What a beautiful setting! We enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet seeing bald eagles, loons, porpoise, turkeys and seals on our first day. Visiting our daughter at Bowdoin and this location was ideal - experiencing a bit of the Maine coast while still being close to campus. Hosts responded very quickly when we texted with a question. We would stay here again!

What a beautiful home surrounded by such natural beauty... The view was majestic! There was such attention to detail... Upon our arrival, we received a handwritten note and bottle of wine welcoming us along with a binder containing extensive information about the area. The house was immaculate and well-stocked with whatever you could ever need. The master suite was huge and the king bed so comfortable! Sheri was an extremely responsive host and very generous with check-in and check-out times. Thank you so very much for a perfect and relaxing stay!

This is the third time I have stayed at Douglas’s cottage with my two sisters. It is clean, well equipped, and just a short drive to beautiful Popham Beach. The view from the porch out into the ocean is great. Communication with Douglas is very good. We hope to return again next year.

When I signed the guest book as I prepared to leave, I noticed that nearly everyone described the cottage as a place to retreat, relax, and recharge. And that's exactly what it was for me! The view is breathtaking. Waking up to watch the sunrise here was perfect for the soul. I found exactly what I was looking for traveling alone in search of some quiet in the off-season. The description was clear so I knew what to expect as far as amenities and limitations. The community of other cottages felt very safe and it's an easy walk to the beach to explore. Deborah provided restaurant recommendations which I appreciated as I chose to drive into town for a hot meal each day. I arrived late at night and it is very dark but Deborah's directions were clear and accurate so just trust what you read about how to get in and bring a good flashlight. I will be back and I will stay longer!

Jane and Rick are warm, friendly hosts who are on site at the property. The apartment is separate and private, over the garage. It is spacious, dog friendly, and exactly what I needed! A very special place to stay in Harpswell

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Phippsburg home. The house is clean, very comfortable and authentically " Maine". There were some lovely hikes in the area and we enjoyed watching the boats nearby. We had mostly rainy weather, but we wished we could have enjoyed the beautiful porch. Next time!

As they say in a real estate: location, location, location. This property is beautifully located. And the property itself has a rustic cabin like feel. Just what you want for the Maine coast.

I stayed here with my partner and our cat, and it was wonderful in every way. I would say the property is even more spacious than it looks in the photos, and the river view from the living and dining areas is spectacular. The property is very comfortable, with big beds, comfy sofas, plenty of room in the kitchen and dining areas, and a wonderful deck with a grill and plenty of seating. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. There are great books on the shelves to choose from, as well as information on the local area. The location is peaceful, right on the water, with wonderful views, and the centre of Bath is a short 15-minute walk way. Our host was very responsive and provided all the information we could need. There was a lovely basket of treats waiting on the table for us when we arrived, which included cat toys for our cat, which was such a thoughtful touch. We hope to return to this wonderful property!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cosy cottage. The views of the Casco Bay right outside your door are truly breathtaking. The kitchen was very well equipped, the gas grill was useful, and the porch overlooking the bay was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Jack was available if needed but not intrusive. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It's a no-frills fishing cabin in the perfect location. Wonderful sunsets and a bay right outside your door. Very calm and relaxing time.

The home is neat, clean, spacious and has everything you need for a home away from home. The view is spectacular. It has a fabulous deck and gorgeous windows so you can enjoy the views from inside as well as outside. Lots of walking trails nearby and a variety of restaurants to choose from. The sunsets are beyond words. James was very responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and truly enjoyed our stay!

The beach was right there. We played in the water most of the day. Then the beds were very comfortable while going to sleep listening to the waves.

Cecilia and Isabella were phenomenal hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable than just the simply glorious cabin and property. This experience was absolutely everything that I was hoping for. The cabin was rustic and had perfect Maine Lakeside charm. I could have spent the rest of the summer on that dock 🥰

This was our second time staying in this house and we would love to go back again. The house is a short walk to the beach and beautifully furnished and appointed. It was spacious and comfortable for our group of 7 and Christina was a highly responsive host. Would highly recommend.

We had a glorious week at The Red House in Harpswell. I’d been dreaming of going to Maine and staying in a beautiful place right on the ocean and this place did NOT disappoint!! Plenty of fun places to walk and explore, plenty of gorgeous nature views to stare at… it was perfection! Can’t wait till we are able to come back!! The Rileys thank you, David and Carter!!!!

Fresh lilac and lily-of-the -valley met us on the dining table their sweet scent wafting through what my mother called a “snug Maine hideout” My daughter and I swam off the dock and my husband and ai awoke to the most glorious view of the world at peace. Thank you Sean!

A plus all around. The house is beautiful and the location is gorgeous, with the ocean a stone’s throw from the back porch. Mark was very friendly and helpful. He set up a bed downstairs for a member of our family who uses a wheelchair, and installed a ramp to get up the front steps.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Waterledge. The home is lovingly decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook complete meals. Indoor games and outdoor toys such as corn hole, croquet, kayaks… are also available. We enjoyed the stunning sunsets from the large porch, exploring the beach/waters edge at low tide and hiking. Everyone in our party of 6 wants to come back!

We love Harpswell and Timothy's home is a real gem. The house is beautiful and so comfortable! The view from the deck is absolutely amazing. We had a great week--we especially enjoyed kayaking. Timothy was so friendly and answered all my questions. We hope to return!

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this home! It was beautifully decorated and the view was gorgeous, even in the fog. We especially enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace.

We absolutely loved staying at this house! The views each morning waking up to sunrise were spectacular. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The house was comfortable, with a semi-open concept and cozy cabin vibes. I’m a writer, so I really enjoyed being able to spend the mornings working on my novel while watching the tides rise and fall between the islands. The nights were peaceful and beautiful as well, and we loved being able to gather around the fireplace and enjoy the moonlight on the ocean. We would definitely return to Charlie’s place to stay again!

Natasha’s house was perfect for our family vacation in Maine. The house is charming and had everything we needed and then some - appreciated all the kids toys and crib! The views are absolutely incredible. Would recommend!

Great place, Host was great and easy to reach. location was beautiful and right on the water, The porch was so comfortable watching the tides chances over the day with cup of tea.
