House holiday rentals in Saint-Siffret

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The villa is surrounded by quintessential Provence countryside and the views are spectacular. The villa is very comfortable inside and is finished to a very high standard. The pool is large and the garden is beautifully maintained, making the outdoor spaces very pleasant to relax in. We were just a couple with a young baby, but the villa would be ideal for a larger group. The village of Villedieu is a short (5-10 min) walk down the hill, and is very pretty and peaceful. There is a nice square where you can sit and have a drink, and there is also an Epicerie for essentials. Other recommendations include: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (particularly Le Verger des Papes), Avignon and Pont du Gard, which are all within driving distance (45 mins to 1 hr). The host (Simon) also had some other good recommendations.

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

Un lieu incroyablement agréable, un environnement paisible et lumineux. C’était un vrai bonheur de séjourner dans la maison d’Alexandre : les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables, l’extérieur parfaitement entretenu et l’accueil d’Alexandre parfait, sachant qu’il a su faire prendre d’une grande flexibilité au niveau de l’horaire d’arrivée. Le village est particulièrement accueillant et beau. Encore merci pour ce très beau séjour !

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Le lieu est bucolique et calme, la maison exceptionnelle d’originalité, de confort et d’élégance, la piscine très agréable (surtout après une rando)… Et pour ne rien gâcher, Gaëlle et Thomas sont d’une gentillesse (et d’une discrétion) absolue. Que dire de plus, à part inciter ceux qui liront cet avis à y aller ?

Det var en dejlig oplevelse at bo i dette lille hus. Super fint indrettet - meget privat - og perfekt til os. Marta og Robert var søde og imødekommende. Helt klart en af vores bedre oplevelser med at leje gennnem airbn’b.

Logement très propre, fonctionnel et confortable. Avec aussi un joli cachet. Emplacement parfait. Petite rando de 4km pour accéder au pont du gard. A proximité d'Uzès et d'Avignon. Nous sommes très content de notre séjour.

After a very long day of driving this was the perfect place to relax for the evening. Bigger than I expected, comfortable bed and in a very cute little village! Romane was able to be very flexible about my checkin time which was greatly appreciated.

Un coin de paradis ! Je cherchais à la fois le charme des vieilles pierres, de la nature, du jardin arboré et la fonctionnalité d'un logement moderne, j'ai été subjuguée, c'était parfait ! Nous avons séjourné avec nos 2 enfants de 6 et 8 ans, le rêve pour elles. J'avais peur que la piscine ne soit trop petite mais pas du tout, elle est plus grande que sur les photos, elles s'y sont amusées pendant 5 jours sans se lasser. Je loue souvent sur airbnb et je trouve rarement des pépites comme ce logement.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous property. Jean-Paul communicated with us through every detail, offered local suggestions and ensured the place was set up for our little 6 month old to be as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect - in a picturesque little town but close enough to numerous beautiful small villages and larger cities all worthy of exploring. We had an amazing two week vacation here and could not recommend it enough! We will absolutely be back

Unser Aufenthalt in Saint Maximin hat uns besonders gut gefallen: - Check in und out total unproblematisch und auf unsere Bedürfnisse abgestimmt - Kommunikation jederzeit schnell und freundlich - Haus klein, aber für 2 Personen perfekt, gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber - schönes Ambiente - Pool und Garten herausragend - Uzès auf jeden Fall erlebenswert - Umgebung abwechslungsreich. Ganz kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Schnellstraße in Hörnähe. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Le logement de Pierre et Sarah est exceptionnel en tous points. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire, accueillis avec attention et simplicité. Nous avons hâte de revenir Victoria, Fabrice, Louisa et Manon

A wonderful home in a beautiful village. Parking is on-street within close proximity of the house. There are a couple of restaurants in the village, although check opening times; we were unable to get a table as we hadn’t booked. They looked nice though. 10min drive in to Uzès - which is absolutely lovely. A great place from which to explore and only 10mins from Pont du Gard. The house has air conditioning and the pool is wonderful - the kids loved it. Highly recommend.

Paola nous a accueilli avec une grande gentillesse et nous a confié sa jolie maison pour quelques jours et nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison est récente, fonctionnelle et décorée avec goût. L’orientation est parfaite pour profiter du soleil une très grande partie de la journée mais c’est surtout le calme que nous avons apprécié le plus.

C'est toujours un plaisir de pouvoir découvrir un lieu authentique et plein de charme. La rénovation effectuée par Julie et Romain, avec goût et talent, est très réussie. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans leur maison.

Maison incroyable dans un petit hameau extrêmement calme. La maison est très belle, suréquipée et aménagée avec goût. Vraiment un endroit d'exception !

Le Mazet est très charmant, cosy et confortable, dans un environnement calme, très verdoyant et beaucoup d'ombre pour profiter de l'extérieur. On peut se garer très facilement, et il se situe à quelques km d'Uzès. Le Mazet est très bien équipé et l'hôte est charmante.

logement agréable au calme. piscine très grande et très bien entretenue. équipements et vaisselles en bonne quantité. barbecue a gaz neuf. maison agréable pour profiter des beaux jours en jouant à la pétanque avec des amis. je recommande.
