Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Jean-le-Vieux

Emmanuelle’s place warrants all the 5* reviews, including my own. It is an incredibly comfortable and beautiful house - they have really thought through everything a guest needs. For example, a storm caused some electricity microcuts and not only had they shown me the breaker box, but everything is clearly labeled so it was a 2 minute fix. They really think ahead. The house is also in a spectacular setting and it is an amazing house to relax with family. An added plus is the AC - you don’t need it most of the time, but when you do, you do, and it’s refreshingly powerful. Emmanuelle and her parents are so welcoming, they brought us a gorgeous box of their own veggies from their garden as well as some local treats, and they were responsive to any questions or concerns. I really can’t say enough positive about this house, the area and the hosts. 12/10.

Very beautiful villa, even prettier than in the photo, which allowed us to have a wonderful family stay. Very good support from Hossegor Villas, it makes you want to come back :)

Sandra was a fantastic host greeting us by producing lovely meat, cheese, wine and beer in the bar area. She was contactable throughout our stay and has been helpful sorting out something for me since we left. The property is amazing with 5 bedrooms and several bathrooms/WCs. We used the pool and hot tub every day along with the games room containing a pool table and bar with a fridge and dishwasher. The rear garden is huge and the is a petanque court and table tennis table. There is generous outside space to eat (there were 9 of us) helped by a good sized gas bbq. The kitchen has loads of space with many of the cupboards full of items to be used. The nearest supermarkets (Intermarche & Carrefour) are both a few minutes drive with Carrefour offering low costs fuel. It is a relatively short drive to Bayonne which is a lovely town astride a river with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops with pretty good car parks available. Overall a lovely villa with a fantastic host.

Beautiful chalet located in the valley, five minutes away from the village by car and surrounded by an amazing view of the mountains! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place was spotless when we arrived, very well equipped and as described in the listing. Odile was very friendly, helpful and responsive every time we communicated with her. We definitely recommend this place!

Right! On weekends in the area for a wedding, Patrick's place to stay was just perfect!

Great location close to the beach and under shady trees in a quiet neighborhood. The place is fully equipped, you can tell that Christelle and Benoit have a lot of experience. It's also great that breakfast for the first morning was already provided by Christelle and Benoit, so you can enjoy the vacation from the first minute.

The cottage adjoining Delphine's house is very nice and you feel at home very quickly. The place is quiet and very beautiful. All is well thought out. We had a great time. Thank you to Delphine and her family for hosting us ;)

Communication and hospitality was perfect, very appreciated kindness and kindness. The location is amazing, once the suitcases are packed, everything is easily done on foot. The view from the deck is fantastic. The quality of the bedding is very good and the place is tastefully decorated. EVERYTHING comes together for a very pleasant stay and create wonderful memories.

Annie was there to welcome us & was very pleasant. The flat was in a good location for the beach & restaurants. The flat was ideal for myself & my husband and had everything we needed. As it overlooks the main street my only question would be if it would be noisy later at night.

It is a very quiet place, easy to get to and a stone's throw from Lekunberri. Where there's everything. If you like hiking and nature, Rafa the host can help you as he knows the area quite well.

This is our second stay in Claude's apartments. This time we took advantage of the view on the south side. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet while being very close to restaurants and beaches. Everything was perfect from our point of view.

The house has all the necessary amenities, the cleanliness is impeccable and the location of the house has stunning views. The area has many possibilities for sightseeing and nature walks. Arantxa was very nice and was always available for our questions and showed flexibility at check-in time. We'll save it in favorites and hope to return soon

Very pleasant stay at Aña's who was a very good host, always available and attentive. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen very well-equipped which is rare. Sare is a very charming village with pretty walks and hikes starting from the village.

Very nice and well located accommodation, perfect for discovering the area which offers many activities. The hosts were welcoming and available. A beautiful place to enjoy the area in peace!

Quiet vacation in a beautiful setting, chalet overlooking the mountains in the middle of sheep and cows, a treat for those who want to disconnect. Our dog loved to enjoy this large space and the walks around, with the nice stream as an extra. Thank you to Cédric and Chloé for their hospitality! 🥰

Very good stay! The apartment is great and Virginie is very welcoming! We came for our anniversary with my spouse and Virginie gave us aperitif cakes and a bottle of champagne! Really very nice! We'll be back, that's for sure 😍

After a very warm welcome from Miren who perfectly praised her region, we had a very good stay in a quiet environment, very well located. Impeccable cleanliness, optimized layout, everything is done to make you feel very good.

Fantastic house!!!! Very attentive Albert and Helene, solving anything at the moment. Upon our arrival they welcomed us with homemade jam, a very good pate and eggs from their beloved chickens that sipped our puppy... I recommend this history-filled home with a fabulous setting, surrounded by charming villages. The house and setting are much better than the pictures. We will definitely repeat. Best regards.

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it a lot.

Very well located accommodation, a short walk to the beach and the center. With a very nice little terrace when the weather is nice.

A just perfect stay! The villa is ideally located in Capbreton: close to the beach, shops, bike paths... everything is within reach. The house is superb, very well maintained and equipped with absolutely everything you need — you feel at home from the moment you arrive. But what really made our stay exceptional was our host: incredibly kind, always available and attentive to make sure everything went well. Her warm welcome really made a difference. We would recommend this villa without a second thought and hope to come back very soon!
