Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Gatien-des-Bois

We enjoyed the airbnb very much! The apartment itself is top and exactly as described. Thanks to many windows, the attic is also no problem on warm days, in the evening it runs well and becomes pleasantly cool. From the front door to the apartment you have to climb some stairs and a somewhat bumpy hallway, so with heavy suitcases a bit of hassle, but still easy to do! The location is optimal (a little noisy with traffic in front of the street with open windows, but not particularly disturbing) with bakery and market right next door. In less than 10 minutes you are also on the beach and the area is easily accessible. For us a great base to explore the Côte d 'Albâtre would come back!

We loved this peaceful haven, the pool and the jacuzzi are a real plus despite the proximity to the sea, we will come back to one of the other cottages in the estate as a family, that's for sure!

Clean and welcoming space. We were 4 friends present for the Deauville Marathon. Small alert plus for the following marathoners: the race passes in front of the residence, impossible to go out to get to the departure by car. So plan to leave early or plan a 4km warm-up☺️. Nothing to say about the quality of the property. I would recommend it without hesitating

The listing is as described. Modern building, quality services, secure parking space, fitness room. It is very well located (a few minutes' walk from the city center), restaurant nearby, shops. The host is very nice and responsive; excellent communication. Check-in was easy and the instructions were very clear.

Wonderful place to stay in Caen, beautiful and spacious apartment. Very peaceful due to double glazing. Fantastic location, in walking distance to dozens of restaurants and shops, waterfront bars and Caen Castle. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to Arthur for his availability and the cleanliness of his apartment. The residence is quiet. The apartment is located in front of the start of the Marathon des Courants de Liberté, which is ideal.

The accommodation is very well located (ground floor) and you have everything you need inside with a small + its small open terrace. Nothing to say... Otherwise Thérèse and Daniel are very responsive for any additional information.

Nice apartment, location is ideal, on the 2nd floor with no lift. It was a different appartement from the photos (looks like they have 4) but we’ll equiped and similar. It a quiet location very central and was clean

We visited from the US and were taken back by the beauty of this little gem. The house is beautiful, peaceful, quiet and so charming. It is very secluded so beware, without a car you are stuck “in the middle of nowhere”. We had a friend driving us around so that made it just a place to sleep. She left us breakfast outside our door in the morning which was eggs, yogurt, a baguette and a couple of croissants. The hosts are SO kind and helpful and speak decent English to help make your stay great.

Great place. Very clean. In a good location with a convenience store very close by. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Madalen was very friendly and helpful. Overall, very good value for money.

Shortened stay for personal reasons. However, very responsive and easily reachable host. Well located accommodation in the city of Caen and as described. I recommend it.

The rental is superb, everything that is listed is real Very quiet, not far from the sea this...

We had a great time in Nicole's house: very large, with all the necessary amenities (if you like to cook, you will find everything you need); family home spirit, with many books and games available, all decorated and comfortable, with a very large beautiful and well-maintained garden. The Domaine is a real joy, in the forest, with amenities that we took advantage of, such as the heated indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and the "castle". The location is perfect for visiting the area: 25 minutes from Deauville or Cabourg, 45 minutes from the Caen Memorial, and a little more to see the landing beaches. We highly recommend Nicole's house for a vacation not quite like the others, in a very privileged setting:)

Brigitte's home is lovely. We are a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 teenagers celebrating a special birthday and anniversary. The house was perfect for us. The location was peaceful with open views of fields from the garden. The pool was amazing, we all enjoyed fun times in there. The Sauna was very much appreciated after the activities in the pool. We also enjoyed the Football and Table Tennis and the bikes. We biked to Merville where there are a few shops including a bakery. We also enjoyed a bike ride to Pegagus Bridge and The Battery at Merville. The house is perfectly located for D Day beaches and other historical sites. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved cooking on the BBQ. It was lovely meeting Verione who was waiting to greet us at the house. We all had a fantastic holiday. Thank you. Anne

Great stay! House was just as described and in the perfect location it was very secure with gated access. Nelly is a fantastic host, very quick to respond to messages and greeted us on arrival to show us around. Nice touch to include some DVDs, we had a few evenings watching the classic war films provided. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal! 5 mins walk to the beach/town which has a safe atmosphere, great bakery for morning croissants Clair de Lune (5 Bd Gilbert Longuet) and very friendly pub The Mary Celeste (5 Rue Colonel René Michel) for an evening drink. Ideal location to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches and museum due to it central location on Gold Beach all others are less than an hour’s drive (Juno Beach 20 mins, Omaha 30mins, Sword Beach 40 mins, Utah 50 mins) and the lovely town of Bayeux only 15 mins away, where there is a large supermarket and the famous tapestry.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very comfortable and well-decorated. Finally, the house is well located, very central to shine in the different villages.

We had a great weekend of May 8 with friends in Pascal's pretty Normandy farmhouse, under a beautiful sun. Very good welcome from him, with flexible check-in and check-out times. Green and quiet environment. Very clean cottage, in line with the photos and its location is ideal for visiting the pretty Normandy seaside resorts. We would highly recommend it.
