Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière

We had a great stay at Hautmont, we were wowed by the property as soon as we walked in. The drive is tricky to get in and out of, but you eventually get the hang of it. We were welcomed by the owners not long after we arrived and they were responsive throughout our stay to any questions. Hautmont has a homely feeling to the house, with a large lounge, big kitchen and dining table, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Downstairs felt a little dark throughout all times of the day but upstairs bedrooms were light and airy. Basics were provided: hand wash at each sink, good body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and more than enough loo roll for our stay. A generous welcome package too. The kitchen was well stocked with an array of glasses, crockery and cutlery but there is no dishwasher or washing machine. The owners let us use their washing machine however which was very kind. There is a hot tub available for use which we used once, but felt it could've been cleaner in preparation for our stay

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

Very nice house, perfect for two! Great for holidays with dog, the garden is very well fenced. The jacuzzi is great and certainly a highlight! Really nicer than the pictures! Two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), roof terrace upstairs, terrace with jacuzzi downstairs, washer and dryer, bikes, a car parking space, close to the sea and quiet! Really nice is also a basket of dog blankets and bowls.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

Valerie was a great host who was very flexible to accommodate any requests sent her way. Her beautiful home is one I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the proximity and certainly will look for its availability, whenever I think to venture that way.

La Petite Rucgueville is located in a very quiet piece of nature, which was perfect for us. The dogs could romp in the garden and our daughter could also play there well. The layout of the house is very successful, a terrace that directly adjoins the kitchen is perfect. Since towels and bed linen are available and the beds were even made, the holiday could start immediately. Merci Hélène!

Idyllic setting, 🤩a more than relaxing stay. It's green, it's calm, it's the perfect place to disconnect... It's a treat to cycle along these little country roads. Accommodation as described, perfectly equipped and impeccably clean. Recommended 👍

We really enjoyed the apartment offered by Eva. It is very well located in the upper city, it is spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated and well ventilated even during the heatwave. Very nice little attention with some local products. We will come back with great pleasure.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

The accommodation is very well located, quiet and ideal for a family getaway, walking and very close to Granville. 1 fan per room was available to us, 1 big thank you given the heat of this weekend! Heloise is attentive and gives very good advice.

The unit is very well equipped and matches the listing. There are various very well designed spaces. The hot tub area is a real plus. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Normandy area. It was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. The house is located in a charming Norman village not far from Bayeux and a 15 min walk from Omaha Beach, which made it a fantastic base for exploring the region. From there, we were able to visit several other beautiful towns, including Caen, Honfleur, and Étretat. The location truly allowed us to enjoy both the history and natural beauty of Normandy. The amenities were excellent: we especially loved the peaceful patio, the available bikes, and the overall cozy yet elegant feel of the home. While you do need a car to get around, the property has enough space to comfortably park two vehicles. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Normandy!

Responsive and friendly host. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and well-located in relation to the sea. The house is suitable for a family with 1 or 2 children (even with 1 baby). Also suitable for dogs where we could let our female dog roam in the large fenced garden. Looking forward to coming back for the beautiful days and enjoying the garden. A great stay by the sea. Morgane's place is perfect! It's beautiful, clean, convenient, good location and more. The interior is very well designed, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly possibly need is available. The garden is beautiful, well exposed and above all well fenced (ideal with our dog). The hot tub is the plus we would not have thought about but which we enjoyed with pleasure. The beach is very close, the town is pretty and quiet and Morgane has a good suggestion if you are looking for activities nearby. We really had a great week, thank you again to our hosts for their great place and their responsiveness in answering our questions. I would recommend it in a second!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!
