Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Anne’s guesthouse is a lovely little gem. It’s tastefully furnished and decorated and has a lovely location at the back of the family’s garden. The shared pool is a nice bonus, it’s very refreshing to cool off on a hot day. The neighborhood is very nice - residential, quiet but right next to the parc and within walking distance to the center (15-20 minutes). Anne is a lovely host; she and her family are a pleasure to stay with. You will also get to meet family dog Tina, who loves to play in the garden. 🐶

Anais and Pierre were very welcoming - and Anais gave a little tour so we could get down to the pool, get pointed out the garbage room and settle in. The apartment was absolutely perfect - with a balcony in the shade in the afternoon, so it was perfect for the evening meal. Electric kettle and coffee machine as well as pots and pans in perfect order. We have had the best stay;)
