whole.

Loves our stay at Pinky's! The trails on the grounds were beautiful and it was such a relaxing stay! The house was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs, the dogs loved being able to run around in the gated yard! The on site host had wonderful recommendations on things to do in the area and was very nice and responsive! We look forward to being able to visit again!

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying here during memorable day weekend. There was something for all of us to do. We fished at lake every day, a big plus for my husband as it was just a few short minutes away from the front door, to the quality time we had inside the house playing pool, to the top tier coffee machine that allowed me cozy mornings on the patio listening to the birds with my husband, to the smores we made outside at the fire pit while gazing at the stars. The house is so beautiful and inviting, curated with such an eye for detail and warmth. We truly cannot thank you enough for sharing your home with us and we cannot wait to visit again soon one day.

My wife and I spent our anniversary at this lovely tree house cabin. We had wonderful weather which really made all of the exceptional views pop. The home was immaculate upon our arrival with a greeting card and lighted ambiance. The trails (3) on the property are fun to walk through. Everything we could have possibly needed was already awaiting us. The deck and bridge are absolutely amazing, and the privacy is everything we had hoped for. It felt like we were the only cabin there. The drive to the lake is so close, and in the pictures the lake appears further than it really is. The hot tub was great as well as relaxing and if we had a question, both Rick or Maria would respond immediately. The drive into town was easy and the steps on both sides of the cabin will keep you in shape. They have storage should you need it for extra luggage as the room is small, so keep it as open as you can. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin nestled on the mountain, and Rick is a wonderful host!

We stayed at The Mountain House over a weekend, and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the house and the whole farm is so serene and peaceful. My daughter loved the animals (especially the goats) and if she had it her way, she would stay there full time. The chickens gave us lots of fresh eggs everyday. Also, I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes that is offered as it really adds to the experience. We took the cheese making one and came home not just with knowledge of how to make delicious cheese, but also lots of cheese for us to enjoy.

We absolutely loves the enchanted look out! We will definitely be re booking for our San Diego trip next year ❤️
