Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Saint Lawrence River

We had a great stay in this lovely apartment in Madawaska Me. It had everything that you could possibly need, including a washer and dryer in the unit. The apartment was very clean and is in great condition. It has a work area/desk off to the side of the bedroom which my husband was able to work at comfortably. We took some nice walks around town- it has a few restaurants, a Tim Hortons and a Tastee freeze within walking distance. It was very quiet. Alex was very easy to reach with just a few questions I had- he answered right away. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Madawaska.

The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

This is a magical place. If you need a rejuvenating retreat by yourself or with someone you love, this is the place. Every bit is intentional and feels thoughtful. The reading/bath area is so beautiful and sitting with a cup of coffee, candle burning, bubble bath, and a book, I felt like I was in a movie. Valérie and Bruno are also very helpful with questions or recommendations we needed. If you’re looking for a place with stuff to do near by, this isn’t the place, but if you want a cozy cottage feel romantic get away, there isn’t a better place.

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

Jean and Wade were wonderful hosts. We especially appreciated the farm fresh eggs and other supplies available upon our arrival. Beautiful rustic countryside location and farm steeped in history as old as the majestic oak trees surrounding it.

Sylvie's place is welcoming, clean and quiet. It had everything we needed and more. We were super comfortable. Sylvie was helpful and responsive. We'd definitely recommend this suite.

Our stay at Tim & Joanne’s was great! We’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Anytime we had a question they were quick to help. The place itself is very cozy and we felt very comfy. The only thing we wish is it were a bit closer to Mt. Abram, which is where we were skiing, but that only applies to our situation. Overall it was a great place to stay with great hosts!

We stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer! The views were spectacular from all three floors. The house was clean, comfortable, and luxurious. There was plenty of room for the eight of us, with many separate, open areas so that we never felt crowded or cramped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and there was plenty of room to cook a big meal and share it together in the dining area. The coffee was excellent, but unfortunately there was only enough coffee provided for one small pot. Tip: if you can’t find the entry code or the wifi password in the app in English-language instructions, look in the French instructions. That’s what we had to do to find them. Coffee and in-app instructions aside, we completely enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again in the future.

Our stay here was great. it was rainy until the morning we checked out, which was a bummer, but the covered hot tub area was used each night instead. the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and basic spices. I brought my own coffee for the Keurig but there was complimentary coffee pods, tea, and hot cocoa available as well. lots of games to play, artwork to look at. the dishwasher is very small so you can't fit much in there but luckily we were only 2 people. the only slight negative was the pellet stove being in the bedroom downstairs, only because of how noisy it is when it's running. it made it near impossible to sleep with it on if you're a light sleeper at all. overall, fantastic stay and thank you so much

Look no further if you're traveling with toddlers—this Airbnb is a dream for families! The location is perfect: tucked just outside of Stowe, it offers peaceful country vibes, a spacious backyard, and stunning mountain views from every window—all while being just a short drive from town. What really sets this home apart is how toddler-friendly it is. It's a BabyQuip heaven—stocked with everything from a high chair and nugget couch (iykyk!), to Fisher Price Little People toys, coloring supplies, a train set, games, and more. Our toddler had a blast and was perfectly content spending evenings at the house, thanks to the endless entertainment options. The host went above and beyond—the home was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend for any family looking for a relaxing, kid-friendly escape in Vermont!

Clean home with comfortable beds and lots of space for a family

We had an absolutely amazing time here. We spent a lot of time cooking and sharing meals on the back porch that had a breathtaking view of the mountains and water. The movie theatre was such a fun addition to an already stunning home. I chose this place because of its beautiful scenery and interior so that I could propose to my girlfriend of 7 years. She said yes! I can’t thank Darryl enough for sharing such a beautiful home and fun experience. We would absolutely rent again!

Me and my friend came from 2 different countries to stay here in this air bnb in canada. The hosts were amazing, caring, accommodating, and very responsive. The home is beautiful, peaceful neighborhood, great parking. The spa/ hot tub is wonderful on top of the wood fire pit outside. This place felt like home away from home. Plan to stay here again in the future.

Jessica's beach house is idyllic, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and the surroundings are perfect for a getaway in a gorgeous, quiet, peaceful setting. Even in the depths of a weather-filled winter, it offered warmth and views and easy access to groceries and necessities and the utterly charming Saint John proper. The house itself is heaven with so many places to relax and soak in the views of the bay and the amazing sunrises. Jessica was a communicator par excellence, lightning fast and attentive. In short, our stay felt like a wonderful dream. Thanks, Jessica.

Amazing location, super functional, comfortable and clean. 2 min from Videotron centre and 40 min walk to old Quebec using the Riviere St-Charles pathway. 3rd Avenue with top rated restaurants is a 15min walk away. Very friendly neighborhood. The place is super clean, functional, quiet and all is made for a great stay. Beds are super comfy and you can sleep with the windows open as the surroundings are incredibly quiet. Recommend ++

I had a great time here. Checking in was fast and we were given a map of the place as well. The room had a balcony with an amazing views of the mountain. I would definitely come back here again.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich schön und optimal gelegen. Sie war sauber und hatte alles was es braucht. :-) Der See in der Nähe, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es genug, und die Gegend hat einiges zu bieten. Die Töpfe und Pfannen sollten mal wieder gewechselt werden, beim Kochen brennt alles noch an. Ansonsten - alles super! Wir würden wieder kommen!

My husband and I stayed for a month at Amanda's place and it was modern and very clean. I'm a bit of a clean freak and allergic to pet dander, so I only stay in places that don't allow pets. The condo has every amenity you could imagine - from a Weber grill to beach chairs to an instant pot. And if you don't want to cook there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Her condo was exactly as she described and as she showed in the pictures. The view of the lake from the front deck is breathtaking and the back deck faces a private wooded area. We spent many mornings having our coffee overlooking the lake and watching the boats go by. There's also plenty of space to work remotely including a private office area on the ground floor. There are 6 units in the condo complex and we met several of the neighbors who were lovely, considerate people. If you're considering a stay in the lakes region, look no further. This is the place.

I have to start off by saying that I was quite impressed by how clean this condo was. It was so inviting with a light smell of cinnamon in the air. I felt like I was at home only better than my actual home. The coziest blankets comfortable bed… an extra place to sleep right under the TV was a great comfortable spot. The appliances and furniture are high-quality and it has everything you could need. We really loved how private it was, and how serene it was to have the view of the mountains and being able to hear the rushing waters with the windows open. Beautiful spacious porch. It was a lovely experience, having coffee out there and enjoying the sites and sounds. The rest of the lodge was very clean and a pleasure to be in also. We enjoyed our time at the pool and hot tub and we will most definitely be coming here again. One night was not enough for us. I just want to thank Jess and Ashley for having such a lovely place that they are sharing with people who will appreciate it.

If you're going to Gilford for a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion, I can't imagine a better spot. It's literally about 300 feet from the back of the venue and easy access to the entrance. We sat on the back balcony and listened to Zac Brown Band do their sound check the day of the show! On top of that, the place was cozy and clean, and very quiet throughout the night. Lisa is an outstanding host. Very communicative! This will be our first choice if we ever come back!
