Cottage holiday rentals in Saint Michael's Mount

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Our stay in Fowey was nothing short of magical, and this Airbnb made it even more special. The location is fantastic -yes, it’s partway up a hill, but the stroll into town is short, scenic, and lined with the most charming restaurants and harborfont bars. Fowey itself is absolutely adorable. The converted schoolhouse is truly one-of-a-kind. The hosts did an amazing job preserving the original charm while creating a modern, inviting space that’s perfect for entertaining. And the hot tub overlooking the harbor? Unreal. I probably spent half the trip soaking in it. There were even thoughtful touches like umbrellas to borrow, which came in handy in classic English weather. We did experience a minor issue with noise from neighbors in an adjoining unit, but the host was incredibly responsive and professional. They made it clear they cared and took swift action to make sure we were comfortable.

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay in Perranporth! Loved our stay here — spotless, stylish, and super comfy. The location was perfect: peaceful, yet close to the beach and town. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after long coastal walks. Great hosts — we’ll definitely be back!

Tracy was very responsive and helpful. You immediately felt like she really cares that her guests have every comfort and feel welcome. The clotted cream and scones on arrival were a lovely touch that we really appreciated. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you can possibly need. The area was perfect for us and easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit us St Ives, Falmouth to name just two. Our only regret was that it was only a 3 night stay this time but we will be sure to return for longer next time.

We stayed at Mellinzeath 28 years ago for a week of our honeymoon, and decided to revisit for our anniversary. What a transformation! The property has been restored beautifully and sympathetically, and now feels loved again. Everything - the materials used for the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and equipment - is of excellent quality, and there are many little touches which make it extra welcoming. Even Obi, our dog, had his own welcome pack and a warm shower outside. This is a very special property in a tranquil, secluded setting, with nothing but the birds for company. Wish it had been like this for our honeymoon.....

Lovely stay, the house is quirky and interesting, with lovely light in the kitchen and a cosy wood burner. We were able to walk the dog each day from the house with out getting in the car, and were just minutes from the beautiful coastline, either direction you walk in is just beautiful and the Botallack mine is nearby which is very interesting and has a cafe. Beautiful house that is clearly well loved and has a lot of history.

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. We stayed at Blackbird Studio for five nights and really enjoyed it as our base to explore Cornwall. While the weather wasn’t the best, the house made our stay memorable. The views are really stunning and you have your own little English garden. St Ives and various dog friendly beaches can be reached within a couple of minutes. The house was even more spacious than expected and equipped with everything you need. Lorna made sure we arrived safely and was always on hand. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is very (very!) narrow, but we managed to get through for unpacking/packing and parked in the little carveout by the road on the other days, which was completely fine.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Mary was such a gracious and wonderfully charming host that I would have loved to spend more time at her cottage. During my stay, Mary showed me the surrounding area, including a beautiful garden and her field, and Mary & her partner Charles also gave me a lift to a pub for dinner. Mary & Charles are both very knowledgable and I enjoyed learning about the history and geology of Cornwall from them!

We had a fantastic three days at the Captains cottage. We found the place as described and Amy is an attentive and responsive host. The cottage has been refurbished and furnished beautifully. Everything was in good working order and considering that the house is 300 years old, there is good space and the layout works really well. The cottage lies within walking distance of the South West path and some breathtakingly beautiful beaches are all within half an hours drive. Shops and pubs near by. We loved the welcome touches such as the makings of a cream tea with clotted cream and a pint of milk! Fantastic gem in the most beautiful part of Cornwall. Thank you Amy 😃

What a lovely cottage in a great location. Everything you could need was here with the addition of treats left by the owner Michelle to welcome us. Very comfy bed and practical wet room. Nearby the Miners Arms 2 or 3 minute walk away was an added bonus for drinks and food. We can highly recommend this characterful cottage and its owner Michelle. Thanks again Andy and Kate

My wife & I along with our 3 month old baby spent a week at William's cottage. William is an attentive host, providing clear instructions and assisting with any questions we had in a punctual manner. We primarily used the cottage as a base to explore the area each day and it was a perfect place to come home to. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard with modern fittings. We noted how quiet and cozy the cottage is in the evenings. Porthleven is a small town and the cottage is a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Kota Kai is definitely a recommended restaurant as family friendly and excellent food.

Zennor Cottage is absolutely lovely. Spacious, clean, great location for walking to St Michael's mount, equipped kitchen, just wonderful. Ed was so helpful and communicative and went above and beyond helping me figure out my train and getting a package I needed. Polite, responsive, and kind. I felt right at home and only wish I could have stayed longer! I definitely recommend staying here. The wifi was great for working as well and the bed was comfy, shower nice and hot and it was so nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine as well. Thank you Ed!

Just returned after staying 4 nights at the smithy & we had a lovely time whilst there. Kassie is an amazing host & always on hand to help with any enquiries or with local knowledge. The smithy is idealic & has everything that you need for a few days away, Kassie also made an amazing lemon drizzle cake upon our arrival which didn’t last very long! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Cornwall, loved every minute of it.

Praze Barn is the loveliest place to stay for a peaceful retreat. We had the nicest time - the local area is amazingly beautiful and the barn felt fitting to return to as it was gorgeous, cozy and bright. Lots of great info about the area in the guide left in the house which was really useful. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you want a peaceful weekend away - perfect place to reset!

The Bobbin is a stylish and cosy property located right in the heart of St Ives. It felt special to stay in place that has a gorgeous mix of Cornish architecture and modern amenities. We had a lovely holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Nutshell. The cottage was cosy and a perfect size for a short stay for 2 of us. Wonderful views and a nice selection of pubs, restaurants and bakeries in walking distance
