We booked to stay with Pippa last minute as we were having car trouble and were due to fly from Bristol airport the next morning. Pippa was very responsive and approved our booking swiftly. Pippa gave clear instructions for us when we got to the property. It was immaculately clean, cosy and overall a gem of a find. It was the first time we have travelled away with our 5 month old baby, and Pippa had a cot at the property to set up for us which was so helpful. The bed was super comfy and we all had a great nights rest before a long day of travelling. Only 5 miles from the airport too, so great location to stay before flying from Bristol. Would highly recommend and would book again in future. 5* host and property!

Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

The cottage is delightfully quirky with so many interesting touches - the hosts clearly have great taste and you can just tell they've really thought about the details. I had a wonderful stay at this property during my trip to Bath! The location was absolutely amazing—super convenient with quick and easy routes straight into the city, which made exploring Bath so simple. One of the standout features was the parking: it was easily accessible and there was always space available, which took a lot of stress out of the trip. The house itself was spotless and very well maintained. It felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment I stepped in—a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Overall, it was a great experience and I truly hope to stay here again on my next visit to Bath. Highly recommended and thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful family celebration weekend at Lydes Farm. The house and garden is beautiful and provided an amazing setting for family fun. We experienced an issue with the boiler and BCE were extremely responsive in fixing the problem sending out an engineer within 2 hours. We would recommend Lydes Farm as a great place to stay; sleeps 12 very comfortably with lots of space to relax and chill. Thank you for a great weekend.

Lovely Georgian house with lots of original features and very comfortable. Plenty of downstairs space which was also great as we brought our dog's crate with us for her to sleep in and there were plenty of location options for that. Lovely secluded, sunny and enclosed garden at the front. The super king and king size double bedrooms were very comfortable - especially the mattresses. Easy walks with the dog from the house - steep hills though but amazing views in to Bath and across the valley. 5 minutes drive to the Park & Ride on Saturday. Just one bathroom but plenty of room, good shower and lots of light.

What an stunning place to stay with incredible views. The Couch House had everything I needed for my 10 day stay and was comfortable in every way. It's easy to access different areas of the coast and only 20 minutes from Bristol but the best bit was sitting on the patio with my book just listening to the birds. I would throughly recommend Mike and Ginny's place. They are excellent hosts who have fantastic knowledge of the North Somerset area which they're happy to share. Hopefully, I'll get back there one day.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, kids loved the swimming pool. Facilities fantastic and an extremely comfortable stay for all.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Joanna and Philip were very lovely and friendly host. The space is beautiful and very peaceful and exactly as described. I did all my cooking in the well equipped kitchen and really enjoyed using the pool, sauna and cold bath, which was the main reason I booked. Even though I didn't drive, it's easy to get a taxi from Frome train station and it's also a 40 minutes to get there from the station.

Just back from a wonderful stay. It was perfect for a family get together and the spa was absolutely wonderful. Eleanor was incredibly helpful and friendly. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby and lovely restaurants/ cosy pubs within a short drive too. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay! The app with info, in-house info and the booking system for the pool were all very informative and helpful, much appreciated. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, and the pool (the main reason for our stay) was a true highlight. To be able to book in with a lot of flexibility and privacy was wonderful, as well as the long hours available for booking. Cream tea on arrival was delicious! The property itself has everything you need, and we can't wait to book to stay again.

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

The Parlor is out in the country. The atmosphere is peaceful. It is a drive to get to the flat and you will need a car to get to a restaurant. We loved the peaceful environment. The rooms are spacious and bright during the day. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the charcoal grill to cook a meal on. We highly recommend.

The Best of Bristol experience Everyone who knows Bristol knows if you can walk for an unlimited time then this is the place to be. This is our second time here at the Vault and although under new owners, it was as good as we experienced the last time. The change is only that there are now no parking permits but that didn’t impact us too much as we parked for under £7 from 6pm to 9am right outside the flat and then were out for the daytimes anyway. There are a number of free places to park on the downs and Ubers are cheap. The location is the best location in Bristol as far as we are concerned. Close to so many things to do and lots of fab walks along the river or up to Clifton. Check out London shows on at Hippodrome (5 min walk away). We will continue to stay here for the Best of Bristol experience and thoroughly recommend the vault.

Beautiful home, well equipped & lovely area. Lots to do, places to eat or to pop out for a drink. Hot tub is so relaxing. Julie is a great host, always responsive and so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

The amenities were top notch : the towels were best ever, shower was wonderful and bed linens of the highest quality. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few days we spent in Bristol. Our only challenge was the staircase . Perhaps not the ideal location for older folk.

We enjoyed the comfortable, quirky interiors of this charming home with lots of lovely plants and things of interest and liked the big kitchen/diner with french doors to sit outside in the garden and good sized bedrooms all with a comfy mattress. It was quite a walk to get into the centre through some very urban areas so some useful welcome info for bus routes etc and where to find things would be good for guests but googlemaps came in handy. Quirky pub Duke of York with skittles to play and where you can bring in your own food round the corner through the little park was something to see and Cafe Napolita did good pizzas aswell as Better Foods only a 2 minute walk for coffees/pastries and shopping, also a cook kids art scrapstore upstairs! Would come again..

Catherine was so accommodating a friendly, helping with parking and check in, easy instructions. A beautiful property with all the amenities you could ask for, a perfect stay for a couple and a dog. The garden is beautiful with a sun trap decking with stunning views for miles, a fantastic place to stay, all attractions on cheddar are walkable to no need to take the car out!

Lovely place and host was absolutely lovely, just one thing to bear in mind is you're staying within someone's home so doesn't feel as private as some other stays, that being said great value and perfect for a weekend trip to Bristol
