Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière

We had a great stay at Hautmont, we were wowed by the property as soon as we walked in. The drive is tricky to get in and out of, but you eventually get the hang of it. We were welcomed by the owners not long after we arrived and they were responsive throughout our stay to any questions. Hautmont has a homely feeling to the house, with a large lounge, big kitchen and dining table, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. Downstairs felt a little dark throughout all times of the day but upstairs bedrooms were light and airy. Basics were provided: hand wash at each sink, good body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and more than enough loo roll for our stay. A generous welcome package too. The kitchen was well stocked with an array of glasses, crockery and cutlery but there is no dishwasher or washing machine. The owners let us use their washing machine however which was very kind. There is a hot tub available for use which we used once, but felt it could've been cleaner in preparation for our stay

Das Haus direkt am Meer was überwältigigend schön. Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche Sehr gut ausgestattet von A wie Austernbrecher bis Z wie Zitronenpresse ,alles da um ausgiebig zu Kochen. Internet super schnell ! Es wurde an genügend Steckdosen und Leisten gedacht um elektronische Geräte bequem zu laden. Der Pelletofen ist leicht zu bedienen und bringt eine behagliche Atmosphäre, wenn es draußen stürmt und kalt ist. Die Umgebung ganz wunderbar zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren. Kleiner Supermarkt in Quinéville. Weitere gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Quettehou ( auch prima Bioladen !) Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!

Vaak in cottages verbleven in Schotland en de plek van Sandrine deed me daar aan terugdenken. Het is zowel binnen als buiten heerlijk vertoeven. Rustig en centraal gelegen.

Sehr schönes Haus, perfekt für Zwei! Toll für Urlaub mit Hund, der Garten ist sehr gut umzäunt. Der Whirpool ist super und sicherlich ein Highlight! Wirklich noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Zwei Bäder (eins oben, eins unten), Dachterasse oben, Terrasse mit Whirpool unten, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Fahrräder, einen Autostellplatz, nah am Meer und ruhig! Wirklich nett ist auch ein Korb mit Hundedecken und Näpfen.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

Nous avons trouvé chez Valérie une prestation haut de gamme ,arrivée autonome ,environnement très calme ,logement très confortable avec sa douche xl et une bonne literie avec en plus la mer à proximité. Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses visites à 1/2h du logement pour visiter le cotentin A réserver sans soucis

La Petite Rucgueville liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Stück Natur, was für uns perfekt war. Die Hunde konnten im Garten toben und auch unsere Tochter konnte dort gut spielen. Die Einteilung des Hauses ist sehr gelungen, eine Terrasse, die sich direkt an die Küche anschließt, ist perfekt. Da Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden sind und die Betten sogar bezogen waren, konnte der Urlaub sofort losgehen. Merci Hélène!

Cadre idyllique 🤩un séjour plus que reposant. C’est vert, c’est calme, c’est le lieu rêvé pour déconnecter… Un régal de sillonner ces petites routes de campagne en vélo. Logement conforme à la description, parfaitement équipé et d’une propreté irréprochable. À conseiller 👍

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la l'appartement proposé par Eva. Il est très bien placé dans la haute ville, il est vaste, bien équipé, joliment décoré et bien ventilé même période de canicule. Petite attention très gentille avec quelques produits du terroir.Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Le logement est très bien placé, calme et idéal pour 1 moment en famille, balade à pieds et très proche de Granville. 1 ventilateur par pièce était à notre disposition, 1 grand merci vue la chaleur de ce week end! Héloïse est à notre écoute et est de très bons conseils.

Le logement est très bien équipé et correspond à l'annonce. Il y a différents espaces très bien conçus. L'espace jacuzzi est un vrai plus. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir.

L’appartement est un cocoon chaleureux et confortable pour une escapade hivernale 👌🏻 Les petites soirées au coin du feu 🔥, un must ! Si la météo n’est pas favorable aux balades sur la plage toute proche, l’appartement saura offrir tout ce qu’il faut pour ne pas voir le temps passer… Exactement ce que l’on recherchait pour ces vacances de nouvel an avec notre bébé de 8 mois. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Normandy area. It was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. The house is located in a charming Norman village not far from Bayeux and a 15 min walk from Omaha Beach, which made it a fantastic base for exploring the region. From there, we were able to visit several other beautiful towns, including Caen, Honfleur, and Étretat. The location truly allowed us to enjoy both the history and natural beauty of Normandy. The amenities were excellent: we especially loved the peaceful patio, the available bikes, and the overall cozy yet elegant feel of the home. While you do need a car to get around, the property has enough space to comfortably park two vehicles. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Normandy!

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette jolie maison confortable décorée avec goût et proche de la plage Le cadre est paisible nous nous sommes bien ressourcés pour débuter nos vacances Jean Christophe est tres sympathique et réactif

Hôte réactive et sympathique. Le logement est propre, bien équipée et bien situé par rapport à la mer. La maison est adapté pour une famille avec 1 ou 2 enfants (même avec 1 bébé). Également adapté pour les chiens où nous avons pu laisser notre chienne gambader dans le grand jardin clôturé. Hâte de revenir pour les beaux jours et de pouvoir profiter du jardin. Nous recommandons ce logement et son hôte à 100% !

Un super séjour au bord de la mer. Le logement de Morgane est parfait ! Il est beau, propre, pratique, bien situé et plus encore. L'intérieur est très bien conçu, spacieux et comfortable. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est à disposition. Le jardin est magnifique, bien exposé et surtout bien clôturé (idéal avec notre chien). Le jacuzzi est le + auquel nous n'aurions pas pensé mais dont nous avons profité avec plaisir. La plage est toute proche, la ville est jolie et calme et Morgane a de bonne suggestion si vous cherchez des activités dans les alentours. Nous avons vraiment passé une belle semaine, encore merci à nos hôtes pour leur super logement et leur réactivité pour répondre à nos questions. Je recommande sans hésitation !

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!
