Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

We had a pleasant stay. The direct view of the beach from the veranda is superb. The apartment is very comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts are available and kind. The only thing that bothered us was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom when we arrived maybe due to a water leak or a lack of ventilation?

The gite is in a beautiful remote setting. The house is spotlessly clean. It has been renovated and decorated beautifully and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It is possible to walk to Quettehou, the nearest town. There is a supermarket just outside Quettehou, just a five minute drive away. There are nice restaurants in Saint Vaast la Hougue and in Barfleur, a short drive away. Would recommend tor a quiet relaxed getaway.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

We had a great time. The accommodation is clean, perfectly equipped and located in a quiet and relaxing environment. The owners were welcoming and gave excellent advice on activities and places to eat near the chalet. We highly recommend it and hope to return next time!

David was an amazing host before, during, and after our stay. David met us at check in, and immediately made us feel like part of his family. My family and I stayed in David's home while we explored the WW2 sites of Normandy. The home is located in a private setting, but a short walk to the village center. Which has an amazing bakery!!!! The home was spotless, roomy, and felt like we traveled back in time. Inside was just beautiful detail. Large timber, beautiful stone fireplaces, too many beautiful details to list. The surroundings are beautiful, and I could not of asked for a friendlier, more responsive host. I plan on returning to France and will not stay anywhere else other than David's home. Thank you David for making our vacation an amazing experience. I took my wife, 2 sons (18+15 years), and my father (78 years) on a tour from France to Switzerland. All of them said Davids home was their favorite! Thank you David for making our trip more than we could have asked for.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

A wonderful home from home in Normandy, with beautiful views, so peaceful yet very close to beaches and local towns. We had a wonderful stay here with family and there was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ and gardens for our late spring break. Martine and Francois were fantastic hosts, very responsive and with great local recommendations.

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

Eva's apartment is awesome!!! It is beautiful, with character. Very well placed, clean, well equipped. Eva is adorable, accommodating! I recommend it 300%.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

They don't lie about the beauty of this apartment, we had an amazing stay! The view of the castle is awesome and you are right in the city centre. The apartment is spacious, clean and cozy. You are provided with some great tips about what you can do during your stay, both within the city and Normandy. They provide you with everything you need for an amazing stay in Caen, we highly recommend this place!

The property is amazing - beautifully decorated, comfortable and in the historical heart of Caen. At the same time its quiet and private. We loved it! Marie is an amazing host - warm, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Very good stay in a beautiful villa that exactly matches the description. The most covered and heated pool, a pleasant garden and activities for everyone. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. we highly recommend this beautiful villa for gatherings with family or friends.

A great stay by the sea. Morgane's place is perfect! It's beautiful, clean, convenient, good location and more. The interior is very well designed, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly possibly need is available. The garden is beautiful, well exposed and above all well fenced (ideal with our dog). The hot tub is the plus we would not have thought about but which we enjoyed with pleasure. The beach is very close, the town is pretty and quiet and Morgane has a good suggestion if you are looking for activities nearby. We really had a great week, thank you again to our hosts for their great place and their responsiveness in answering our questions. I would recommend it in a second!

Great accommodation, pleasant, beautiful terrace, very functional house. There were six of us and we had a great weekend. Thank you to Stephanie for her hospitality and the house is super well located at 2, rue de la mer. There were no surprises. The photos match the house well and if I go back there, I will try to get the same house again, I recommend it.

Very qualitative accommodation, which matches the descriptions, allowing you to have a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the hot tub is very large and the kitchen is very functional. 2km from the beaches and cabins of Gouville, no complaints

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Villa ideal for a family vacation. Decorated and arranged for visitors with great care. Also very clean. There are plenty of nearby activities and places to visit. We are delighted with our stay.
