There is no way to accurately describe the views of the Tuscany countryside from this wonderful villa. The updating of the house left nothing to be desired. Indoor and outdoor amenities are perfect for a large group or family. It's a great home base, as it's centrally located. We took day trips to Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monticchhiello, Pienza, Siena, and Orvieto. And so close to the hidden gem of Bagno Vignoni - don't skip it. Kathleen was one of the best hosts we have ever had. From recommendations and directions to introductions to chefs and wine tour guides. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions throughout the process. You will love everything about this place. We would definitely go back.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this beautiful villa/property and the host (Andrea). It exceeded all expectations. The pictures are beautiful, but it truly doesn't do justice to the real thing. The villa is huge with 4 very spacious bedrooms / 3 full baths that provides tons of space. The living room is huge with an incredible view and so much other room (dining, sitting area, etc). The outside patio is unbelievable with a view to die for. Has a private garage for a car if you drive and washing machine. Kitchen is good size with full-size appliances if you choose to cook. Air conditioning in all rooms! Andrea was an exceptional host and extremely accommodating. He met us when we arrived and gave us a personal tour and also left us with a delicious bottle of wine! If you take a train to Chiusi (we did), you will have to get a taxi from the station to the villa (~10 minute drive). Chiusi historic center is a very easy 5-minute uphill walk from the villa. 5 *

Hospitable host who was very helpful when we had internet issues. The view from the front door stairs, veranda and kitchen was breathtaking. Recommend all guests take a stroll to old town and explore the cobble stone streets. Since many stores are closed on Sundays you may want to stock up on grocery before arrival on a weekend.

This was the finest AirBNB home that we've ever stayed in. Every room was immaculate, the views were incredible (private and among vineyards, you can see for miles), every appliance and fixture seemed new. Everything was anticipated to make the stay perfect.....a refrigerator, bathroom and shower at the beautiful pool, pool towels in each bedroom, etc. As soon as you walk into this house, you are going to go "wow", and for good reason. Francesca came and cooked us a delicious local dinner and did some light grocery shopping for us.....all for an unreasonably LOW fee. We had another chef team come in on another night. We also visited a local winery where we had a fantastic, private wine tasting tour and lunch (Tenuta Vitalonga) and followed that up with touring Orvieto and having dinner at a very unique restaurant (Le Grotte del Funaro). Make sure you have a car or are using a bus/limo service for your transportation, nothing is walkable from this beautiful private house.

An Unforgettable Stay with the Best Host Ever! Flaminia is truly the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Serena, despite not being there to welcome us, organized the entire check-in in a perfect way Thanks also to the friendship with Moira (owner of the grocery store near the house) who recommended and helped us get around. Serena's house is a pearl in the middle of the vineyards, old style house with heated outdoor Jacuzzi (overlooking the vineyards) and with all the comforts to spend a magical weekend in the Tuscan vineyards. The only flaw found in the house is the pipes, perhaps old , that struggled to drain water and also the shower, perhaps to be fixed as it did not throw a lot of water. Serena was also super kind to point out all the great restaurants in the area and also the wineries to taste wine. I'll definitely be back at your place... Thank you Serena!!!
