Great stay. Perfect location, lovely little house perfect for our needs and really quiet.

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! We stayed here from the 14-21st September. The accommodation was perfect, very spacious, and beautifully maintained. The resort itself is beautiful and tranquil, we would 100000% visit again! This is a pet friendly lodge so upon arrival do not expect the accommodation to be perfectly clean, we found it clean but not clean to a high standard and there were a few issues with cleanliness but with a quick 10 min clean with the other guests I was staying with it was fine! - I’d definitely return

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Brilliant place to stay! Especially for families. Lot's to do on the resort, and a short dive away from coast! Jodie was a fantastic host! This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

It was our first time visiting cornwall and this was a great base for everything we wanted to do. Elga was a great host, and made things extremely easy for us. We couldn't have asked for a better place or host, so a massive thank you to Elga. I'm sure we'll return again one day!

The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfy. Andy and Joanne were fantastic hosts, providing local recommendations and even sending information on exercise classes and sauna sessions Andy has started running, which I highly recommend! Thanks for an excellent stay!

An absolute gem! We’ve just returned from Skiber Coth, and it truly is a stunning home. Jeremy was a fantastic host. Friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful information. Check-in was seamless, and the amenities were top notch! It really felt like a home away from home, so peaceful and quiet. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved enjoying breakfast while taking in the gorgeous countryside views. We highly recommend this beautiful stay for anyone visiting Cornwall. It’s just minutes from the A30, making it a perfect base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. Loved staying here for a few days this week. Fantastic property. Exactly as described. Met by host on arrival. Great comms before getting there and to arrange check out. Coastal path and beach is walkable, which was great for the evenings in the hot weather. Would definitely stay again.

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nick and Laura’s property. It really does have the wow factor with impressive features and beautifully finished. Our children loved their high bed and being able to feed the chickens and collect their eggs! We loved the location of the property too, a rural location very close to Newquay/ watergate bay or our favourite beach which was Mawgan Porth. Nick and Laura are the perfect hosts, thank you! We would love to come back again :)

Just wow! The perfect house for our first family holiday! We loved every bit of this beautiful home and it feels very loved and well cared for and everything is in great condition. The main thing we loved was it was SPOTLESS! We were blown away by how clean it was it’s the cleanest place we’ve stayed it was hotel standard. This was much appreciated travelling with our baby. The rooms were perfect for our set up for the baby and we really enjoyed the garden and balcony in the evenings. It’s the perfect surf shack off the beach. We found the parking was absolutely all we needed and although it wasn’t very walkable to the beach for us but that’s because we have a baby and too much stuff to take and not the houses fault it’s a short roll down the hill in the car. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Just fabulous! Beautiful lodge with artful decoration & dressing, plus a breathtaking view out over the river, day & night. Really well equipped modern kitchen & bathroom, ample power points, soft & bright lighting to suit your mood, comfy bed & pillows, comfy seating both indoors & on the patio. Claire has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect!

This townhouse was perfect for our long weekend with friends. Christine was very responsive and the whole trip was really smooth from start to finish. The view from the rooftop terrace and rooms was stunning too, and there were even some snacks for us to have when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place!

What a great family holiday home , with all modern finish and facilities to enjoy outdoor relaxation with hot tub in garden setting and a balcony with a great view of Newquay and fireplace table for cooler nights . We chose this for a family getaway with our adult kids and partners as it has separate bedroom and bathrooms for everyone. Dan was a great host and helped out with all our requests and queries and the little extras on arrival were very welcome and made the check in very special . Big Thanks for a great break

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We absolutely loved the apartment and had an amazing 5 days celebrating my father-in-laws 80th. There were 9 of us but there was more than enough room for us even when we had to hunker down with a movie on a wet day. We will definitely be back!
