Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Vincent is a great host. He was very accommodating with our check-in time. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us how everything works. Very responsive to our inquiries. The apartment is less than a 2-minute walk from downtown Bayeux, spacious, and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

Very good stay in Carteret. We would have liked to meet Emmanuel when we arrived or before we left.

Lovely accommodation. Great communication from Eleanor and Ed. Eleanor greeted us on arrival and provided information on the area. As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

The best thing about staying here was the reception from Dominique & his wife & the location. They gave us a great introduction to the history of the area, the house and his personal connection to the Normandy landings. This was a country stay with a mishmash of furniture - this is not one of those new IKEA style Airbnbs - it felt a very authentic. All the important things worked, including great WIFI. We slept well thanks to a comfy bed, nice bed linen and black out blinds, you have a kettle and a Nespresso machine & everything to make a simple meal - 2 electric hot plates and a microwave. They were very gracious is letting us use their washing machine & dryer in the garage. The apartment is at one end of the house - up a flight of stairs, where you find an open plan kitchen/dining/living room & pull out bed, TV shower room/toilet. Up more stairs is a huge bedroom, with a standard double & a single bed. We loved all the reading books translated into English. A memorable stay

Very nice place in the center of Caen. Everything within walking distance easy to do, for further destinations within Caen there is a tram station right outside the door. All in all, a very nice place to be if you want to visit the city of Caen.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

In the Normandy countryside, in the immediate vicinity of the sea and in the heart of the landing beaches, this fully renovated and impeccably clean accommodation deserves these 5 stars! The hosts are very attentive, special mention for the bottle of cider. We spent a memorable stay there as a family, in memory of those who fell on this land.

Oh what a wonderful place for a large group. Communication with host Michael was very good both by email and in person, his English was far better than our French. The accommodation was majestic and everywhere was clean. We were a group of 12 seniors, and although a rural location was central to all the D day celebrations with the furthest beaches only 25 miles away. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. We all felt very much at home and were sad to leave! This house is a 10/10 and we highly recommend staying here if in the area to see Omaha Beach, the American cemetery, and the beautiful French countryside. We hope to return!

We had a great stay in this wonderful house where you immediately feel good thanks to the welcome and responsiveness of our host. These few days spent with family will be unforgettable and the services offered are certainly a part of it! And what about those wonderful sunsets you can watch from the sofa! We're already looking forward to returning.

Simply WOW We had a great time at Laura's place. The accommodation was splendid and beautifully decorated. The bedding was very comfortable. The setting is quiet, relaxing and the parking lot allows you to park your vehicle(s) safely. you will find everything you need to have a pleasant time with family or friends. In short, we were able to completely disconnect and enjoy our trip to discover the landing beaches and museums.

This apartment was absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay. Christophe was so responsive in helping me with any questions I had and he even recommended the local Saturday market, which was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely return again!

Sandrine and Yves were the perfect hosts from the initial booking up until we left. Nothing was too much trouble, they provided great recommendations for local restaurants. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as advertised. The surroundings were very peaceful, we had a great week’s stay at La Blanchere. We will definitely be back to stay again.

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Awesome beachfront with children , beach in front of the bay of the loggia, sublime view, easy parking, secure residence with gate beep. Functional apt, very well arranged, space, big plus the closed loggia that opens up entirely . Yasmina on arrival and departure very flexible and good advice. Friendly and available hosts. 5 minutes from Cabourg and 15 minutes from Houlgate, easy access to visit the flowery coast as well as the landing sites. We recommend it in a second . Cdlt. We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We are two couples from Quebec who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thank you Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!

Beautiful apartment, quiet and very well equipped. The location is ideal: 2 minutes from the beach without having to cross the road, and 10 minutes from the center of Julouville and shops. The big plus: the exteriors with the garden furniture and the courtyard in which you can park the cars. All surrounded by a fence that makes it so there are no neighbors. We didn't meet Céline and Étienne but they are super responsive if we need anything and very accommodating. I think we'll go back
