The town is home to the Melrose Rugby Sevens & the Borders Book Festival & boasts many restaurants, cafes & independent shops. We loved our stay at Cuddies Mercat which is ideally positioned very close to the centre of Kelso but not too noisy. We were able to easily walk to and from the Border Union show ground and enjoy the wonderful scenery all around us. A special bonus was only a 4 minute walk to the Lidl store for anything we needed.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in June's apartment. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the town and in particular Jedburgh Abbey. We took the circular walk from the Alltrails App. Beautiful scenery and views.
