We are Riccardo, Cristina, Lorenzo, Bianca and Alice, and we came to this place in the forest to begin a simple yet rewarding life, trying to learn from nature. Our home in the deep mountain forest exists in quiet isolation, 1 kilometer from the nearest inhabitants. We offer you an attic apartment hand-renovated by Riccardo. The apartment has a big bed and pull-out couch (both situated under skylights), a living area, kitchenette, private bathroom and a view of the valley.

Fully renovated 28m2 apartment on the 1st floor of our house in quiet area with 18m2 south facing terrace, open views of the mountains. 1 room with equipped kitchenette, living room with tv, wifi, sofa bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190 cm) and two bunk beds (90 x 190 cm). 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. Ideal accommodation for 2, possible for up to 4 people. Parking in private parking lot. 900 m from the city center and train station.

The road to the valley is all paved but has some hairpin bends.

Le Cocon Chafferlin, charming studio located in St Chaffrey in the Serre Chevalier resort with magnificent views of the Luc Alphand slope. It has a great location and is a 5-minute walk from the shops and the start of the slopes. (Ski shuttle also available at the bottom of the residence) Completely renovated in 2021 in a warm mountain style and equipped with everything you need to make you feel right at home.

Small wooden chalet in the mountains

Everything is there, but you have to go: Warning access: Narrow 4 km mountain dirt road accessible with a rugged vehicle (highly recommended). We do not recommend climbing in new and/or low-body vehicles. Altitude 1650 meters. From early December to late March, due to snow, the climb is only by hiking, allow a maximum of 45 minutes. Four golf holes (pitch and putt), clubs and balls are at your disposal.
