We had a lovely stay with friends! Audrey and Michel are very welcoming and friendly hosts. They took the time to explain and show us around the house upon arrival. The cottage is very beautiful, very clean and functional. It has everything for children, the environment is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Also, the area is really beautiful. We'll be back:)

Absolutely perfect stay at Nyree and Jeff's 🌿 Two hosts as we rarely meet: human, warm, discreet, smiling, of genuine kindness. We immediately feel that we are welcomed with kindness and attention. The accommodation was impeccable: clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and above all exceptionally quiet. A true haven of peace. Special mention for the garden, maintained to perfection - a little corner of paradise conducive to total rest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this rejuvenating stay. I'll be back without a second thought.

Perfect accommodation for a total rest, very pleasant. It is in the middle of several iconic places to visit, which allows you to do a lot of things in a weekend! The breakfasts we ordered are excellent, thank you again! We'll be happy to go back!

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

We were delighted with our weekend in this idyllic setting. The decoration is neat, the covered outdoor space with the jacuzzi is particularly pleasant and magical at night. Tranquility is preserved, the comfort of the rental is very pleasant and the location is ideal.

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late in the evening, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a wonderful place. The gite is equipped with all comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance of many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy receiving guests and making them feel at home. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful building, superbly renovated. The environment is very peaceful, the cottage is very well equipped inside and out, with beautiful decoration. Communication was excellent with the host who is responsive and pleasant. Really a great discovery!

a 4-day weekend with friends we had a great stay lots of things to visit the river is nice and Christine was very kind everything was there we plan to come back next summer to visit a little more and be able to recharge. Thank you again

Beautiful stay by the tarn, the house is pleasantly located, without close neighbors. Our little Dalmatian loved to wander around the garden and watch the bats hunting on the water at sunset☀️. There are many hikes and villages to do/visit, not to mention all the beautiful swimming spots. An unforgettable vacation that really allowed us to recharge as a couple (well, 3🐾).

Walnut gîte was exactly as described. We had a wonderful 5 days and particularly loved the pool, the outlook and the location. We were close enough to do all sights and still able to come back to the peace and quiet in the afternoons for a swim in the pool and a glass of wine on the terrace. Carolyn was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

Excellent stay in Fanlac (couple with a dog) Christophe and Karine are friendly, responsive. The village and its inhabitants are peaceful and warm, not to mention little Vanelle. You will not regret your stay with them and in this beautiful region that is the Dordogne. we loved it.

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

We had a great weekend with friends with good board games! I highly recommend this playhouse!

Karen and Steve were great hosts. Very helpful and informative but at the same time discreet and unimposing. The little gite was lovely, very homely with a really comfy bed. It was within easy reach of towns such as Montignac, les Eyzies and Sarlet. A great spot for discovering the Dordogne and for relaxing at the end of the day.

We enjoyed a nice stay at Nina and Frederic. The environment & the surrounding nature area are lovely, and the place itself is decorated with good style and taste. Frederic was there to help out and make suggestions for places to visit. The bedroom, though spare, was clean and cozy & the matress was good. The rather steep, circular staircase going up to the sleeping area could be a bit of a challenge perhaps for small children, or an elderly person. We enjoyed a lovely overall experience at Nina and Frederic's.

My husband and I stayed at this charming cottage a year ago and loved it so much that we returned, this time joined by UK cousins who took the second bedroom and were equally charmed. We're planning a return next year. See how appealing it is in the photos? It's even better in person. Sitting in the flower-filled back yard with wine, cheese and, of course, baguette, even I, Type A personality, relaxed to the point of melted butter. We could smell newly mowed hay and hear cows and beautiful birdsong. It's a quick drive to the medieval market town of Le Bugue, where you can always stock up. Patrick and Jacqueline are ideal hosts. Friendly, just a few steps away on their rustic property, giving you privacy if you want it but always happy to chat and help. I'll mention again that Patrick is happy to help guests obtain tickets to the caves with prehistoric art; take him up on it! They're not so easy to obtain. And if a hot wave hits, the pool is a beauty.

A vacation we won't forget! What a pleasure to stay in this home located in the countryside in a quiet environment with magnificent views. The place is even better than the pictures. It is extremely clean, well arranged and has everything you need. The pool is beautiful, very well maintained and is appreciated after a good day of walks and discoveries in the area. David and his family were very welcoming and discreet throughout the stay. Maloya and Rubis, their dogs are adorable and endearing. A real gem for discovering the Lot!

Nothing to say about the place, it was perfect. Cécile and Sean had great tips. There are plenty of places to visit near the accommodation, gastronomic discoveries and pretty villages. A very nice place.

We had a great week at Alexandra's place The house is very comfortable, we found everything we wanted there. It is very well located, it allowed us many visits and hikes in the area. In addition, Alexandra is very welcoming and available. We recommend 100%.

We had a great time, a soothing environment with breathtaking views. A cottage can be more pleasant, cozy and very well equipped. A wood burning stove that gives a real charm to the cottage as well as its pool. Our hostess's recommendations were good advice. A beautiful area that will easily fall in love with and a pleasant local population. Lots of places to visit all of great beauty.
